Our stay in Merzouga was an unforgettable experience that will stay with us for a long time. The property where we stayed was personally built by our host Hassan, together with his brothers and father. This family effort gives the place a unique charm and reflects the traditional building techniques of the region. The meals were lovingly prepared by Hassan’s mother, adding an authentic and personal touch to every dish. The home-cooked food was full of flavor and made us feel truly welcome. In the evening, we enjoyed a musical gathering organized by Hassan. With the sounds of traditional Berber music, we had a wonderful time, creating memories that will last forever. If you’re looking for an authentic experience in the heart of the desert, this is the perfect place to visit. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting to discover true Berber hospitality, culture, and traditions.

For different reasons I don't want to relate, finally we couldn't sleep in the jaimas. However, Hssaine was sympathetic to us with the different issues that arose on our trip and for that we are grateful. We are not going to value our stay in the Jaimas, but the place we stayed, which was the Riad. I was clean and very beautiful, with a typical Moroccan decoration. The welcome tea we were offered was very good and honestly, we had a very interesting conversation with Hssaine. I wish things would have been otherwise. It was nice to spend time with him and share anecdotes and experiences.

A big thanks to Said who was an amazing host to us! The apartment that we stayed in was absolutely beautiful! It was clean, organised and close to many of the near by activities which was really helpful! I would definitely recommend Saids apartment to anyone come to Merzouga 💗💗💗

It was a pleasure staying with Hamid. The last house before the desert, quiet as it is a bit out of town. Hamid is always willing to help and explain the local point of view and its Berber culture.

Amanda was an amazing host. You really feel the warmth and hospitality the second you arrive. The property is really cool and isolated. It was nice just hanging around the home and relaxing. Amanda also has great connections for tours and experiences. The Berber pizza made in the sand right outside the house was a special experience and tasted great. The dogs she has are so loving and really made our stay fun. The space is rustic and romantic. Dinner by candlelight and the fire in the salon were wonderful and the food was all delicious. Amazing stay and a great alternative to staying in a desert camp!

We had a great time with the family at Laurent's! Ali's welcome is really exceptional, he has helped us a lot on a daily basis and he is a very endearing person. The house is perfect for a family, there is room for everyone and even a place in the yard for the car! We really loved our time in Merzouga! Thanks to Laurent and Ali!

Recommend to all of you! Nice price with good service. It’s the most beautiful and unforgettable Airbnb we had in Morocco. We also took a wonderful camel tour in Sahara desert guide by them. Looking forward to back again.
