Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Merewether Beach

My young family and I stayed at Kim’s place along with my parents and brother just after Christmas. The place was very spacious and comfortable. Great outdoor area and had everything we needed. Very well equipped kitchen too! The second toilet was attached to the house but on the outside. It ended up being an advantage for people to have privacy and also not wake the kids as much when using the toilet. Blacksmiths beach is right at the end of the street and further down the road you can get to Grannies pool which was perfect for our 1 and 3 yr olds to paddle around with a park next to it as well. Short drive to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants and also loved Caves beach close by. Highly recommend Kim’s place, she was an amazing host, very proactive and offered to setup a high chair and cot for your little one. The home is very family friendly being all one level with a flat backyard and fully fenced off.

Courtney and Jade’s place was a great place to stay for our group’s trip to the Hunter Valley for a wedding. The house was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed making use of the ping pong table. There were a few small things that could be worked on such as cleaning out the shower drain in the ensuite so that water didn’t overflow in the shower. I brought up these issues with Courtney and Jade and they were quick to respond and ensure that they would fix these issues quickly. Communication was very good and Courtney and Jade made sure to check up on us and replied to messages in minutes.

We required accommodation for 6 adults and Amy’s place suited our needs with 3 large beds which very few other listings had. Amy’s place is just like the photos….very beautifully decorated but not too cluttered. It was very comfortable for 6 adults and we will more than likely contact Amy again if we require accommodation in Newcastle in the future.

Little Sea Sea was a beautiful place for our family of 4 to visit. It had so many lovely touches that made it feel just like home. Sitting in the back deck looking out over the water was a real highlight! We would definitely return.

Perfect Stay for Our Family! We had a fantastic time at this Airbnb. Close to shops, restaurants, and stunning beaches. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped, making it perfect for our small dog and two teenage boys. Lauren was incredibly responsive and a wonderful host, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back for another visit! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Brightwaters. Angie and Bob are the best hosts ever. Angie was welcoming, lovely and helpful to all of us. The place was amazing, right in front of the water. The kids loved fishing, kayaking and the tree swing. The place was very relaxing and convenient. it was close to restaurants and shops. I Highly recommend staying here if you are planning on visiting Lake Macquarie.

What a spectacular place. Fantastic location, very spacious apartment, and wonderful hosts. The hosts added air conditioning throughout the apartment during our stay and that only made it better! We will most definitely return.

We had the most amazing weekend at Donna’s place, Turtles. The apartment was clean, well- equipped, spacious, light and bright. The location was perfect for beach access and lovely panoramic views. Donna was polite and friendly in all interactions, responding quickly and providing detailed instructions. We will most definitely be returning to Turtles at Caves Beach, thanks so much Donna!!

Such a great location near Bar Beach. The big back deck made for a wonderful spot to catch up with family. The house had everything we could have needed to feel at home. The high chair was a super helpful addition for our little one. Nic and Olivia were great to deal with.

An amazing apartment with everything at your fingertips. We parked the car downstairs and had no need to use it for the 2 days we stayed as you can walk everywhere!! Beaches and restaurants minutes away. Would highly recommend Bianca’s little oasis!!

I can only really echo all the other reviews - this spacious warehouse conversion is in such a great spot...this is our 4th Newcastle summer holiday and the best location yet. Close to beaches, the breakwater/lighthouse, light rail, city - it was SO nice not to use the car. Very spacious for a family of 4, nice aircon and bedding, beautiful furniture and all the technology. As an architect I read every book and magazine too :) thanks Amanda. I hope we'll come back.
