Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mentone

This was a very unique stay. I spent the weekend here with my son, and we had a great time on the rooftop lounge, in the hot tub, and just enjoying the peace and quiet of the area. Chattanooga is very close so we spent some time there, and we also Went to Cloudland Canyon State Park to hike and see the waterfalls. Definitely enjoyed the stay and a very cool and unique area.

We had an amazing time! It was the perfect weekend getaway! The house was only a 10 minute drive from DeSoto Falls and the beautiful hikes in that area. The cottage was a cozy place to return to after our hikes. Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful home with an incredible sunrise view. You won't regret staying here. The home is clean and very well stocked. The area is very private and you can hear the waterfall below. You'll enjoy watching hummingbirds on the porch while sipping your coffee & taking in the beautiful sunrise. Great local lookout points, restaurants, coffee shop, and other attractions within 5-10 minutes from the house.

Very peaceful place. Perfect place for some R&R. The house was very clean and just what we needed. Loved the outdoor fire pit. The creek and pond were very low due to lack of rain. Would like to come back when the levels are up.

We rented the entire house. It was spacious and accommodated all of us (14 people). The beds were comfortable. The spaces were decorated nicely. The house was comfortable on every level. The house was clean when we arrived. Communication was good; could have been quicker to respond. We had some issues with toilets which Joel said would be taken care of after we left. Also, they should increase the YouTube TV subscription to allow for more devices to stream at one time since the same account is used at several different properties. Overall, we had a lovely experience with this house and would recommend it to anyone needing all three levels or just one level.

Wonderful Thanksgiving stay! Everyone agrees that this is the cleanest AirBnB we have ever stayed in! We had 15 in the family there for Thanksgiving. There were a TON of beds and PLENTY of towels. The cabinets were stocked with cooking and eatery supplies (pots, pans, plates, cups, etc). The kids enjoyed playing outside and going down to the creek. We cooked breakfast every morning. It does ask that you cook bacon outside, which we did. There were appliances provided so that you could cook outside. There is a neighborhood dog that comes around but it was friendly, did not bark, jump, or bother anyone. We felt secluded enough from neighbors and there is plenty to do - Rock City, Chattanooga, etc. The host was very quick with communication.

This is my second stay with Dana and just like the first stay, she was very flexible and accommodating. This is my go to stay in Chattanooga, TN

Great house and amazing host. Everything was clean, the location was super safe, and the park nearby was such a bonus. The house was really thoughtful and the music decorations were so cool. Christie was a great host - super communicative and open to a late booking + late checkin - super easy to get in with parking in the back + lockbox. There also wasn’t anything to do when checking out (ie no stripping sheets / taking out trash / washing dishes) which is different. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed spending time here during Thanksgiving week. It was peaceful, and the kids enjoyed the games plus having their own upstairs space. Our dog loved roaming the property. Close to Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain activities, too.

Had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, and the host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to explore. Highly recommend!

The Yurt was very nice and cozy - despite the outside temps being down into the 20s at night. The yurt has a main heater plus several space heaters and heated mattress. I brought my own heated blanket, which I did use when sitting on the couch in the evening. The view from the yurt's porch is really lovely. The location is very convenient to Cloudland Canyon State Park and Lula Lake Land Trust.

I never have anything but a great stay here. When I need to get away, Paradise Garden and the AirBnB there calls. It's quiet, it's intimate, it's nurturing and hands down the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Thank you Donnie and Cameron!

Everyone wanted to stay for more days and will want to come back! Great place to stay and comfortable!

Sylvia responded to my messages promptly. She checked to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything several times during our stay. We look forward to staying at one of her properties again in the future. I would recommend renting from her to anybody who is looking for a great place to spend some time away to relax.

My family enjoyed our 4-night stay soooooo much! The cabin was clean, and the view was spectacular! My grandson enjoyed visiting the goats and chickens, and watching the zillions of chipmunks scurry around from the huge porch was a hit! The indoor pool are is incredible! Thank you for everything!

The views from the deck were amazing! Loved staying here and the fire pit and hot tub were a nice addition to have.

Very nice place. Wife got scared driving up the mountain to get to it. Kids love the pool on the property. Short walk to it from property.

Wonderful family stay! We have 2 littles and Sylvia’s place was the perfect mountain getaway for our family! The views were breathtaking and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi, making s’mores in the firepit and relaxing in the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and was filled with cozy blankets and plenty of space for our family of 4. There’s also a very nice indoor pool that’s recently been renovated but didn’t seem to be heated yet. But we enjoyed everything else, and there’s even some goats and chickens on the property. Located about 40 min from Chattanooga, though we only went once for dinner. I’d highly recommend bringing plenty of food as there’s not much nearby but the kitchen has everything you need to cook family dinners and there’s a private charcoal grill, as well as firepit and wood is supplied.

Perfect comunication, perfect place to stay.

The apartment is large, tastefully decorated, clean and quiet. We were visiting Chattanooga for a few days and the apartment was a great place to base ourselves. We hiked on Lookout Mountain, watched the "Head to the Hooch" rowing regatta on the Tennessee River and dined out in some great restaurants. The hosts responded to my messages within minutes and offered late check-out had we needed it. Wonderful experience and would stay there again.
