Marcia is such an amazing host. The prestigious appartment was spot on. Brilliant location, all shops and restaurants are just an elevator away. My partner was impressed and I will come back again and again.

Simon's place was all we needed, lovely and secure apartment within the vibey Rosebank area. Very convenient with lots to do within a short walk. Simon was a very responsive host as well, I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a hustle free stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sally’s lovely Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, Sally was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The highlight of this property, however, has to be the tranquil, serene garden. It’s a beautifully maintained oasis of calm and relaxation. The garden is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed. If you’re looking for a serene retreat with a friendly and accommodating host, this is the place for you. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

This was our first time in Johannesburg and Anita helped it to be very special. She was a great hostess. Anytime we needed anything she had no problem assisting us. She gave us information about sightseeing in the area, restaurants, great farmer's markets and much more. My sister was visiting from Rome, Italy and Anita speaks Italian, so that was a special surprise for my sister. Anita also has a basketball hoop, which my 10 year old granddaughter loved, she also gave her games and drawing supplies. My granddaughter had a great time. We highly recommend Anita's beautiful cottage and great hospitality, and would surely book it again.

My group stayed at Rasheed’s listing to start the year. I cannot say enough about the hospitality of Rasheed, his professional staff, and the beauty of this location. Rasheed was extremely accommodating and responsive. His space for all of our needs. If you’re looking for a place to stay with a ton of room, privacy, and peacefulness then stay here. I know this will be a repeat stay for me the next time I’m in Johannesburg.

A very big shout out to Aniss and his entire crew for such an amazing and spotless place, all amenities mentioned were available and they even provided extra toiletries, extra towels, extra pillows, flat iron working well, a backup power back was provided in case of load shedding which I never experienced. All the kitchen ware you will ever needed was provided. Basically I would live comfortably and happily at Anis place for an entire year with no complains. Great house and amazing location! Jason is very responsive and accommodating (our travel was slightly delayed and he was very understanding of the situation). Lots of great restaurants practically at the doorstep!

What can I say?! An incredible spot to spend a few peaceful days in the city. it felt like a home away from home the second we walked through the door. Our hosts were fantastic and made us and our pups feel welcome the entire time we were there. The pool was a delight, and the view over Sandton was glorious. I can't recommend Alex & Gideon, or their cottage, highly enough.

Sean was an amazing host from start to finish. He let us check in early, which we really appreciated, and the place totally blew us away — it was honestly 100 times better than what we saw in the listing. The location was super convenient, and we felt really safe the whole time. Plus, no load shedding during our stay, which was a huge plus. Sean took the time to walk us through every little detail in the house when we arrived, and you could tell he really cared — nothing was rushed, and he didn’t leave anything out. Communication with him was spot-on the entire time, and the house had everything we needed. My kids absolutely loved it too — they were so comfortable and happy there, which made the whole experience even better for us. Honestly, I don’t have a single complaint. If the place is available the next time we’re in town, we’re definitely booking it again. Highly recommend!

Such a thoughtfully organized home. Much thought has gone in to the added extras. So easy to stay, right down to reusable shopping bags for guests to use. I am couldn't have been more thoughtful and concerned about our comfort during unscheduled sudden load shedding. The place is central and surprisingly peaceful right in the middle of Sandton. Will definitely return.

Kim was really great and friendly. She communicated very well during my stay and was helpful. The cottage was clean and had a beautiful touch of furniture that was unique. The cottage is very spacious and has all the amenities you require to stay. Thank you so much Kim for a lovely stay.

The most comfortable bed we slept in during our South African stay! Quality appliances, comfortable furnishings. A great patio for outdoor eating and braaing, and a lovely garden for the kids to play in. The host was amazingly responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend and we will certainly stay here again on future trips.

Kristina was a great host who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The space itself was very stylish and pleasant, with lots of natural light and the lovely little garden definitely highlights. Would not hesitate to book Kristina’s apartment again!

The hosts are divine and the cottage is delightful with the wide open garden with roaming buck is really just gorgeous and peaceful. A total delight!! The dirt road drive from the main road is a bit hectic. We were in a small car and after the rain, had to drive extremely slowly to avoid the potholes and craters, so it added about 20 minutes to our travel time. Can highly recommend though, it was perfect for our overnight needs.

This is not a typical airbnb. Stephanie goes above and beyond and in the end is more of a friend than a "host." For me, this is a home away from home. You must love dogs if you are to enjoy staying here.

Our trip to South Africa has come to a wonderful end in the home of Anna-Sofé. The Greenodd Guest House was our base for exploring Pretoria, Johannesburg and Soweto. We have been looking forward to come home every day and enjoy the house, yard and pool. Anna-Sofé was a great hostess with lots of tips and nice conversations.

We had an absolute blast! The place was clean, cozy, and exceeded our expectations in every way. The host was super responsive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. This was not the first time I have used their Airbnbs, so I knew what to expect them from them. It was a very nice stay, with no problems whatsoever. They even assisted us in getting a better suited place for our guests and changing the booking was quick and easy. I will be using them again in future, I hope they never drop their standards. An oasis in the city. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and with lovely characterful touches. We especially loved the beautiful gardens with magical paths, birds, eco pool and abundant greenery. Another highlight for us was the community dog park at the bottom of the property with lots of friendly dogs and more wildlife. Wendy, Maria and Jake were all super kind, helpful and friendly!
