Rascal’s Flat is a magical treehouse. It sits high in the redwoods and is surrounded by natural beauty, including well-conceived and executed landscaping. You look out the living room across the redwood canopy. It’s exactly what we wanted in a Russian River weekend retreat. The space is cozy and super functional, and having a separate small house for one person to get away is a nice bonus. We took the dogs on walks around the neighborhood—lots to sniff for them and beautiful views of the river and hills for us. The host was responsive and helpful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Rascal!

A serene stay overlooking clear lake. Large panoramic windows and outdoor seating make for a great backdrop. The place also has a hot tub overlooking the lake which was refreshing. The place was extremely quiet and peaceful. All amenities and appliances worked. Overall a great getaway!

We love this cute & peaceful 1940’s cottage tucked into Santa Rosa! This was our second stay & Lynn was flexible with our early check in request. This place is stocked with everything you would need from extra swim suits for the hot tub to kitchen & bathroom needs. The back is beautiful & we were just too busy to use the hot tub this time but did enjoy their complimentary wine on the patio. We will be back:)

Magical Christmas Getaway on the Russian River My wife and I had the most wonderful Christmas stay at Mama K’s charming cottage on the Russian River in Monte Rio. Nestled on a quiet dead-end road, the property feels like a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The expansive lawn leading to the riverfront was a perfect spot for post coffee morning strolls despite the rain and we were even lucky enough to see deer on the property each day. The lush garden, towering redwood trees, and constant wildlife made it feel like a true wild nature getaway. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, romantic and cozy. combining mid century rustic charm with modern comforts. Our two senior dogs were in heaven in the lush gardens and big lawn but our heaven was the hot tub. The location is also amazing – just a short drive to the ocean and only half a mile to hiking trails, so we had plenty of outdoor adventures right at our door.

Tami’s Healdsburg unit was spectacular. Inside and out were clean, pristine, and as advertised. Bed was very comfortable! Deck was wow! Gas fireplace was welcome in chilly January evenings in Healdsburg. Plenty of space for luggage, clothing, etc. Tami was very responsive and provided us with recommendations for vineyards/wineries and local Healdsburg restaurants. And Healdsburg? What a great place!

Beautiful and peaceful cottage on the river! Everything was just as pictured, with warm designer touches. The hot tub was wonderfully clean, and the linens were crisp and fresh. Second (outdoor) bathroom and shower downstairs was a great surprise. Fireplace was lovely. A really well managed property in a unique location. Try ziplining, or an in-house massage :). Loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Stayed at Eric’s listing for a quiet NYE! This little house in Guerneville is nestled into the trees and is super peaceful. We only noticed one neighbor that was home, and the house has double-panes windows. I only mention that because our nervous shepherd, Teddy, had a wonderful night safe from scary fireworks. :) The kitchen is useable, the hot tub and huge bathtub are great, and TV easy to use. The mattress was nice and firm! It’s a cozy and delightful listing - perfect base for wine tasting and only a ten minute drive to Armstrong Woods.

Dogwood cottage is a fantastic listing! Every detail was meticulously thought out. The serene landscape was so welcoming and peaceful- we did not want to depart!Every morning we were greeted with a beautiful sunrise over the trees, which made for a delightful coffee time. I highly recommend the cottage as a retreat from the noise. Jeff and Trey were excellent hosts! 5 stars for sure!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Moon Shack! It was the perfect cozy get away for my husband and I plus our pup. I loved having the fully fenced in yard to play with our dog. The bed was comfy, kitchen had everything we needed! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Out of all the places I searched in the area I'm extremely glad I picked this one, it was exactly what me and my partner were looking for.

Couldn’t recommend this cottage enough! Not only is Albion extremely charming and beautiful but the cottage itself is so beautiful I found myself wanting to just hang o it there all day. It’s so peaceful and comfortable.

We enjoyed our time here. It is very rural, quiet and peaceful. Laytonville is a small town so the grocery store is very basic. It is only about 10 minutes away and open until 11. We were traveling with small children and arrived later in the day. The kids were hot and hungry and we had not had a chance to get food. The woman handling check in had a plate of fruit and was incredibly gracious to share to help keep them going until we could run in and grab groceries. She also called ahead to confirm how late they would be open. (4th of July) The walk to the private lake is not difficult and there are multiple kayaks you can use. In addition, it was during an incredible heatwave and there were regular check-ins to make sure all was well and everyone had water. There is no air conditioning but there are many fans that helped it cool off at night. Any issues or concerns were dealt with timely and appropriately. The service was truly above and beyond.

We loved our stay at Ashley's! She was very communicative and answered our questions right away. The location is amazing as it is right on the river and across the street from such an incredible beach! We would love to stay here again if we are in the area :)

All at once cozy and modern - we truly relaxed during our stay. Everything about the cottage is easy - lighting, WiFi, kitchen supplies, hot tub with easy on/off cover, fireplace. Great for 2 people and a dog (would be tight for more than that). Just really a gem I think we will find hard to beat in the area for our needs.

Tim was incredibly responsive and helpful. His place was beautiful and easily accessible for all of our needs. It was unusually well stocked with everything we could need. We look forward to coming back, since I have family very nearby.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the cottage! This was the most ideal location, in walking distance to everything and a grocery store a stone throw away! The house was clean and comfortable, we would definitely recommend and are also excited to return. Thanks Marta for being such a responsive host!

Just you, hot tub, stars, the waves pounding in the background, and a fire to warm up. The house was so clean. Extra pillows and blankets to make another bed for my 4 year old and plenty of towels. The kitchen was very well stocked, obviously this was a true airbnb, not just a rental property. You’ll have literally everything you need, including a private beach access to roam and soak in. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday weekend with my family.

Gorgeous property, views and home. Enjoyed lunch and coffee on a one of a kind table that directly overlooks the ocean. The only sounds were the crashing waves and red tail hawks circling overhead. Only concern would be for elderly guests gaining entry to the property. Need to access the property via two gates that must be opened by hand. Very windy and rainy two days of our visit so had to struggle with the gate when coming and going. Highly recommend this property for its privacy which allowed lots of time to read by the fire and relax!

Linda-Marie was such a responsive and helpful host. Her place is also immaculate and has one of the best stocked kitchens of any AirBnBs I’ve stayed in. We would definitely stay again!

We've stayed in multiple Airbnbs in the area, and Kelly's is by far our favorite!! We were so impressed with the views, cleanliness, location and amenities. We saw deer, quail and lots of other wildlife right out the kitchen window. She even provided homemade treats and a bottle of wine!! She was so friendly and helpful, and we had a very peaceful and relaxing weekend. The bed was also very comfortable with the softest sheets we've ever felt. This will definetely be returning multiple times! ZERO complaints!!

Lovely stay in the redwoods! Sweet, cozy, private cottage with lovely woods to walk and a short drive to Mendocino. Will stay here again.

This Airbnb was simple but comfortable. You feel like you’re in a cabin in the woods yet you are so close to town. It was also clean and the beds were comfortable.

Had a lovely stay. It’s so peaceful and the views of the river from the deck were amazing. Spa was great. It’s only a 10 minute drive or Uber into Healdsburg so offers the best of a tranquil setting while having great access to restaurants and wineries in town.
