Lovely stay at Powfoot over Christmas. Carolyn had very kindly put up lights and a Christmas tree for us which was extra special - thank you. Excellent instructions and detailed information about the house and the surrounding area. Also to highlight to take care on the mud flats when the tide is coming in. We enjoyed visits to Mabie Forest, Drumlanrig and Caerlaverock castles all recommended even on an atmospheric (wet!) December day!

Fantastic hosts, couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful, peaceful property. Gorgeous interior, spotlessly clean with lovely added touches like fresh eggs. A short walk to a secluded beach and a short drive to a decent pub what more could you want!

What a wonderful house! A lovely and peaceful location with incredible views and walks from it. House was spotless, cosy, completely as described and probably the most well equipped Airbnb we’ve stayed in. We’d love to stay again!

We really enjoyed our weekend at this lovely little apartment, the location was fabulous, literally a few yards from the promenade for a walk, handy as we had 2 dogs with us. Margaret was absolutely lovely, she even bought me a little present for my birthday, a lovely touch. Lots of little touches to make it feel like home. The hamper of goodies was most welcome, lovely quality items. I would 100% recommend this for a stay. Thank you Margaret

A lovely clean , well appointed static caravan with amazing views of the sea. The site was very peaceful and dog friendly. Debbie was a fantastic host , great communication, she even messaged me during my stay to tell me a pod of dolphins had been sighted in the area so I could look out for them.

Samantha’s property is exactly like the photos - beautifully decorated and very spacious for the 6 of us staying there. Thoughtful touches such as some basic provisions along with some home made cakes were a welcome surprise! Samantha was always quick to respond to any messages, both before and during our stay. Less than a five minute walk and we were at the seafront, which was perfect for some long walks. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Samantha’s house!

Out stay here was absolutely lovely. The place was really easy to find with all the instructions Jo and Paddy supplied. Everywhere was spotless, the pictures really don’t do it justice - they look lovely but it’s even nicer inside and out. The view made waking up in the morning a delight. The patio seating area is lovely, however it does look out onto a public pier so I imagine in summer it isn’t as private as it felt as we went in March They have lots and pots and pans and everything you would need ! The only downside I would say is there is a coffee machine however it wasn’t clear what coffee was needed to use it beforehand so we didn’t have the right coffee to use with it! (I think it’s ground coffee that’s needed) They do supply sachets of instant coffee and tea though which was super helpful All in all it’s an amazing stay and we are already talking about going back in summer !

We booked the caravan the morning we needed it as should have been staying elsewhere but due to illness we couldn’t, so booked in a hurry but everything was so easy and we were very impressed with everything about our stay, our grandsons thought it was wonderful, can’t fault anything and definitely worth a 5 star

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

Thank you for the stay - we had a lovely time. Only thing to mention is the heating was a bit tricky (wouldn’t come on at all the second day). Otherwise, stay was lovely and the caravan was spotless and came with everything we needed. No WiFi (as far as I know) and limited phone signal but this is what we were looking for so no issues.

Superb location, beautiful sea views and stunning sun rises both days of our stay! Immaculately clean with everything we could need, and really well stocked! The heating system was fantastic which is a must in the winter months! Would definitely stay here again during the summer time the kids absolutely loved it!

Wow!!!! What a house!! The location right on the beach is simply beautiful. The house was immaculate and the smell on arrival was gorgeous! Everything was perfect for us to celebrate a special birthday and Tracey checked in with us to ensure we had all we needed. Took us about 15 mins to walk into Amble where there are lots of places to eat. We absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to return!! Thank you so much!!!

We had a lovely short break over the new year, the lodge was very homely and had everything you need. It was very clean and tidy and had a great view of the lake which was right outside. Vanessa was very helpful and was always available and had great knowledge of the area. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks

Had a fantastic stay in this lodge. Location was amazing lots to do locally. Hosts were very observant helped in anyway. Lodge was spotless and everything you need. Will definitely be back.

Just back from a long weekend in Blackpool and as annual visitors this is by far the best accommodation we've experienced - clean, spacious and comfortable, easily within walking distance of the main attractions though public transport is nearby too.

Onyx House is the perfect hen party location. The whole house is so modern and beautifully decorated to a really high standard and quality. The location right on the waterfront was perfect and we really were blown away with the facilities. Highly recommend for large groups! Best accommodation we’ve ever booked via Airb&b every detail has been well thought out. Pictures don’t do it justice. Housekeeper was super helpful and welcoming and helped us with any queries well in advance and during our stay

An absolute gem of a property! Spacious, modern, extremely clean and tidy. Excellent facilities, easy parking and close to town centre. Host was an excellent communicator, sharing clear instructions as to how to get in and subsequently leave the house. This is one of the best Air BnB’s I have stayed at and would highly recommended to any families to stay in. I will definitely be back. Dean Coady OBE

We stayed at Jonathan and Lindsay’s place for 3 days for our business trip in Blackpool:) The accommodation is spacious, cosy and wonderful! Everything we need is within reach and best of all we absolutely love the living area and the lovely kitchen, and it’s perfect for us to relax and have a good time together after a hard day’s work!! Exactly as described, great location close to all amenities. Could have sat and looked at the view for days. Abi was a great host providing clear instructions, everything was ready for us and the bottle of fizz and chocolates was very welcome.

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. Felt like home as every little detail had been thought about and was really cosy. It was perfect for the 6 of us. Great location right next to the sea with wonderful sunrises strolling along the beach. Beautifully decorated and well kept accomodation. Close to some fabulous attractions. We enjoyed Woodhorn Colliery museum, saw dolphins at Newbiggin as the sun set, a fantastic boat trip to the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne from Seahouses, Warkworth Castle and beach, and a stop in Amble. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts who kept in good communication throughout and were really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this place to others looking for a base to explore Northumberland and all it has to offer.

Gills home in Cleverleys was absolutely gorgeous, The views were incredible and was in lovely location. The locals were all very polite and was really near high street shops which was a pleasant surprise. House was spotless and had all we needed, from large fridge and freezer, to throws on the beds, and lots more!! We had an amazing time!! Thank you!!
