Really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow. Easy to find because David sent accurate instructions. The place was lovely and clean, with comfy beds. The garden was fully secure for dogs and lots of walks from the property, with easy access to the beach. Great accommodation, and I'm sure we will return.

Lovely accommodation. Great view. Spotlessly clean. Everything needed was provided for a relaxing stay by the sea. Perfect location. My dog was very happy with the green space and fresh air. Plenty of room. Full size kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay at Powfoot over Christmas. Carolyn had very kindly put up lights and a Christmas tree for us which was extra special - thank you. Excellent instructions and detailed information about the house and the surrounding area. Also to highlight to take care on the mud flats when the tide is coming in. We enjoyed visits to Mabie Forest, Drumlanrig and Caerlaverock castles all recommended even on an atmospheric (wet!) December day!

Lovely place to unwind and relax. If you want to stay in one place and appreciate the sea and the accommodation then this is your place.

Great place to explore the South Lakes. The cabin is located inside White Cross Bay caravan park / resort but it's private and located right by the bay. Really peaceful surrounding. The cabin was really spacious and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. It's about 10 mins drive to Bowness and all the cafes and restaurants. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in Windermere also which is 5 mins from the cabin. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Thank you for the stay - we had a lovely time. Only thing to mention is the heating was a bit tricky (wouldn’t come on at all the second day). Otherwise, stay was lovely and the caravan was spotless and came with everything we needed. No WiFi (as far as I know) and limited phone signal but this is what we were looking for so no issues.

Brilliant caravan everything that you could need was provided, the only negative for myself personally was the phone reception was none existent inside but it was ok outside, I think Wi-Fi would be the only improvement but I’d definitely stay again

We had a lovely short break over the new year, the lodge was very homely and had everything you need. It was very clean and tidy and had a great view of the lake which was right outside. Vanessa was very helpful and was always available and had great knowledge of the area. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks

This is a lovely lodge. Comfortable and well equipped. The location on the site is amazing (one of the best in my opinion). The hot tub is spotless and fabulous. The beds are comfy and spacious. The heating is easy to control and it is toast warm. The only disappointing thing about our stay were the excessive fees charged by the leisure club to use the pool and facilities. This is beyond the owners control and in no way negative about the lodge or location. You just need to be aware when booking that if you want to use the indoor pool (or gym) the fee is £10 per person per day (or you can buy passes for multiple days that make it slightly cheaper (I paid £75 for two adults and a child for 3 days). The swimming times are also limited for children. Overall we had a fantastic stay and cannot fault the accommodation which is good value compared to other sites that are similar.

Fantastic stay, a lovely spacious static. Stayed for 4 nights during New Year so was very cold and windy outside. Loved being inside, heating was very good. It’s exactly what you would want. Location is great and just 10 minute drive away from anything you may need or want to do. We will be back!!

One of the best bnb I stayed so far. Beautiful surroundings. Great view. Neat and clean. Walkable distance to the local stores and pubs. Chirs is so friendly and responsive. 💯 recommended to all who wish to have some good time with wonderful views.

A beautiful little beach house in spectacular surroundings - we loved every minute of our stay. The house was spotlessly clean and the log fire was a real treat. Ideal for a couples get away - we loved watching the gorgeous sunsets from the living area and deck.

We had a short family stay at this lovely cottage. Nice area to wander to the beach and explore The Lakes. If you're 6ft 4 like I am, it's a bit tight inside but enough to spend a few days in the area.

It was a great home to make our base to the Lakes. Windermere is about 45 mins drive. the house had more bedroom than we expected, decent kitchen, 3 bathrooms and local superstores about 4 minutes drive. Free on street parking may not be found always outside the house but never more than a minute's walk away. the small patio at the back was nice right outside the kitchen. Definately good value for money!

A Perfect Beach Getaway – Spotless, Stunning, and Great Value! We had the most amazing stay at this beach house! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking sea views – waking up to the sight and sound of the waves was an absolute dream. The house itself was immaculate, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained, making it a truly comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Travelling with our two young daughters, we really appreciated how well-equipped and family-friendly the space was. Everything was thoughtfully provided, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect – just a stone’s throw from the beach, allowing us to enjoy morning walks and sunset views right on our doorstep. On top of all this, the value for money was incredible. We’ve stayed in many places, but this one really exceeded all expectations. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning!

Had a lovely stay at Samantha’s place over Christmas. There were 5 of us ladies and dogs and the place was plenty big enough. We cooked a lovely Christmas Day meal in the large kitchen which had everything we needed. We all felt really at home and felt that the place had a nice feel to it. It’s in a great location for dog owners with Mount park just up the road and the promenade and beach so near. We had some lovely walks on the beach. We would recommend it and would come back again

Our second stay here at Jodie’s flat overlooking Morecambe Bay. It was a dreadful weekend weather wise (with Storm Darragh raging outside !) but the flat was very cosy and warm and we still managed to get out and about with my family who we were visiting. The property has everything you need and is exactly as described, is also much bigger than it looks in the photos. I look forward to coming back again next year.
