Townhome vacation rentals in Melbourne City

I highly recommend Lyndall’s home for your stay. We came from the US for my son’s wedding. The location was excellent just a few steps off Lygon to restaurants and tram stop in one direction and around corner to park and fabulous coffee shop with both savory and sweet bakery options that we visited daily during our stay. The main House has everything that you need, kitchen with large table for dining and all amenities for cooking. All beds very comfortable and baths and showers wonderful. Washer dryer was so nice! We rented the main house as well as guest suite in back which was perfect for us as we were 3 adults and 2 children. The guest suite was very comfortable with queen bed private bath. And was a wonderful place to retreat in the evening . The back yard space has a large table which we used everyday! Lyndall was an exceptional host from my first communication. We arrived to breakfast food in fridge, toys and books for our kiddo’s. She made us feel welcome, love to come back!

This was a perfect base for our extended family holiday. Comfortably slept 8 of us. Well equipped. Jarrod provided great instructions. Close to train station which made trips to city a breeze

We had a fantastic stay! The location is excellent, the house was spotless, and Tara and Claire were incredibly responsive and accommodating hosts. We especially appreciated the pet-friendly aspect, as we were travelling with our two dogs, and the courtyard was perfect for them. It’s worth noting, as mentioned in the listing, that the house is their family home, which is reflected in the children’s bedrooms and some personal items throughout. This didn’t affect our stay at all, but it’s good to keep in mind. Thank you for hosting us!

We really enjoyed our stay. Penny was super responsive and helpful when I contacted her. The home was spacious and having a kitchen and laundry was so handy for us considering our week long stay. The location was perfect for getting to the Australian Open and plenty of great options for Vietnamese food in particular.

Such a great house for a family to stay in. Open space was ideal, lounge and kitchen perfect for all of us being together. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Can’t fault the house at all, hope we stay again in the future!

Excellent spot here. This is my second stay and would absolutely stay again. Great apartment with all the amenities you need. The location in Carlton is spectacular and right near anything you'd need such as restaurants and supermarkets. Great for a longer stay in needed. Delightful and helpful hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The location was fantastic—conveniently close to both the tram and metro stations, and within walking distance of numerous restaurants and parks. The rooftop was a highlight, offering stunning views of the city, especially during the New Year festivities. Kim was an excellent host, always responsive and helpful with any questions we had about the property. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Victoria’s place was perfect for what we needed, i.e attending an event at St Hilda. Apartment was neat and well maintained. Also liked the parking space. It’s close to many great Italian restaurants in Lygoon.

Beautiful home with great responsive hosts. If anything the photos did it injustice. Great location next to the station and Chapel St, walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. The home was fully equipped with everything you needed amenity wise and with condiments. Only negative things to mention was that there were some noisy neighbours in the morning but not every day and some cobwebs in the property and there was a mouse which appeared but I do also appreciate that this is Australia and these things come part and parcel with living here. All in all though this was a thoroughly enjoyable stay with excellent hosts and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay! House was perfect and had everything we needed. Outdoor area was lovely to enjoy on the cool mornings and evenings. Bedrooms were very spacious and beds super comfy. It was walking distance to the main street of South Melbourne with a good tram stop. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely place , easy to find location , short walk to south Melbourne markets , which are worth a visit if you don’t mind the crowds , great little coffee shop / cafe on the corner ( very close ) . Madeline was very kind with special request . All over great stay at Madeline’s place , would definitely stay again .

It is a complete and cozy little place. It has everything you need, a great location, and a great host!

Suvechas house in St Kilda was very well placed, described in the App, easy to find and check in and a great long term stay for a family of five. Good beds, fully equipped kitchen, good AC for very warm days, and large bathrooms. She proactively brought us Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree and checked in on our wellbeing several times during our six weeks stay. Warmly recommend for families!

Was so happy with our stay over the New Year! The train station is within walking distance, as well as a Woolworths. I recommend Preston Marks which was a short walk down the road. Overall very happy with our stay!
