Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Meiringen

Very pleasant weekend on the slopes of the beautiful Valais vineyard. Typical house, nicely furnished,cozy and very well equipped. Jacquesqueline and her husband are very considerate,always ready to advise you while remaining discreet. An address to remember especially now that we maneuver with our eyes closed in the alleys of the hamlet 😉

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

Daisy is a great host. Place feels like home from very first moment. Pictures don’t show the true beauty of it. Location is just amazing - beautiful nature, animals, great spots to visit, lot of things to do during the day. At night, peace and quietness, we’ve seen Milky Way every single night. Really worth visiting! Thank you Daisy for letting us use your home!

We loved everything about this place and the location! The decor and homey feeling was very inviting. It was a shame we couldn’t spend more time at the home relaxing. Such a peaceful, beautiful, and friendly environment. Also greatly appreciated how accepting the neighbors were of us. If we ever have the opportunity to go to Switzerland again we would stay here and spend more time in the local area!

Lovely house with amazing view over the lake. A house with a soul that feels cosy and welcoming, perfect for a family retreat and getting some fresh air for city folks. Very close to a stop/station of the cable train Rigibahn, so easy to access and get down to Vitznau, or up to Rigi Kaltbad and the trails up there. Caution: no car access, car must be parked down in the village. Path from cable train station to the house is quite steep, not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs or people uncomfortable with steep slopes. Apart from that, it was really a great place to stay, Lothar & Nicole are very nice hosts, easy to communicate with. We had a great time and definitely recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay here. It is located far from the city. You definitely need a car to reach the airbnb. The view of mountains and sunset and sunrise is immaculate. There’s also a lot of activities to do at the top of the Mostelberg. We would love to be here again. Sonja and Marcel are reaaaally friendly and kind. We were welcomed with heartwarming presences.❤️

Amazing magical place. Not easy to get there, but it is all worth it. Do surrounding mountains are stunning. Beat was a great host, always happy to help with a big smile . I definitely will come back again. Thanks Beat!

We had a super great weekend at the chalet! Unfortunately only a short stay but it was worth it. The accommodation was perfect for us: quiet location, away from the noise, large garden for our dog, parking right by the house. It was just great - and the fresh snow made the stay even better:)) Everything was as described, you feel very homely and comfortable in the cabin. Communication was great, friendly, clear instructions, and quick to respond to messages. We will definitely be back!! Thanks to the hosts

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful apartment with breathtaking views. We stayed with five adults and two kids, and were super happy with everything the apartment offered. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything needed. The hotel was not operating during our visit, so it was generally very calm and we had the pool just for ourselves. We would definetly stay there again.

The view from the apartment is just stunning. You can find everything you need in this little apartment. (Apart from a washing machine which was not a problem for us as we stayed only 3 nights) Francesca was so helpful and responsive. I cannot comment about how to get there without a car as we travelled by car. I definitely recommend this place.

Staying at Ann-Sofie's place exceeded our expectations. Spacious apartment that feels like home and not an Airbnb place. The view through the window was stunning and we enjoyed the fire place very much after walks in the snow in the mountains. Sparkling clean bathroom and kitchen. Kitchen equipped with everything one might need for a comfortable stay. Amazing selection of teas and spices. Would definitely stay myself there again and would recommend wholeheartedly.

We had a fabulous stay. We were central to all of the places we wanted to visit. We did public transportation all over Switzerland. Adrian was always in communication with me quickly, since the time I booked the flat, nine months the ago. This was our first international trip, and we were very happy to have such a warm welcome with all of the questions. The flat was beautiful and peaceful. It rained a couple days, but the terrace was still great to sit outside with a blanket and heater. The hot tub was great after a day of running around site seeing. We truly appreciate our first experience in Switzerland.

we had a great time at Myles appartement. we went during the swiss automne vacation. its à bit rainy. but it did not stop us from doing hikes with the kids. we had a great time. thanks

Thank you so much for this stay! The place is great, the walks are nice and we were right next to the ski slopes, restaurants and train station. The parking space is really right next door. ( and the sofa that lifts up the legs is very nice at the end of the day😅) A two-seater blanket would just be a little extra for couples 😇

Hello, first of all, I would like to thank Martin, who was great with us and he was friendly and helpful, and he was also cooperative, as he met our desires faster than lightning. Secondly, the place itself is beautiful for the dimension of a panoramic view of the magnificent Adelbodine Mountains. We really pleased everything as it was in the pictures, as well as everything like what we expected, and more than that, really, I will come back again I recommend it and even insist on it while you close your eyes because you will be amazed at the beauty of the treatment and the place Thanks again, Martin, you're the best. 👍🏻👍🏻

Very nice place, inside and out with a panoramic view visible from the dining table when you open the door of the accommodation! The apartment is very well renovated with taste and very fully equipped. The welcome from the owners was warm at our late hour on the premises.

Beautiful surroundings, post bus right at your doorstep. (This is how you can leave the car.) Large house, fully equipped with everything you need! Scorpions can be expected:-) very nice, large outdoor area. Mike was super friendly, will get back to you right away. Absolutely uncomplicated handover. We have enjoyed our holidays!

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We loved the place! It was the perfect place to see Switzerland with hiking nearby and the most beautiful view of the mountains on the water. We would definitely stay there again and are very grateful for Rafael being a wonderful host. He cleared the snow on the road to the house and was very responsive when we had questions. The fireplace was awesome and the place was so cozy!

This home was absolutely stunning! The views from the large windows were magnificent, offering breathtaking scenery throughout the day. The spacious rooms and multiple eating areas were perfect for our group, providing plenty of space to relax and dine together. The recent remodeling added a fresh, modern touch, making the home feel both comfortable and luxurious. We loved the friendly cows that greeted us each morning-it was such a charming and unique experience. The drive to the house was a bit of an adventure, but totally worth it for the peaceful, secluded setting. While the Wifi was spotty at times, it actually gave us the chance to unplug and spend more quality time with family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful getaway!

My family and I had a great time staying at Jacqueline's house. Everything was very well organized and tidy. The kitchen , living room , and bedrooms were cleaned , fully equipped with all the necessities ,and suitable for 8 people. The area surrounding the house was amazing and suitable for walking with the outside garden and BBQ area. Jacqueline was very helpful and quick to respond to our requests. I would be happy to visit the house again I highly recommend staying at Jacqueline's house. Thank you Jacqueline 😊

We had a wonderful stay. The house is very nice, clean and cozy with great amenities. The hot tub was a highlight, as was the fireplace in the living room. We slept excellently in the comfortable beds. Thank you so much to our great hosts for the unforgettable weekend!

Excellent stay at this chalet des Préalpes Fribourgeoises, ideally located in a peaceful setting. Thierry is a particularly attentive and warm host, always ready to help. Its self check-in system is very convenient, allowing us to arrive late with peace of mind. The cottage is well equipped (fondue equipment, games, books), but it is important to note that it visibly serves as a personal residence for Thierry. The large presence of personal belongings, much more numerous than in the photos, can surprise, even if it adds an authentic touch to the stay. Small downside on cleanliness: correct but not perfect, including a cigarette smell when we arrived despite the no smoking.

The Villa was a very cozy villa , the neighborhood was so peaceful , and beautiful, the rooms were amazing the house was perfect for our big family, I will definitely book the villa again if we visit Switzerland.
