House vacation rentals in Mayagüez

The house itself was stunning, fully equipped with everything you could need for a beach vacation. The host provided a closet filled with coolers, beach blankets and scuba diving gear. Every morning, we stepped out the front door and were greeted by the beautiful ocean right in front of us, what a way to start the day! The house had a cozy vibe, and we did feel right at home in many ways. A few aspects that left us a bit disappointed. We expected a bit more privacy during our stay, but the host was on the property almost the entire time. She greeted us every morning and several other times during our stay. She swam in the pool; despite having told it would be just for us to use. This made us feel uncomfortable about using the pool. Another issue was the water temperature. We were only able to take one hot shower the entire time we were there. The water remained ice cold, which was a significant inconvenience. Especially after long days spent in the sun. I recommend with more privacy.

We absolutely loved this home and plan to come back. It was perfect for our family. We loved hanging out by the pool or walking down to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. We easily found everything we needed to cook meals for the family. The entire Puerto Rican Island lost power while we were there, but we did not even notice at first because the home has a generator that kicked on automatically when the power went out Thank you for hosting us.

Other than the noise from people leaving the bars at the beach on a Friday night, this is a great place to stay. We could not be more happy to have picked such a beautiful place in Rincon. The Black Eagle Beach is just a short walk. Steps Beach is up the ways a bit (but walkable). We spent a lot of time on the beaches. And when we got back to the unit, it was so comfortable. The only things I wish was available was some instructions on how to get the television remotes to work as well as the AC unit controls.

We had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bedrooms were cozy, and the outdoor space was peaceful and inviting. Our host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend for a relaxing family retreat!

Stunningly beautiful space in a serene setting. Waking up to the pool and neighboring animals every morning was magical. Away from the busier areas of Rincón, but still extremely close by car to beaches, restaurants, and bars! Wonderful stay!

Family and I had an amazing time. They have (4) Queen Beds and (4) Twin Bunk Beds. You can fit 8 adults on the Queens with no problem and 8 kids on the bunk beds easy. A few nights we were able to see the bioluminescence in the Lagoon which made staying here worth it. They have Ping Pong Table, Volley ball net, Pickleball, Bikes for the kids, Outside Bluetooth Stereo, Dominoes Tables and the best part was the POOL. The kids never wanted to leave the house because of the pool. Its close to the gas station and 20 min away from Walmart. They have a washer but no Dryer. You can hang your clothes outside. Its is the best place for LARGE parties. Price was very reasonable if you spit it amongst the families. It's also gated so you feel safe. I Highly Recommend!!!!

Booked for my family with the goal of staying in Añasco near my girlfriend's childhood home. Quiet, peaceful, far enough from the main street so it is not too loud. Large backyard with pool that we really enjoyed. The house is spacious and has a lot of miscellaneous household items that we really appreciated and found very useful - such as cookware, silverware, plates and cups, seasonings and oils, pillows, blankets, towels, etc. 10 min from Rincon and Mayaguez. 30 min from Aguadilla airport.

Excellent location and accommodations at the villa. Couple of nearby restaurants to walk to, beach within a 3 minute walk. Near the boat ramp, there's a small cove area to swim that keeps the larger waves at bay. Air conditioning in the bedroom kept the main rooms at a cold enough temp. Would definitely rent again, thanks Raul!

This a wonderful place to stay with an amazing view. Our host was attentive and caring. The instructions to get to the place are very detailed. There was a power outage during our stay but other that that. We had a great time. The location is fantastic and the ocean view was amazing.

We had a great time staying at Enid’s AirBnb! It was comfy, practical, and exactly as advertised. Loved the outdoor space with an outdoor shower as we were going to the beach every day. Great value :) thank you, Enid!!

Wilson and Christine were amazing hosts. We were there during Ernesto and they worked incredibly hard to make sure the property was ready for us in spite of the storm. They are extremely responsive and helpful as hosts and their property is exceptional. The apartments had everything we needed and more. Between the gazebo, firepit, kayaks, volleyball, and beachfront access, there was something for everyone. My family was comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyed every amenity that the property had to offer. We have already decided that we can't wait to return again for a longer stay.

Beautiful home. Very easy to locate and close to beach. Great local restaurants. Very close to Rincón for surfing, beautiful beach’s, and wonderful views to see sunsets. Definitely recommend staying here.

La Casa del Surfer was a perfect way to experience Rincon! Wonderful house and property and felt like an authentic experience. Very short walk to a beautiful beach and about 3/4 mile walk into Rincon. Robert was incredibly friendly and responsive to any needs with plenty of recommendations for local points of interest. Lemuel’s house was the perfect spot for us to stay for our family vacation! I can tell he has gone through a great deal of planning and preparation to make his house an exceptional Airbnb rental. The wall around his property gives the location a very secluded and safe feeling. I don’t know if I’ve ever stayed in such a spacious-feeling rental before! We were a group of 8, but could have slept an additional 3-4 people if needed. There is tons of living space and outdoor patio space with very nice furniture. Plenty of towels and well-stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, and having laundry facilities was a huge plus! Location is a short 5 minute walk to a mostly deserted beautiful beach. There are roadside food stands 2 doors down for quick meals, and a nice restaurant on the ocean one block away. The AC units drown out the road noise. Lemuel was VERY responsive when the entire country lost power, and checked in on us, plus we had solar power electricity back up! The pool was great!

We had an absolutely fantastic week at Janet’s condo. Everything was described perfectly, communication was fast and efficient. Our family loved being able to snorkel right out front at the rock reef, finding brain coral, star fish, angel fish and a host of other species. We had two power grid failures but Janet communicated swiftly and they honestly did not affect our trip at all. Highly recommend this spot!

PHENOMENAL! The property is beautiful, and it was great for our family vacation. The private apartments allowed for privacy and rest for all 16 of us. Each apartment has everything you need. The pool was terrific! We did not leave the house for the first two days. The hotel bar & restaurant are just a few steps from the house, and the food was delicious. The mofongo kept us going back for more. We honestly can’t say enough about how amazing all of the staff was!! We had excellent communication with Kassandra before we arrived. She helped us coordinate a cocktail hour and anniversary dinner for 16 guests. The table was spectacular and beautifully decorated. We had an incredible sunset, and she stopped by to meet us and wish us a happy anniversary. Her family has owned the hotel for three generations, and their commitment to service is evident even before you arrive. The entire staff went out of their way to provide excellent service and made our dinner and stay memorable. This property is exceptional! You can tell it is family-owned, and they care about their guests. The staff greeted us with big smiles, and we loved talking to the team and getting to know them. I wish I could remember everyone’s names, I’m sure I’m missing a few, but a special thank you to Kassandra, Kenneth, Hector, Kaymie, and Leslie!! We will be back to Villa Cofresí & to Casa Pirata. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Tim was an amazing host and the Palacio Blanco location is a hidden gem in the Cabo Rojo area. Tim kept us informed of the electric power conditions affecting the entire island and also of the benefit of wisely managing solar energy providing power to his location. The Palace was very welcoming and peaceful, plus very reliable and comfortable during the power grid conditions that we are not used to deal with back home! Lastly, we visited the Playuela beach which is very close to Tim's Palace and besides the amazing sunsets and tranquil environment that we experienced, we also enjoyed the many Mom and Pop's culinary venues within close distance of the Palace. Thank you for hosting us, Tim. Until the next time!

Casa Bomberos was amazing. True to what is advertised. A spectacular, secluded locaton. Although there are neighbors on both sides of, it feels like you are staying out in the country. The house is spacious. We had 9 and there was room for at least 2 more. All in all, I would highly recommend staying at Casa Bombero.

The property was outstanding. The house and surrounding gardens are beautiful and well-maintained. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped as well as the outdoor grill and dining area. The linens were very comfortable and plenty were available. An extra set of beach towels was a real plus. The pool and pool area was an oasis lending itself to privacy. We also loved the roof terrace. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend it very highly to anyone considering Rincón.

Great place. We rented both upstairs and downstairs. Very spacious. Only negative is the upstairs bedroom with the private bathroom the beds were so hard we couldnt sleep on them plus the bathroom had no water pressure. Luckily we had access to the whole house so our family members were able to sleep in another room and shower in the other bathrooms but as a couple, I was really looking forward to having my own room and bathroom.

This home was exactly like the pictures! It was a beautiful, spacious and had alot of things to keep everyone entertained. The secluded property allows for peace and quiet and the outdoor space was perfect for the PR weather. Thank you for a great experience.
