House vacation rentals in Mayagüez

My Mom and I took a trip to Puerto Rico and stayed a week at Casa Birdsong hosted by Mary and Jim. Check in was easy. The space was clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds and furniture and all amenities as described. Always found everything we needed and they provided plenty of things one might accidentally forget to bring. The private pool was a huge plus and it was quite large. Good ocean view from the patio and pool as well. There is a small road in between the property and the ocean, but the road was never very busy, so not an issue. Lots of walkable restaurants that had great food, good prices, and fantastic ocean views. The immediate beach is not the best for swimming, but there’s an accessible one about 1km South and if you have a car there are several amazing ones within a 30-40 or so minute drive. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a great house for our trip and we loved the pool!

Great location. Very short walk to restaurants/bars/and beach. Less than a mile drive to almost everything in Rincõn. Private pool/patio/outdoor shower is great. No problems parking at all. Very safe location as well. Would highly recommend, and would stay again. Erick was very easy to get in touch with and very accommodating.

Juan’s place was perfect for our family of 4. The location was right in the marina area of Rincon. 2 min walk to Black Eagle Beach and a couple of restaurants/bars. Easy drive to downtown Rincon and all beaches in Rincon are within a 10 min drive - Steps, Domes, Sandy Beach…also a nice community pool with a good mix of renters and owners in the community. We felt extremely safe and comfortable. Juan was extremely responsive and even proactive when there was Tsunami warning (locals said this never happens) our first night there. We would recommend checking out Juan’s place!

Such a great house and space. So much room for everyone to spread out. Lovely privacy with the greens/plants around the pool.

Our first ever Airbnb experience and it was so much better than we expected. The house was even more beautiful and larger than the photos made it seem. Our host thought of including every single thing possible that made our stay more convenient. Actually sad that we didn’t have more time to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space. And we were so happy to see the mosquito zappers so we could enjoy our time outside without bugs. It was truly amazing and such a friendly and responsive host.

Without a second thought this place should be ANYONES first decision. It’s conveniently located in an area to travel all around the west side of Puerto Rico. Hands down the best place we stayed while visiting. Had all the amenities for us to be comfortable at the beach and at the house. Beyond happy with our decision.

enid is a beautiful soul. i felt so welcomed by her warmth. i traveled alone and i immediately felt as i had a friend in enid. my checkin was a bit disconnected as there were some technical difficulties with airbnb. enid was patient, flexible, and kind throughout it all. i booked last minute and she was extremely gracious about my timeline. thank you enid for making me feel like family.

Wilson and Christine were amazing hosts. We were there during Ernesto and they worked incredibly hard to make sure the property was ready for us in spite of the storm. They are extremely responsive and helpful as hosts and their property is exceptional. The apartments had everything we needed and more. Between the gazebo, firepit, kayaks, volleyball, and beachfront access, there was something for everyone. My family was comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyed every amenity that the property had to offer. We have already decided that we can't wait to return again for a longer stay.

Rental was as described; clean, comfortable, private. Nice outdoor covered patio. Basic beach supplies available, and laundry on-site. Comfortable stay for family of 5.

Absolutely amazing stay! The home was spotless, stylish, and the private pool was so much fun! It was clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. Relaxing location and super responsive hosts. Host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! Even went out of her way to mail belongings left behind! We can’t wait to come back! Thanks for having us! 🙏🏼

Great location- about 10-12min to Rincon downtown. Appreciate Stefan giving us directions on how to get there, as they avoided most of the narrow mountain roads. Stefan was also very quick to respond. We were a group of 9 and fit comfortably, had enough kitchenware to cook breakfast both mornings. Only downside was the water temp and pressure. Pressure was great if you only had 2 showers running, but wouldn’t hold if you tried to use all 3 at the same time. Then the water temp never got hot hot, but also never cold, so good enough. Not sure how much control the host has over these two factors. Overall would recommend- the balcony was a great place to hang with the group.

Robert was a wonderful host! He checked in on us, offered great suggestions around town and even gave us advice on what to do on a rainy day! He was attentive and very quick to respond, flexible with us and put in the extra effort to ensure we had a wonderful stay. His place was very clean, stocked with fresh clean linens, towels, beach towels and blankets. The place really felt like home for the time we stayed there! And he was right by the beach, walking distance and it was absolutely beautiful with a variety of different activities from swimming, beach yoga, paddle boarding, surfing, snorkeling and boating. There was an abundance of fun activities for us to do during our stay! 110/10 recommend! We would definitely stay with Robert again! 🫶🏝️☀️

We had an absolutely fantastic week at Janet’s condo. Everything was described perfectly, communication was fast and efficient. Our family loved being able to snorkel right out front at the rock reef, finding brain coral, star fish, angel fish and a host of other species. We had two power grid failures but Janet communicated swiftly and they honestly did not affect our trip at all. Highly recommend this spot!

PHENOMENAL! The property is beautiful, and it was great for our family vacation. The private apartments allowed for privacy and rest for all 16 of us. Each apartment has everything you need. The pool was terrific! We did not leave the house for the first two days. The hotel bar & restaurant are just a few steps from the house, and the food was delicious. The mofongo kept us going back for more. We honestly can’t say enough about how amazing all of the staff was!! We had excellent communication with Kassandra before we arrived. She helped us coordinate a cocktail hour and anniversary dinner for 16 guests. The table was spectacular and beautifully decorated. We had an incredible sunset, and she stopped by to meet us and wish us a happy anniversary. Her family has owned the hotel for three generations, and their commitment to service is evident even before you arrive. The entire staff went out of their way to provide excellent service and made our dinner and stay memorable. This property is exceptional! You can tell it is family-owned, and they care about their guests. The staff greeted us with big smiles, and we loved talking to the team and getting to know them. I wish I could remember everyone’s names, I’m sure I’m missing a few, but a special thank you to Kassandra, Kenneth, Hector, Kaymie, and Leslie!! We will be back to Villa Cofresí & to Casa Pirata. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless and very well-maintained. The area is peaceful, with a great vibe, and it’s super close to the beaches—perfect for daily visits. The comfort of the space made it feel like a true home away from home. Highly recommend

Tim was an amazing host and the Palacio Blanco location is a hidden gem in the Cabo Rojo area. Tim kept us informed of the electric power conditions affecting the entire island and also of the benefit of wisely managing solar energy providing power to his location. The Palace was very welcoming and peaceful, plus very reliable and comfortable during the power grid conditions that we are not used to deal with back home! Lastly, we visited the Playuela beach which is very close to Tim's Palace and besides the amazing sunsets and tranquil environment that we experienced, we also enjoyed the many Mom and Pop's culinary venues within close distance of the Palace. Wow! What can I say. The house surpassed our expectations. It was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back.

Lindsay’s place is incredible - highly recommend! The house and amenities are amazing - the outdoor pool area is well kept and each of the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. There’s a nice outdoor dining area that was nice to have in the evenings. The house itself is well equipped and had everything we needed. The location is also very convenient for getting to the main beaches. FYI - the road to the driveway is steep and can be hard to see both ways when trying to turn out (this is pretty standard for many side roads Rincon). Would stay here again!

Amazing place, quiet and peaceful very beautiful patio area. Place is in amazing condition, clean and smells super great! Stayed there for our first year anniversary and we would most definitely be staying again.
