Bungalow vacation rentals in Mauritius

We spent a wonderful week with our two children (9 and 7 years) in this home. The beautiful garden, the communal pool, just across the street and already on the beach, safe vacation home accommodation and the great area with many excursion destinations already appealed to us in the advertisement. Everything was even better on site. We would particularly like to emphasize the daily house service, the possibility to cook with Banon or to be cooked for, the friendly communication with Pascaline and the impeccably clean apartment. We recommend this place without reservation. Since it was partly rainy weather, we also had to eat inside in the living/dining room, as the table and chairs outside are not covered. That's what the covered lounge area is for.

Peace Haven is a beautiful villa. Marine the cleaner was so kind and helpful and myself and my guests had a wonderful time at the villa.

My teenagers and I had a marvelous time at Koraya Lodge. We hired a 4x4 and had a brilliant time exploring the island and kitesurfing. Benoit very kindly put us in touch with Ahfye, who made us our dinner and dropped it off every evening. What an absolute treat! Everything was perfect: the house, the peaceful environment, Angelique (Benoit’s mother who lives next door and was very helpful).

What a great location of the property. Every day started with a great sunrise from bed. The view from the bedroom is breathtaking,even at night the starry sky is great. Then breakfast on the terrace overlooking the water. The beach is quite nice. You can snorkel directly. It is paradise and tops all the beach holidays we have taken so far.

Brilliant location and beautiful little bungalow Stayed for 5 nights with my wife, was the perfect amount of space and privacy yet only 20 meters to a beautiful beach! Francene and Jean Francois (the owners who live in the front property) were lovely and welcoming, happy to have a chat and answer any questions. Also let us use their 2 person kayak to paddle over to the dolphins in the bay nearby. The area has nice restaurants within walking distance but no real bars or nightlife that we could see. Take caution walking down the road at night, there's not much room and cars drive quite fast through that section of road.

Cynthia gave us the very useful information during the cycmonic period. We would have met with Cynthia to share with her in person. In any case, we recommend this accommodation to you in all aspects.

We stayed for more than two months at Hari's Airbnb, we were very well received by Hari and his wife. The airbnb is well located two minutes from the beach and a small grocery store, functional kitchen, very nice balcony. Accommodation two minutes from transportation to visit Mauritius. This place is well secured, we felt safe. Hari is a responsive host if needed. We would definitely recommend it!

Wonderful hosts who were responsive and took the time to make me feel at home. The apartment itself was perfect for me as a solo traveller. Location is great, especially for kite surfing and hiking. Highly recommended!

Very attentive hosts had prepared the traditional meal despite our late arrival... informed us of the news of the island as the stay progressed (public holiday, shops closed... etc.) Compliant accommodation and a little extra... the pool nearby... I recommend it.

The location was beyond our expectations. Very nice view, very peaceful place and very well located. The hosts are very welcoming and responsive at all hours, it's really appreciated. Breakfast included is a real plus and quality. Thank you for your service.

Had a lovely stay here. Helped me with an early check- in and booking a taxi early morning. Location is right close to pereybere Beach .. restaurants bus stop everything really close by. Anish was really kind and sent us some croissants and chocolate roll for breakfast which my kids really enjoyed.

My stay was amazing! I am very thankful to Natasha, who was very helpful throughout my stay. There was plenty of space...I would say almost too big for one person, but absolutely perfect for a family. When I come back, I will definitely be reaching out to the owner again.

Chill Pill was exactly what we were after – a place with charm, peaceful and in easy distance of Blue Bay. We were in the villa which was perfect for us – a couple travelling with one child so we could have a bedroom each. The beds were extremely comfortable. The plunge pool was a lovely bonus. We self-catered with everything we needed (cafietiere and coffee machine included) but you can have breakfast & lunch there for an additional cost if you like, also some trips. In the evenings we ate out at some of the local restaurants – would recommend L'Ajoupa & Saveurs de shin for Chinese. Lots of people mentioned Chez Marilyn as well but it was closed when we were there. The beautiful Blue Bay is only 10 mins on a bus from near the guesthouse (just note that the last bus back is 5:30pm after which there are taxis you can take). The departure point for Il au aigrettes is nearby to (though I'd book well advance for that). Mahebourg feels authentically Mauritian and a good base for the South

Home from home, elegant, minimal, but perfectly equipped for our needs. Lovely pool, great service staff. We will definitely be back with other family. Thank you David & Anna. And a big thank you to Daleda, who was fabulous in every way.
