Gorgeous place steps from the beach! The view from the roof was a highlight with 360 views of the mountains and red tile roofs all around. The kitchen was gorgeous and spacious. We loved our stay. There was no A/C but this was not an issue as we would just open windows in the morning to let in some fresh ocean breeze. Might be something to be aware of in hotter months.

Tao was very flexible and adapted our check in and check out time to accommodate a perfect family holiday reunion. So grateful for his hospitality. The house sits right on the marina and it’s tranquil and convenient.

Pros: +Great communication with host +The cabin is lovely, in a beautiful area, great for nature and quiet time +The cabin is cozy and well equipped Cons: -The only con is that we didn't like the bedrooms very much. The beds are a bit small. The downstairs bedroom doesn't have any closet space available for guests and is a bit cramped. No blackout curtains, just blinds that let through a lot of light.

Debra was so kind and gracious as a host, and she did everything she could to help us navigate the community and encouraged us to feel comfortable in her space. In fact, she really made a strong effort to ensure that we were comfortable, from clearing out the pellet stove to ensure it was working properly to having internet that I could take with me as I carried out my activities in PMC. My favorite spot was the little patio in the back, which I loved venturing onto in the morning.

I don't usually write reviews but this one I had to. This was the absolute PERFECT place to stay for our long weekend in Santa Barbara. It was quiet yet very walkable to the beach and various restaurants and shops in downtown Santa Barbara. It was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Garage access was also helpful for our rental car. We would absolutely stay here again.

Pac's place has been one of my favorite places to stay in Carp!! The location is perfect, so close to the beach and restaurants. There were plenty of supplies including bikes, boogie boards...too many things to list!! I can't wait to come back to Pac's place!!!

Modern Rustic Retreat is a beautiful space with amazing views! It was perfect for our family vacation (husband, myself, baby, dogs, grandparents). We spent a week here and felt right at home. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and located conveniently near hiking trails, shopping, and food. Highly recommended for a southern CA family getaway, staycation, work from home location.

The studio space is very spacious and very nicely decorated, and there is lovely outdoor space as well. Bathroom is modern, large, and nice,. Michelle was super-responsive about several issues. The location (tucked away in the hills above Goleta) was perfect for us, as we had family close by.
