Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Matanzas

Very spacious and clean house. Fantastic AC. Quiet neighborhood and within 5 minutes of great breakfast, lunch, and dinner spots straight down the road. The nice beach is a bit further of a walk, about 10 minutes away and begins at about where the street "458 A" intersects the ocean (head east from there). Dona Idania was, our host was the best. Super friendly, helpful, and proactive. We felt right at home during our stay here.

Unbeatable value for money. Lovely and kind people. we spent 1 month in cuba after Hurricane Rafael, where it was very difficult to find accommodation with electricity and cooking facilities, but in leydy everything worked! you can book with your eyes closed ;)

It was a pleasure staying with Pedro, his home is lovely and easy walking to the main street and restaurants while being removed from any noise. It is a challenge to get the basics in Cuba and Pedro was instrumental in assisting us and was very proactive in supplying water without our asking. Breakfasts were lovely (the mango is sorely missed now that we are home) and even more so when you consider the work it takes for him to source that food for four. Please be mindful if you are visiting Cuba, he served us juice our first day, which none of us really drink, and we told him that was not necessary thereafter. Do not be wasteful, everything is precious in Cuba.

We really enjoyed staying here. Communication was excellent, the house was cleaned well before we arrived and we were very comfortable during our stay. This home is private, off the beaten path and gated with a beautifully manicured outdoor garden 🪴, patio and pool. The mango and coconut trees are gorgeous and the host allowed us to pick and eat the ripe fruit. We really enjoyed that! This house is perfect for family gatherings and even has a big pit for grilling. The home is about a 10 min drive from the beach and any restaurants so make sure you have a car. The kids enjoyed chasing the lizards, watching the chickens and roosters as well as putting the rabbits in their cage in the back yard. We will plan to return here the next time we visit Varadero.

We had a wonderful stay at Janet's house with the whole family and friends. Everyone, but especially the children enjoyed the pool, and casí every day we went to the sea, until it's 2 min walk. Thank you very much to Lianet and her husband for their hospitality, they were always ready to help us.

We had a really great stay. The place is just next to the beach. You walk through a small patch of grass and you are on the beach. Alberto is a real gem. He is incredibly kind and helpful. He is willing to help in any way he can. Our stay was way too short. We arrived in the afternoon and had to leave early in the morning. Alberto arranged a taxi for us to get us to the airport. The driver arrived right on time. It all went very smoothly. I would definitely stay again!

Hello, the price quality report perfect condition near tourist city and in the middle of local life Giselle is very available and discreet and very well organized.

This was our second time staying here and will definitely be back soon! The location being just outside Varadero makes it an enjoyable walk and there are many restaurants and things to do and enjoy right next to the Airbnb. The host was very helpful and understanding of the hot weather that has been going on and usually had a generator running to keep us cool at night. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Dainery is an absolutely fantastic person, you feel like coming home to your mother or a close friend. Dainery helped with everything we need even went with us to the market to help buy fruits because we don't speak Spanish. The house is very comfortable, clean, you have private garden to enjoy. Have seen hummingbirds that have come to the garden. Amazingly equipped kitchen. Very close to the sea, restaurants, bakery, patisserie. Wi-Fi is available. Best vacation I've had in a long time. Happy to recommend and we plan to come back.

Wonderful couple and hosts. A special place and we really enjoyed the working class town and beach. Beautiful sea and sand but yes here folks leave cans and beach rubbish and there is music at night. But it was real and authentic the town where Cuban Families come to swim and enjoy. We loved it. Thanks so much Gabriel and Maria! You are special people.

I had a wonderful stay with Gabriel and Maria. I was traveling by myself and looking for a place I could relax and not worry. Gabriel and Maria were so helpful and made sure I had everything I needed to have a comfortable trip. The apartment is well-appointed and has a beautiful view of the sea. They were so gracious when I asked to have a flexible check in/check out due to my flights. They provided me with a map with the best restaurants and beaches. They called me a taxi when I wanted to go to a nearby beach and they when I needed to go back to the city. I cannot recommend this place enough and I would love to come back soon!

Everything is very good. The apartment fits the description and photos of the ad, it is in good condition, it is clean and very comfortable and cozy. It's located steps from the beach. It has wide views towards the sea and the beach from the rooftop terrace. Hosts are very friendly and at all times willing to provide help and information.

I had a lovely time here at Ernesto’s place. I was always treated so kindly along with excellent service. I felt very well informed of any possible occurrences and was made to feel very welcome. If I had any questions or concerns, they were sorted out instantly. I had a very happy and safe stay here. When I come to Càrdenas again, I would love to rebook!
