Vacation rentals with a kayak in Massanutten

This is our third time at Jennifer's Airbnb, and we can't wait to go again. The house itself is wonderful. The area is gorgeous. And Jennifer is a great host. Can't recommend enough.

We stayed at Kristin’s home for a Thanksgiving get away. The home was exactly as listed, cozy and comfortable! The side yard and fenced in deck were very convenient for our dog. The kitchen was very well stocked, and Kristin even ordered a griddle for us when I inquired about one before our stay. Kristin was responsive to our needs and questions and even surprised us by decorating the house for the holidays. We would definitely stay here again!

Hiker's paradise. The house was perfect for us to share with our adult children and their partners. The main living area was very comfortable for us to spend time together and the bedroom layout gave everyone the proper space. The views were gorgeous and the house was extremely well appointed. As avid hikers, we loved having two different Shenandoah National Park trailheads within a mile or so of the house. And access to Old Rag and Whiteoak Canyon were only a 15-20 minute drive away. We enjoyed wearing ourselves out then returning to a fantastic house! One more thing, we'd highly recommend visiting during the winter. Without the leaf coverage, views from both the house and trails were amazing. The summer/fall tourist crush over meant we shared the trails with critters rather than the human masses. Even hiking Old Rag on a Saturday we only saw 15 other hikers. Great house that we highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Adam’s house! The house is lovely, cozy, clean, very well decorated with everything you need. You have an amazing view on the garden with a small river, beautiful. Adam is a great communicator and answers all of your questions.

We have traveled to Shenandoah several times and this was by far our favorite trip. Gary’s place is a perfect getaway - everything you could want to do (fire pit, river and canoes [for warmer weather], hot tub, great deck for stargazing). We appreciated modern conveniences, including dishwasher and washer/dryer, which we do not always see at AirB&Bs in this area. The yard and home are also extremely pet friendly. The home is isolated enough where we were able to let our pups off leash with total comfort for the first time ever. Will definitely be favoriting and would love to go back. Highly recommend! We wanted to do something different for Thanksgiving this year so we found a nice little cabin and brought our dogs. This cabin was perfect for the kids and dogs, because there was a fence. You can hear the traffic from the road but it’s not bad! It’s very quiet but you’re close to a Walmart and food places. The fireplace was a huge hit for our family. We used it everyday. It was just big enough to hold our family of 5 and two pups. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day!

We had a great stay at Ryanne and Jay’s! My kids absolutely loved the loft area and playing in the backyard. We were able to walk across the street to Arrowhead Lake and let the kids play on the playground, which was also a huge hit. Everywhere we wanted to go was about 10-15 minutes away, which was so convenient. We would definitely return!!!

This is a wonderful home with lots of history. The house is nicely modernized, comfortable for large groups, and has tons of outdoor space. Great for family meals, reading by the fire, and everything you hope from a country retreat.

We loved our stay here! So dog-friendly and beautiful surroundings. We joked that we wanted to live somewhere just like it! Everything was very clean and well-stocked. Would totally visit again!

The house was well appointed and comfortable. The property was very quiet and great for our two dogs. They went in the pond and had fun exploring the property.

We had a great time! My two kids loved the upstairs play area. The home is beautiful and was perfect for our family. We had some trouble navigating the TVs (remote did not seem to work for main bedroom and we couldn't get the living room TV to stream), but Kinga was super responsive to any questions. We enjoyed nearby Woodstock Cafe for breakfast and exploring GW National Park. The location and setting was perfect for our short getaway and we hope to come back next year.

Timber Creek - Riverfront was great…location is amazing…in the mountains near Shenandoah National Park and right on the river. The house had everything you’d need to spend a great holiday. Zoe and team were super responsive leading up to and throughout the trip. I couldn’t recommend Timber Creek any higher. You’ll have an amazing time!

This place was a very spacious quiet area and great amenities. We didn’t use the lake toys because it was November but if it was warm enough we would have. The place was so comfortable and clean. It literally has everything we needed for a 3 day stay. I could t ask for more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Cesar's home is a lovely river get away with beautiful views from the deck and relaxing fire pit near the water to sit and enjoy the river.

This cute cabin on the river was just the relaxing weekend spot we needed! The photos do not do it justice. It is not nearly as dark in the cabin as it looks - during the day it’s flooded with light and at night there are plenty of lights to see that it is immaculately clean. Some things for city folks like us: be aware cell phone service was very sketchy & often non-existent (we have AT&T phone & Verizon in car); there is only cable & no way to log in to your streaming services so download whatever you want to watch there; there are no books there to discover new authors or whatnot, so bring your own books. That said, we never left the cabin! We sat by the river and read, watched the water, talked, made meals in the well-stocked kitchen, & enjoyed our step back from crazy life. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

Very responsive host. You can hear the train regularly and cars do go very quickly down the road but the river view is great.

The stay was amazing - it was exactly as described. We had a wonderful time getting away up into the mountains. Our family had a great time and especially loved the zip line and hot tub. Views from the fire pit are really incredible.

We loved our stay at the Green Castle cabin! Plenty of space for a family getaway with canoes, a fire pit, hot tub, and of course, the beautiful river. The river was the perfect temperature and shallow enough for us to walk across. We saw plenty of wildlife and were able to get the canoes past the rocks to boat up river. We’d recommend this place to anyone!

We enjoyed the stay for Christmas and the lights and tree already put up put us in a great holiday spirit.
