Vacation rentals with a kayak in Masaya

You are paying for the location. The location and the size of the property cannot be beat. There’s plenty of room for kids to run around. It is clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had a new sponge which hasn’t been the case at other Airbnbs. And the pool is quite nice! It would be nice if there were a few more kitchen amenities like lids for the pots and seasonings. It would also be nice if the trash in the yard was picked up in case there are children running around barefoot. There were some pop tops/bottle tops. But you cannot beat how close it is to the water. It felt like a private resort.

I arrived to Nicaragua after dark on Nov. 17. I rented a small SUV from the airport and headed directly to the property. It was a little over 1.5 hours due to rain and muddy roads. The BEST address to help navigate to the property is the address that belongs to "Burrito Bandido Nicaragua". I was a bit confused but once I put this address in it was a breeze from there. The property is very cute and private! Full kitchen, Full refrigerator, COLD A/C in every room, very clean, cute and appropriate decor and furniture. Bathroom did not have warm water but honestly I didn't mind. NO Bugs or critters whatsoever! Chris - Margelly's son, speaks English and manages the property. Very professional, friendly and sweet. He was extremely helpful with check-in/checkout and translating between myself and the chef at the restaurant. Would definitely stay here again when traveling in the area. Isleta Tahiti was the perfect getaway with girlfriends for my birthday! We swam all day in the beautiful pool and lounged away in the hammocks and sun loungers. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and drinks for 7 people. The bedrooms are clean, though we only went in there to sleep as the surroundings are so breathtaking, you want to be outside at all times! The caretakers are lovely. My friends and I all talked about other family and friends we'd love to bring to stay in the future. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely paradise -- the house, the setting and the property are perfect. The view is priceless. Todd was a top-notch host: responsive, friendly and helpful. He was incredibly accommodating for us as we were traveling with a toddler. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and AC worked great. We wish we had stayed longer than two nights!

Brian and Mary are amazing hosts and went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. They both make delicious food, in particular, Brian’s famous bacon and egg bagel sandwich and smoothie for breakfast, it’s the best breakfast I’ve had in Nicaragua and it’s included as part of the stay. Their lunch and dinner are also tasty and priced better than restaurants. The backyard has an amazing view of Lagoon Apoyo and they have a new tiled pool to cool off. The hike to the lagoon is a bit steep but worth it to swim in the mineral rich lagoon. I highly recommend them and would stay with them again if I am in the area.

Fantastic stay, very peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful sunrise in the morning and a lovely calm environment for breakfast and enjoying the day. The pool was beautiful and it was a great chance to kayak in the lagoon, fully recommend!

Joe was a fabulous host , very attentive and quick to help solve any issues. The home is incredible and on a beautiful piece of property. The road to the home is bumpy and the driveway can be intimidating but we did it with a little car so it can be done. We loved joes home so much we'll try to get back in a few years. Nicaragua is a jewel of a destination and Joes place is worth the trip. FYI love the howler monkeys up at 430am with the roosters but you get use to it because the days are perfect weather 95% of the time.
