Vacation rentals in Maryes Heights

Margie was great. She introduced herself to my son and I right when we got there. The accommodations were excellent. Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. House sits right on a small lake in a very nice neighborhood.

My husband and I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Merryview Cottage. Everything is as pictured and described, right down to the room-darkening shades for the bedrooms, the makings for s’mores around the fire pit, and the hammock-with-a-view. For us, this Airbnb is our new favorite. Nothing can match the incredible views of the rolling hills from the porch, the soul-restoring quiet, and the sweet sounds of birds. Julie has thought of absolutely everything; I felt right at home. We had the delightful pleasure of meeting Julie and Rodney, and felt immediately like we found friends. Hope to return in the future.

Most of the time I travel with just my family but sometimes we get to travel with our labor team also. Angel and Ryan offer great accommodations for all of us. Safe relaxing, spacious and great water pressure!!! We needed extra blanket because it was colder for April the night we were there and Ryan went out of his way to make it work for us. Our team was a mix of needs and they had something for all of us. They care for their house a little extra because it has a few live thriving plants what a great way to provide the true home feeling we so appreciate after hard work and long travels. The neighbor is great ! To accommodate all my teams needs I slept on the daybed and it was actually comfortable. All slept well. Thank you much Definitely worth the short drive out of DC.

The house was cozy, accommodating and clean. The beds were very comfortable and linens were clean. It was quiet and the beach was just a short walk/golf cart ride away. If I had to make any slightly negative comment, it would be to provide more wash cloths and towels. But that was a very small detail and we just washed and reused what we had, no big deal. The owner was responsive to all our questions and accommodated a last-minute booking for us. We would definitely book this property with this owner again!

Brian was a proactive and responsive host with a beautiful cabin! The pictures did not do this space justice. If you want a slice of tranquility in the mountain this is your space. I would recommend this area and host to anyone!

Connie was super nice and responded quickly from the time of booking and throughout our stay. You can tell she is proud of her little chalet.

We had a great time here! The place is within walking distance to the lake for fishing and other activities. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and use of streaming services on the TV!

We had an amazing stay at this riverside house! The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Being so close to the water made it feel like a peaceful retreat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!

It’s an amazing stay, will go back again. I made it there with my front wheel drive sedan, but I would suggest going with a high clearance AWD SUV. I was lucky with the dry dirt and gravel road at the time I was there so I didnt get stuck, but I think it did hurt my car’s suspension a little bit lol Other than that, place is really cozy, comfy, peaceful, more than amazing views and really private.
