We had the best time ! The house has all one could need, it is really spacious and has great views. There are many things to do in the area like the reptile center, hikes around the Blyde river dam, shopping in hoedspruit, day safaris, etc. Dolf was very proactive in suggesting all the best activities, even in bad weather. There are also shops and a restaurant close by. We really felt at home as Dolf was very welcoming and shared with us the story of his family in the area.

Place is well lacated to have bush experience with luxuries. Pool was well deserved after hot day of traveling. Realy enjoyed the stay and rooms is very spacious with beautiful view of the mountain!!

We absolutely loved our 9 night stay here, it was just what we wanted. The house is set in The garden of Belinda & Cleve’s home. It’s peaceful & beautiful & very secluded. Right on the edge of Kruger a 30 K drive to Orpen gate so you can visit the park for the day. We also visited Blyde River Canyon which was a short drive away & Jessica the hippo! It’s within easy reach of Hoedspruit for shopping & restaurants. The house is spacious & comfortable with very comfy beds & nice sheets & pillows. There are good outside spaces to sit & eat & a lovely swimming pool. We stayed in & cooked every night as it was such a nice place to be. Belinda & Cleve were the nicest of hosts - very friendly & helpful & gave good advice about things to do. This is a rare find & such a lovely place to stay, it was hard to leave, we will never forget it & definitely plan to return.

Although a bit out of town, it is definitely my first choice when travelling to Phalaborwa in future.
