Vacation rentals with lake access in Marathon County

This house is wonderful for a group! Katy’s listing and pictures are accurate, but the house felt bigger than expected. Three floors with a bathroom on each. We had 10 adults and were able to spread out! We also had many options of places to gather, inside and out. It was a treat to have a large indoor table that fit all of us. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were clean, and the lake was lovely! Plus, we had the best time at nearby Knowlton House Distillery, as well as a nice lunch at the Tiki Bar & Grill. We are hoping to make a return visit as Katy and her place made for an excellent summer getaway!

The house was BEAUTIFUL! The pictures did not do it justice. If you are looking for a place put of the way this is it. There is a cute grocery store about 10 minutes from the house. It had everything we needed. The hostess was very proactive in giving instructions and responding to messages. Thank you for a great stay.

John went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Even allowed us to shift our dates last minute. Clean and comfortable home, well stocked kitchen, nice location on the lake. Loved the fireplace. Fun to ice skate there and an easy drive to Granite Peak. Cocktail recipe is a keeper! Thank you!

Nice stay! We loved being on the lake with all of the provided paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat. The place itself is adorable and was super clean. We found plenty of useful equipment in the kitchen to cook meals for 9 adults. I'd recommend guests bring some additional camping chairs so that there's enough outdoor seating - or that the hosts provide some additional, easy to move around, outdoor seating. We'd definitely stay here again!

Was the perfect spot for our group of 8. Very nice bedrooms/beds, functional kitchen and good group spaces for hanging out. Close to granite peak. Great communication. Will definitely stay again

Great place close to Granite Peak

We had a relaxing Labor day weekend get away. We used the kayaks and paddle boat to check out the river. Did some fishing and caught some fish. Waking up to the the beautiful backyard view every morning.

The house was as described, very spacious and perfect for our 2 family extended weekend ski getaway. Plenty of blankets, sleeping areas, and seating. One of the best stocked houses I've ever rented. Plenty of paper products, including paper towels, paper plates, toilet paper, trash bags etc. During our stay there was a snow storm with lots of wet heavy snow. The owner contacted us promptly to coordinate snow removal from the drive. As one of the owners was clearing snow from drive we discovered we needed more pellets from the smoker and he quickly retrieved some for us from the garage. Would definitely stay here again!!

We had a wonderful stay here! Great amenities, very clean, and the driveway was cleared of overnight snow the next morning! The fireplace and wood were the perfect touch to keep us warm and add to the cozy ambiance. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Amazing location and adorable cottage. The cottage had everything we needed and was a great location for our ice fishing weekend. Host was extremely communicative and accommodating!
