Cottage vacation rentals in Maple Grove

A perfect, cozy cottage retreat! We enjoyed a peaceful early Thanksgiving with family and felt right at home. The cottage is just as pictured, each bedroom on a different floor providing extra privacy (& bathrooms!). The hot tub and fireplace were the perfect additions to an already cozy abode. We enjoyed the beautiful lake views, nature walks, and birdwatching, as well as the games and puzzles provided. We didn't experience any bugs or noise as some other reviews had stated, the place was spotless and even had a bottle of wine to welcome us. Hosts were kind, communicative, and helpful. Highly recommend for a cozy stay just outside the city!

We had a wonderful time. The property was exactly as described and the house was wonderful and super charming. The location was perfect with plenty to do in the area. The house was secluded enough that you didn’t hear anything. Luke communicated quickly. We would definitely book again.

Amazing home for the family! We did family Christmas early here and we had plenty of room to be together and spread out! Jessica was super responsive on the few issues we had and they were very minor. Easy check in/out and tons of amenities. Super close to places we needed to run to for errands and it was really fun to watch people ice fishing and skating on the lake. Great views, great space!

We were here for a work trip in November so the temperatures were a bit colder outside, it was great inside. This was a fantastic place! We were welcomed with our names written on a board, snacks on the table, and chocolate by the beds. The place is right on the water with bedrooms with balconies looking out making it great to wake up every morning. Would highly recommend it!

We loved the house! The rooms were decorated with unique decor. Especially the room downststairs with the albums on the wall. Such a great room to hang out in. The house was very comfortable and inviting with the fireplace. Christmas decorations were a nice touch to make it feel so festive! The fireplace upstairs got a lot of use! Very good communications and responsive throughout our stay. Would love to come back and enjoy the lake when the weather is warmer! This was a great experience start to finish! The house itself was gorgeous with a lot of attention to detail. Stillwater is a great place to get away to, even if you are just coming from the Cities. Nathan was responsive and helpful and overall it perfectly fit my needs.

I came into town to visit a good friend to celebrate our birthday’s together, and since it’s my first time in Minnesota I wanted a home away from home. We absolutely are grateful that Katie was open to hosting us. I look forward to visiting again and possibly staying here again. -Maria

We had a terrific weekend in Stillwater. My kids enjoyed the hot tub and my wife loved the charm of the house and furniture.

A beautiful quiet cabin and lake. The neighbors were very kind and generous, even inviting us over for a neighborhood potluck and Yatzee tournament. My wife couldn’t get over how cute that cabin was and she loved the bed in the master bedroom. Our kids had a great time fishing off the dock. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!!

Very cute interior; lots of extra supplies in case we forgot anything. Loved the bathroom!! Quiet; beds were comfortable & nice to have 2 TV’s as my husband & I have different tastes. The only tiny negative is the yard - not really any grassy area for our little dog, but she didn’t mind walking down the block.

My friends and I had a lovely stay at Craig’s air bnb. We were 3 couples and one dog. There was a fully equipped kitchen for us to make breakfast in the morning. There was a nice seating area where we spent lots of time visiting. There was a nice patio table outside but we came in November and did not get a chance to use it. We came to Minneapolis to see a concert and Vikings game. It was a $20 uber ride to get downtown (we had to pay extra for large uber to fit all 6 of us) Craig’s neighbours were all really friendly if we saw them outside as we were coming or leaving. It felt like a very safe neighbourhood. It was a very affordable option for us and we all really enjoyed our stay. There was a store close by and some of us went for a walk around the neighbourhood. I would highly recommend Craig’s place!

Kristina and her place made our trip feel like home! Everything in the home is beautiful and made of high-quality material. When we arrived the entire place was thoroughly cleaned and organized. Our bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets. The bathroom and kitchen are both very charming and clean! Kristina herself was responsive and flexible to our unexpected changes in travel time, allowing for an earlier check-in.

My husband and I stayed at Carlys Cottage while in Minnesota… the cottage looked like it had been redone and all appliances were brand new, and the bed was so comfortable... The cottage is with in a 5 miles of several shopping plazas and restaurants... We definitely will be staying again when we return. ☘️✌️

Jordan's place was wonderful. Resting on a quiet bay of the lake it was hard to realize one was even in town. Our group was very impressed with the location, quality, attention to detail and wonderful gathering areas the property offers. Would easily reserve again. l personally loved sitting in the gazebo during a beautiful rain.

Cozy Cottage is a perfect getaway or long-term stay. We were there for a month, and so happy to have the comforts of home, including a large outdoor private space to relax and have lunch or beverages outside. Full kitchen, comfy living spaces and lots of peace and quiet on a street that dead-ends into a lake! No traffic, no noise yet just a few minute's drive to a couple of old-school lakeside treasures like Lord Fletchers and Al and Alma's Supper club. Wonderful communication with Anna and owners, highly recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Matthew's cottage. Everything was clean, decorated beautifully, and very comfortable. The cottage is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The area was quiet and safe. Hudson's downtown offers lots of restaurants and shops. We especially enjoyed Knoke's Chocolates and Nuts Shop. We bought lots of delicious chocolates. We highly recommend this cottage and will stay here again in the future.

The house was in a location that worked well for our long wedding weekend/vacation. Drive to airport the only drag. But we spent most of our time in Hudson.

Our stay at this beautiful lake house couldn’t have been better. The two bedrooms and one bathroom were plenty of space for our small family (2 adults and 1 toddler) and the common areas were perfect to spread out and enjoy time with relatives that stopped by. Internet was fast and reliable for our work days and the kitchen was well-appointed for cooking when we weren’t enjoying restaurants in downtown Excelsior, which was a short walk away. Great stay, can’t wait to come back!
