Lushoto has an interesting story under chief Kimweri of Sambaa Kingdom. During German colonization it was known as William's valley, an escapade from Tanga, a humid and hot port town. The house is situated 3.5 km from Lushoto town in Usambara mountain ranges. The house is built in the family land owned by three generations. its built close to the forest and a stream. It has three bed rooms, two bathrooms, WIFI, fully equipped kitchen and modern living room. It offers privacy and tranquility.

A pathway winds through a lush garden filled with vibrant greenery and well-maintained shrubs. Stone steps lead down toward various accommodations nestled amidst trees and foliage, creating a serene and inviting outdoor environment.

The lodge sits on a 20 hectares of land with three room categories: Six Deluxe rooms. Six Executive rooms, more superior, more spacious, an attractive interior, Zanzibar beds and the bedrooms complete with bathroom en-suite, tea/coffee making facilities, interconnecting doors. Six luxury tents. The canvas outfit on the outside shouldn’t deter even the non-adventurous guest – the inside is a complete bedroom with brick walls and all the necessary amenities found in a comfortable home.

very nice place to stay. Lots of personal space, but if you have any questions, you could always contact the Host. We slept here both in advance on the 4 day hike and after the 4 day hike and felt at home here. He can also pair you with a nice guide for hiking in the Usambara mountains!

The communication with Jerome was quick and uncomplicated. Jerome and his wife are very warm hosts, who go out of their way to ensure a nice and smooth stay for the guests. Jerome picked up from the bus parking lot in the evening and dropped us back there very early in the morning on the day of departure and even organized the bus tickets for us, which was very easier. Also, we were cooked late at night on the arrival day by Jerome's wife, which was super delicious and more than welcome. The two are active in the local community and participate in building a school, so the money earned through Airbnb also benefits the local people. I highly recommend a stay, the hospitality and helpfulness are really great! Great value for money.
