Vacation rentals with a kayak in Malta

perfect host and a lovely flat to stay in!!

Frank was a great host from early contact, daily advice on local area and meeting us with our luggage at the ferry on check out date. Could not have asked for more! A very friendly and knowledgeable host! The unit was large, very clean and well equipped. Nothing more we could have asked for! You can’t beat sunsets in Xlendi Bay and the ready access to trails north and south was very convenient We highly recommend this host and his rental!

The place was as described. It was spacious and the balcony was a big plus. The location was good, just a few minutes from bus station and a store. The downside was communication with the host at one point(we asked for a late check out further ahead but didn't recive a reply so we left at the usual time) which was a shame as everting else was nice.

We needed an easy, comfortable place to stay for one night, and Rudy's place fit the bill. We got there late at night but it was easy to find, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. In the morning we were treated with a beautiful sunrise and view into the bay. as we enjoyed our morning coffee. Rudy was very responsive and flexible with our check-in. Thanks Rudy!

In a word, you can describe your stay in this home - great. The place is perfect for someone who would like to experience Malta from this quiet, less touristy side. The house is beautiful, traditional, very big and spacious, decorated with amazing taste. Delighted by the view from both terraces. The market in Il-Qala is great for a quiet breakfast or dinner and the company of locals. Contact with Paul and Derek was immediate and friendly. Living in Gozo is a great choice. You can really feel the atmosphere of traditional Malta by being surrounded by the sun, low limestone houses, pears, and a view of the turquoise bays.

We had a fabulous stay at Cathy's Villa Rosso Gozo the last week of September. We were three couples with three children, including a baby and toddler and the villa was spacious and comfortable to accommodate all, nice communal spaces for hanging out together and also private terraces from the bedrooms to retreat to for quietness or privacy. Cathy was an exceptional host, guiding us to some highlights of the area and recommended nice places to go for eating. The villa was well stocked with shower gels and shampoos which we greatly appreciated, and the kitchen & BBQ area was very well equiped. The pool table was a nice novelty for our 9 year old . Unfortunately a problem arose with the jacuzzi when we were there but this did not impact our stay in any way, Cathy very kindly offered a spa visit for all of us at a nearby 5 star hotel which the ladies in the group especially appreciated. I would definitely recommend this villa for those travelling in groups or large families, it was 🤩.

Booking a room at Joanne's place was the best decision ever. We stayed for 7 days and felt like home, our little one enjoyed the meals that Joanne offers to cook for him. Definitely I would recommended it !
