What a wonderful house ❤️ we felt at home. Beautiful quiet place with large terrace for eating at sunrise and sunset. in the middle of nature. Super comfortable beds and everything you need in the house. Become our favorite place in Crete. Thank you very much Ioanna.

The place is very nice, it has absolutely everything needed. The host was communicative check in and check out were extremely accessible. From my point of view you have to rent a car if you stay here is quite walking to the beach (n I would recommend), this is the only minus the distance to the beach and from the old center but the quality of the house is unmatched, many terraces, quiet surroundings full of greenery. We had a wonderful week

We spent 10 days in the property with our 2 1/2 year old son. The house is well equipped, and really offers everything to have a nice time in the area. The village is secluded from the hustle and bustle, but still offers 2 likeable tavernas and cafes; and in a few minutes drive you are on the beach or in one of the numerous tavernas in a neighboring village. Nektaria was a great host, always reachable. We'd love to come back !

It feels like home as soon as we arrived at Grigoris's place. We were welcomed by Christina (Grigoris mom, hope we got the name right). Christina was super friendly and helpful through our stay. She brought to us some home cooked Greek pastries and biscuits next day and we loved them. The house looks and feels better than the photos. Beautiful sea view in a quiet area. We felt so relaxpastIt has everything you need to enjoy your stay there. Great place for a family. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back. Lots of lovely memory. It was one of the best places we stayed in Europe. The house has everything you need, from kitchen utensils to an outdoor table. Yannis is an amazing host and not only gave us heaps of recommendations but also received us with local food. We will never forget it! Thank you so much.

We recently stayed at this Airbnb for an autumn vacation and, overall, it was a pleasant experience. The house is clean, well-maintained, and the location is convenient for exploring the area. The amenities provided were more than adequate, and everything functioned as expected. One thing to note is that the hosts live on-site, which isn’t necessarily a problem, but their presence was definitely felt compared to other Airbnbs we stayed in so far. Nevertheless, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a well-kept, dog friendly space with hosts who are nearby to assist.

A lovely place in a cute village, surrounded by olive trees. A gorgeous view from the terrace. The house manager communicates very well, with fast, clear and friendly instructions. Special mention: the owners Elena and Michail also run a delightful restaurant 30min away. It is well worth going, for the food, the view, but most importantly to meet with them! They have been sooo incredibly welcoming and it was a treat to have a chat with them both. I definitely recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at Georg's place. Especially the garden was so great for our two boys with lots of exercise and great play opportunities. We were spoiled with delicious olive oil and freshly plucked salad and were able to snack on pomegranate from the garden. Communication with Georg was always impeccable and quick. He and his family were always eager and so friendly. We were even allowed to watch the olive harvest and learned so much from Georg. The surroundings are great for taking different excursions. We can only recommend Georg's place.

We stayed for 9 days in a beautiful apartment, very clean and very equipped. The apartment is about 10/15 minutes from the center of Chania, in front of a supermarket and in our opinion, it is at the right distance from all the most beautiful beaches (1.45 h max). The order, cleanliness and equipment of the apartment allowed us to live our stay to the fullest! I would like to reserve a special thank you to the very cute Chrysoula. She was very kind, sociable and available to answer all our questions. She was the first person in the place we met and she really warmed our hearts to meet her... thank you! We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

The location was amazing! Right down the steps and we were in the middle of Old Town Chania. Sitting on the balcony patio and there was a beautiful view of the seaside and Chania's famous lighthouse. The place was beautiful with all the kinds of special touches that make a vacation stay comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Everything was exceptional! Katerina was very helpful. The apartment had everything we needed for our 10 days relaxing stay, right on the beach (1 min walk to the golden beach). Katerina provided fresh bed linen and towels half way through our stay. There are only 2 apartments in the building, 2 penthouses. Very quiet and peaceful! No lift but not too bad, easy stairs. 2 supermarkets are very close, 10 min walk, and the other shops are within 2 min walk from the apartment. The bus stop is 1 min walk. By bus 21 is 10 min to Chania, 2 EUR pp. Taxis are a bit pricey. 14 EUR. Thank you Katerina for everything! We recommend this apartment.

We came to Chania as part of our honeymoon in Greece. The beginning of our honeymoon in Athens had a lot of bumps/issues and so our spirits were a little low, but staying here really helped turn things around! This listing is even more beautiful than the pictures. The shower was amazing! Seriously, we have travelled a lot and that was by far the best shower we have ever experienced including compared to really nice hotels 😂 The view is also stunning as you are literally on the water, which is crystal clear! We had breakfast and drinks at night on the balcony every day just to soak in the view. The place is about a 5-10 min walk from Old Town, which is nice. The hosts were truly one of a kind! They surprised us with beautiful keepsakes for our honeymoon and saved us when we had forgotten to print out our bus tickets (printed them and let them outside our door with a little bottle of wine!). So responsive, flexible, and overall AMAZING! We hope to come back and stay here again!!

Our group had such a lovely time exploring Chania with Maryellen’s beautiful basement/backyard unit as our home base! The view cannot be beat! We made it a point to always make it back to the space so we could relish in each sunset from the comfort of the back patio. =) Despite being perched high above the town, the location is convenient to Chania’s old town / harbor. We found ourselves walking to town each evening for dinner and drinks, then cabbing back up the hill for only 12€ or so. Convenient to both the city center and airport, yet quiet and secluded. The space met and/or exceeded our expectations in every way. Photos are true to form, but the feeling of the space inside and out can only be appreciated through experience. Greatly appreciated Maryellen’s warm midwestern hospitality, quick responses and eagerness to lend her local tips! We took her up on many! Chania was the entire group’s favorite stop, and Maryellen’s space played a big part in that! Would recommend!!

This is the best air BnB we have stayed in. The photos do not do it justice. It is so spacious, with large bedrooms and a large living area. Plenty of storage space and a HUGE outdoor space with a massive pool. It was a stunning air BnB. Lots of amenities and extra kitchen gadgets. It has a great BBQ and outdoor eating space. The pool was a highlight and was warm despite it not being heated. Showers had lots of power, beds were comfy. Location is stunning, very peaceful and serene. Not loud at all. We didn’t mind the planes going over head, they are very infrequent. The house was so clean and clearly well looked after. You would need a car to get around Crete if staying here but a lovely tavern and local beach 10-15 min walk down the road. Stavros beach about a 5 min drive. I would absolutely stay here again, it was perfect!! Christian and Judith were amazing hosts, very responsive and gave clear instructions!

Tor is a brilliant host and his villa is exactly as described. It was spacious and there are great seating areas both inside and out. The beds are super comfy and there are beautiful views from the terrace. We hired a car for a few days, but had lots of days at the villa and it was easy with local shops and the Irene Taverna near by. Tor was always quick to respond to messages and Nikos, who is super helpful, was available in person. Nikos popped by to check how everything was several times and nothing was too much trouble. He was generous with his time sharing local places to visit and suggested a fish restaurant at Stavros beach which was our favourite place. Thank you Tor and Nikos for making our visit to Crete memorial and relaxing.

We had a great stay at Villas Manos! The pool is very nice and clean. The house was clean and even was cleaned once again during our stay (monday to saturday). Manolis is very kind and has two friendly dogs. There are nice restaurants within walking distance (uphill when you come back). The house is located about 20 minutes from the city center of Chania. We had a very pleasant stay and we would recommend!

Everything was perfect. If you want an private and quite place, this is the one!

We had a great time at the villa! Lovely place Very clean had all the amenities, instructions were very clear from Periklis and whenever I needed something the response was immediate! They came to do a full clean of the villa mid way through our stay which was also great! Overall a lovely place and area with many near shops and restaurants! And short drive into town! Would stay again next time!

We had a wonderful time at the house. Very relaxing and an ideal place to explore the surrounding area. Upon arrival, we were very warmly welcomed and we lacked nothing. There was also something to nibble and drink. The sea is just a stone's throw away. Shopping on foot, visiting restaurant and it even has a bus stop. In other words, you could also travel without a rental car. Ideal for travelers wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. Great Many thanks to Hannah and the homeowner.

We had a lovely week at Anna’s place. It was our first family holiday and a great place to enjoy some time together. The space is modern, clean and light. The outside areas are spacious and although the pools were a little chilly (we visited in October), we spent lots of time outside. The roof terrace has wonderful views. The villa is walking distance to lovely restaurants with sea views, a park with children’s play area, beaches and supermarkets - we didn’t need a car at all! Anna went above and beyond to help us during our stay!

Great stay at quiet villa I a quiet village (just us, the goats, chickens and cockrels and occasional horse) with fantastic views of the mountains. Good supply of kitchen equipment. We were very grateful for the wine, cake, fruit water and cheese on arrival. Although we did not organise any extracurricular activities with them, the managing company was proactive and responsive, polite and helpful. A car is a must to get around the island easily at your own pace and timetable. We visited beaches, caves, monestries and botanical gardens and ate at lovely restaurants as well as cooking at the Villa. If you like outdoor cooking and are a larger group (we were just two) there is a spacious outdoor kitchen including grill, and pizza/bread oven and sink all under a shading Olive tree at the back if the vila. Fully recommend a stay at the Villa and in Crete
