House vacation rentals in Madison County

We were visiting our son and his family for thanksgiving. His place is small so this was a perfect place to gather as a family everything about the place was exceptional location and it is comfortable and spacious and well appointed

A pristine home in an amazing private community. Full equipped with kitchen, bath, and extras. Always great recommendations and responsive to questions. Highly recommend for families that enjoy nature and privacy.

Slight miscommunication on the cleaning before we got there but they were extremely helpful in fixing the situation and the communication has been wonderful the whole time. House has plenty of room and different living spaces so we were all able to hang out together or separate into different rooms and enjoy our space. House was perfect and gave us plenty to do in our off time.

Beautiful home with phenomenal views of the mountains. The home had all the supplies needed. Daniel was a great host, providing detailed information in advance and responding quickly when we had a question. We would definitely recommend Higher Ground.

Beautiful home in rural area which was peaceful. The morning sunrise over the mountain terrain was spectacular. The local store nearby (Wolf Provisions General Store) had great sandwiches.

We stayed at 792 McDaris Loop Rd, a property owned by Carolina Mornings. We had 4 people and a dog. The cabin was great. It has a lower level bedroom/apartment also, perfect for our traveler with a dog. The scenery was spectacular. The cabin had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, linens, grill, board games, pool, pi.g po g and a jacuzzi. Make sure you go to the grocery store before settling in, it is about 30-40 minutes to a grocery store. We loved our stay would do it again.

My family stayed at this property and Immediately felt at home. The house was great for hosting our additional family in the area and made us not feel like we were on top of each other. We had a fantastic time! We only wished we could’ve stayed longer!

Mollie was incredibly responsive and helpful. During our stay we experienced a natural disaster that forced us to leave, but Mollie was understanding and supportive. We loved the house and will definitely return when we get the chance.

House was perfect for what we were looking for. Very clean and had everything we needed. We had another place fall through and Christian was able to get us in last minute. This place was better than our original. Host was very responsive and always extremely helpful. We plan to return.

Modern cozy farmhouse for a little slice of heaven! Just outside of Asheville, this immaculate brand new feeling farmhouse is perfect for a weekend getaway to find your breath under the stars with the peaceful surroundings of pastures and farmland. We loved the porch swing and rocking chairs! Just the right amount of space for 4 (the pull out couch is the most comfortable sleeper sofa I have ever slept on!) Everything one needs to cook in the kitchen and the eggs and ribeye steaks Morgan offers were delicious! Plenty of games in the cabinet; we enjoyed rounds of Scrabble with our boys. Just a great place to reconnect with family with lots of hiking, outdoor adventures and Asheville nearby. Highly recommend a venture to nearby Never Ending Flower Farm to pick your own flowers in an idyllic setting and a concert/show at Hawk & Hawthorn!

John and Zabrina's place exceeded our expectations!! Check-in was a breeze. We celebrated an early family Thanksgiving and we had so much room to visit in this beautiful space. The kitchen had all the necessities and so many thoughtful extras such as flavored creamers, snacks and spices. I had a stress free prep since Zabrina's kitchen had many baking pans, serving utensils and dishes. The bedrooms were super comfy, bathrooms clean with plenty of towels, toothbrushes, and of course toilet paper! The beautiful decor was so calming and peaceful. Definitely one of the very best airbnb experiences to date! Thanks John and Zabrina for allowing us to make a great family memory!

Great stay for the Thanksgiving holiday. Convenient to grocery stores and an easy drive to Asheville. Cozy bedding and comfy couch. Nicely updated. Would stay again!

The place is great! Really worth the trip

George was a fantastic host, and the house was perfect for my group of 12. It was so easy to reach downtown Asheville quickly but still far enough away to feel private with beautiful nature. (We even got to see a bear with five cubs from the back porch- it was lovely!) The house had all of the amenities we needed and had multiple spaces we could all be together as a group, including the dining room, living room, game room, and back deck seating area. I was very impressed and would love the opportunity to stay at George’s property again in the future!

Great house for a vacation with friends and kids. There were 5 adults, 3 kids under 4 and 2 dogs. We had plenty of room, and so nice to have a fenced yard for dogs. We are active people and ran/biked, and it is off a busy road with no shoulder so isn’t the best for that but we still managed. We went to Asheville, breweries, the nature center, and on a hike, but also spent a couple hours in downtown Weaverville which was nice. Alex & Christy were very responsive, we were able to check in early and quickly able to add a person to the August app for the lock when we were separated. Overall was a great place to stay!

Great place to stay a little outside Asheville. About 20-30 minutes to Biltmore. Alexandra was a great host, she was very responsive and always checked in with us.

This place was really great. It's in a quiet neighborhood but very close to shopping and restaurants. We were traveling with our dogs and this place was pet friendly. The house is equipped with everything imaginable so it was easy to settle in. We plan on visiting again in the near future.

The house was in a lovely environment, where it was peaceful and quiet. With sleeping spaces on three levels, there was good privacy and we were all comfortable. There was a beautiful view from the couch in the living room.....and one morning we saw deer wandering around close by! We've always enjoyed the town of Weaverville, so were thankful for another time to visit there! Misty answered all our questions and was very helpful! Our family would enjoy staying there again in the future! Thanks for sharing your home Misty!

My family booked Lindsey's place shortly after Helene wiped out power and water in Asheville. Lindsey was kind, responsive, thoughtful, and even willing to be flexible with me so that my family had a place to stay with water, power, and wifi. Ultimately, our stay did not end up being as long as we anticipated when the water was restored to the city, and she was willing to refund the majority of the reservation. This was an extremely kind gesture. The home itself is cute and retro chick as described. It's well stocked and is set in a gorgeous location for fall foliage. Lindsey is a wonderful host.

Beautiful place, host was responsive to our needs. We really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint was the toilet on main floor and upper level made sounds constantly but I didn't bother us too much.

This home provides easy access Weaverville and Asheville. We had a group of 8 people and had just enough dinner seating between the dining table and kitchen bar. The basement kitchen was in the midst of repair due to hurricane damage. There were toys and games available for the kids to play with, which was a nice bonus. We enjoyed using the wood burning stove in the living room, but had to buy our own wood. The driveway is fairly steep, but it is paved and manageable for most vehicles. Overall it was a great house for our group of 8 (2 families with 2 kids each).

The place is wonderful. Sadly my birthday weekend fell on a hurricane. This was such an unprecedented situation. I did not stay because the power and water went out. I was given water and was able to cook my food on the wood stove. I appreciate all the chopped firewood. That stove was everything. I asked if I can come stay another day instead of a refund as I hope Asheville and surrounding counties see through all the disaster. I was told I could have a day anytime! I will be trying for another stay someday. The place is very nice. The community/neighbors around were also exceptional during the stay after the storm. I saw people w chainsaws and tractors removing blocked roadways. It was a relief. I am from Knoxville TN. I will be back.

So outstanding that I almost want to keep it a secret! But the hosts deserve a shout out for all to read. They easily earn 5 full stars. Everything is brand new and spotless. Tremendous attention to every detail including appliances and amenities in kitchens and bathrooms. Hosts are immediately responsive and helpful. One of the very best Airbnb properties I have ever stayed in. Convenient to hiking all around blue ridge mountains and also to Asheville. If you are traveling to this area this should be your first choice place to stay. Can’t wait to return!
