Vacation rentals in Madampe

We stayed for one week in the beautiful Villa Escape near the village Madampe in one of the two houses on the estate named “The Nest”. It’s an awesome place with a lot of nature around, two pools and a very well equipped kitchen. The host was just perfect and very caring. She helped us organize stuff and offered assistance for everything. The housekeeper also was very helpful and caring, although there was a big language barrier - he is a lovely guy. It is a bit away from the city, but this is another plus, because it's quiet and calm. A scooter is recommended (Tipp: there is a scooter rental in Madampe, which isn’t on google maps and probably cheaper then the ones coming from Negombo. Follow the left road at the roundabout in Madampe and you will see it on the right side.) We highly recommend staying at this place if you’re searching for a private and quiet space with a whole house for yourself.

In our opinion, Villa Mika is the perfect place to spend a few days after or before a long flight. It is only 15 minutes from the international airport. The villa is gorgeous! As soon as you walk through the door, you get a real WOW effect. You are immediately in the tastefully and beautifully decorated open plan living room overlooking the fantastic pool and garden. It is even nicer and bigger than in the photos. The housekeeper, Sira, is a real ray of sunshine, very discreet and made us feel very welcome. The sumptuous rice and curry prepared by his wife was delicious! The delightful breakfast was freshly prepared by Sira and Priyan. JC is a very pleasant, responsive and generous host. We recommend the villa to anyone who prefers to arrive and relax in a private oasis rather than an ordinary hotel room, or who likes to end the journey through enchanting Sri Lanka in style and relaxation. Thank you JC, Sira and Priyan for your hospitality.

A very peaceful, lovely environment to spend our leisure. The house interior was spotless, and the furniture was very beautiful, kitchen utensils were all available and clean. It was very easy to use all the housewares for our use. Bathrooms were gorgeous, sophisticated and very clean. I definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to spend their time here.
