Vacation rentals in Mad River

Liza’s home was beautiful, and it couldn’t be closer to Stowe Mountain Resort. It was the perfect ski trip house for my group, and the host was incredibly accommodating and helpful.

We loved our stay at Great Maples and are already thinking about booking another trip. We shared the house with another young family, and it worked out great. Plenty of space, clean, and beautiful. Private and relaxing but also lots of fun activities in neighboring towns. It even had a playroom and lots of books and toys for our kids. We can’t wait to go back!

Very nice home with great amenities. Great location to and from everything. Nicely distributed with space for everyone. Beds were comfortable and the home has plenty of towels etc. Overall it was a great place for weekend or longer. Maria was easy to communicate with and there were no issues.

We have stayed in this same condo complex before, and we really appreciate the convenient location and the pool/sauna. It’s a great jumping off point for everything in Stowe. Comfy beds. Kitchen has everything you need for food preparation, but it is a bit lacking for full meal cooking. Mud room in front is great for hanging up your damp gear after a day of skiing. Thanks!

Don was very responsive and amenable. The driveway was snowed in and Don worked to get a plow to the house fairly quickly. The house is pretty private and a 1-2 minute drive to Lincoln peak. There is a shuttle that also can drop visitors off at the mountain. The hot tub was clutch for apres ski and the house had all the amenities that one would need. Definitely recommend staying here.

Tammie and Cory were very accommodating to us, since our stay had to be last minute (I booked for our work crew and sometimes the schedule comes out late). Our crew has told me that this is one of their favorite places to stay, which means a lot because they have stayed in many different locations in New England. We just booked our second last minute stay, and the crew was very happy when they found out where I booked. Thank you!

The house and the property were beautiful and very relaxing. We had six of us staying there for four nights and we never felt cramped or on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and cooking utensils. There was not a shortage of fire wood either which we used every night. The fire place and seating around it made for a relaxing and cozy place to hang out and relax. The property was like a setting right of a post card. We traveled from Florida to have fun in the snow and there was plenty of it. Having 10 acres of woods and hills to explore was perfect. The house is also conveniently located from the Burlington Airport, the town of Stowe and the slopes making it easy to get to and from places, but still offering up the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We would definitely stay at this house again!

We stayed a long weekend with a group of 10 to ski and venture over to Lawson’s Brewery. The home was large and inviting. It was very clean and had all the essentials we need. We were so glad we were able to bring our dog as well. The beds and furniture were comfortable which is a plus for a ski weekend. The road is steep and not fully plowed but sanded so be sure to have 4 wheel drive if coming in the winter. The steps were icy as well but I made the hosts aware of it and they said that will be taken care of for future stays. We appreciate the hospitality and communication! We would definitely stay here again.
