Vacation rentals with lake access in Machar

My family of five had a wonderful week at this home in Huntsville. We loved being so close to downtown and the park and playground. The house itself was well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, and even games and books for kids. Would highly recommend!

Amanda’s property is beautiful and relaxing. There is so much to do from sitting on the porch in the morning with coffee to kayaking on the beautiful lake or playing pool inside the home. Plenty of room to spread out. There was a storm shortly after our arrival that knocked out the power but thankfully there was a whole house generator that kicked on. The internet was out most of our stay do to this storm but the host was in full contact keeping us posted and trying their hardest to get it resolved as soon as possible. Honestly, there was so much to do at the house, we didn’t even miss it. The bedrooms were comfortable and it was very nice having our own bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again.

My friends and I had a great Thanksgiving weekend at Amir’s place! The house itself is super big and the view is beautiful. Amir was very accommodating and let us check out late on the last day. Would definitely recommend this place!

I'd like to thank the hosts for providing such a cozy place. We felt right at home, or I should say even better than home when we arrived late in a cold rain, after long flights and long drives. This place has quality and taste. Big confy living spaces, plus it's right beside the beautiful lake. The only regret is we only booked for day due to our own schedule and I really wish I could have stayed longger.

Becky’s cottage is perfect for a family stay in Muskoka. The cottage is incredibly well designed and appointed with tons of small touches that make the stay outstanding. Both the main cottage and side cottage provide ample space for all parties and the outdoor space from docks to patios give everyone tons of space to enjoy the outdoors. We hope to stay here again soon! Derek

James’s place was perfect for our group of 6, could have comfortably fit more. The cottage was very spacious and had everything we needed. James was awesome to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we felt at home. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone travelling to Lake Nipissing to stay here

We came in from Alberta for a wedding in the area, and stayed at Tara’s place. It was much larger than we had imagined, and the property was just gorgeous! We would absolutely book with Tara again if we were back in the area.

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

Once again, we will be back Daniel!! Absolutely an amazing with the apartment and of course you’re the best host. Always there to welcome us and make sure we have everything we need. Thanks again Daniel. Merry Christmas my friend!!

Where would I even begin? This was by far the best experience I’ve had. The unit exceeded expectations, it really did make you feel at home from the moment you walked in. It is honestly so nice, zero complaints. The host’s were absolutely amazing. They were so responsive to any need I had no matter how big or small, and made everything just so comfortable. I don’t think I’ll ever come across a group quite like them again. I would highly recommend this unit and any other unit listed under the host’s. They made being away from home and the struggles of daily life feel effortless. I am grateful for all they did and accommodated for me. As I said, best experience I’ve had by far.

The place was very clean and Hunt and Dave were very responsive and helpful!

Maria’s cottage was perfect for our family of four, including two teenagers! The cottage was spacious and clean. Outdoors was absolutely beautiful with various seating areas - a patio with tables/chairs, Adirondack chairs around a fire pit, picnic bench closer to the lake and then more Adirondack chairs right on the dock with a gorgeous view of the lake. The cottage had various outdoor sports/leisure items (kayaks, volleyball, badminton etc). Indoors there were cards, colouring books/crayons, novels etc. All of these made for a fun few days through rain and sunshine. Communication with Maria was timely and kind. We all had a restful and enjoyable 3-4 days at Maria’s cottage and would highly recommend it!! Thank you!!

Great place, it is located very close to parks, trails, different beaches. An apartment is very cozy, has everything we needed and also lets mention the great lake view. Our host is a great person. We spent only one week here and definitely will come again.

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described, stayed in the same unit for two separate 1-2 month blocks with absolutely no issues.

The view of the lake in the fall was most impressive! The cottage is very suitable for our group of 7 people. The sitting area and kitchen on the upper floor provide a picturesque view of the lawn and the lake. The only unexpected hiccup we had was that the code given to us for the lockbox that kept the house door keys was not correct. We had to phone the owner and left a message for help. We eventually managed to open the lock on our own by trying the normal unset code. This innocuous incident somewhat added a degree of excitement for surprises in a house other than one’s home! 😄

We booked under the general listing (Having not realized that there were more specific ones) so Dan was kind enough to choose a cottage based on what he believed would be appropriate for the temperatures and time of year. And when we met down in the driveway upon arrival, he was immediately very friendly and we had a great conversation, and he directed us up to our cabin which was an excellent choice, beautiful view of the lake, nice amount of shade, beautiful inside (looked like it had recently had some updates as well), very clean, and very well-appointed - full amenities, very comfortable space…more like a home than a cottage. Had a lovely conversation with Pam while we were checking out. We greatly enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year!

Amazing cottage and great hosts. Early check-in time at 11 am! Late check-out time (the host said we could leave any time and stay as late as we like) - this was the best! Usually hosts require early check-out from a cottage which is super inconvenient - but here you can stay as long as you want and actually enjoy your last day. A bottle of wine and a thank you card upon arrival! The cottage is amazing: super comfortable, the bathroom is great, modern shower, kitchen is very well stocked (so many dishes, glasses, utensils, everything) - above and beyond other cottages. The location is private with a gorgeous view of Pickerel like, private dock, several sitting areas so you can move between them with the sun throughout the day, beautiful area to make the fire. We loved kayaks and 2 standup paddle boards, plenty of life vests. Starlink wifi worked great. Great hosts, so responsive at all times before and during the stay when we had questions. We loved this cottage!

We spent two nights at the cottage and that was awesome. Angela made it very simple with clear information about dos and don't. Available outdoor activities are great and even enjoyed lighting the firepit. I would definitely rent again and highly recommend Angela 's cottage as it is found in very quiet and peaceful place. Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

Had a great time at cottage. Great Location on a nice calm Lake. Very easy check-in. Staff very friendly. Very Clean and nice kitchen and BBQ. Would definitely recommend staying here. The Dome and other huts on property would be fun to stay at as well. Have already recommended this property and will probably be back.
