Rune's guesthouse is in the middle of Forsand's marina and is surrounded by water on 3 sides. Our first floor apartment was very spacious and offered a unique view of the fjord - right from the armchair. Our son liked the sleeping place under the roof. Overall, there remained nothing to be desired. Rune was always available in the supermarket across the street and gave us tips for hiking in the Lysefjord. Forsand is very suitable as a starting point for tours. The Preikestolen parking lot is 20 minutes away and with the (6:00 am) ferry or a rented boat you can get to e.g. Flørli and Lysebotn.

Nice stay in apartment. We had late arrival but Britt quickly made everything in order for us. Surprisingly good sofa bed. Everything was fine.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location couldn’t be better – everything is super central, with great restaurants just around the corner. It was easy to explore the city on foot, which was a huge plus. The apartment itself was equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking, the bathroom was well-stocked, and as a bonus, there was even a TV with internet access for relaxing evenings. The price-to-value ratio is excellent, and the host provided helpful tips regarding parking, including details about the “Easy Park” app, which made things much easier. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

lovely place, good location, very responsive host. staring at the water was in of itself a vacation. it was windy when we were there and so couldn't enjoy the balcony much, but it didn't matter. the parking is an additional bonus in Norway if you're driving

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

We had a nice Christmas weekend in Sauda and visited family. Jon and Ågot had decorated cozy for Christmas and welcomed us. We had a nice time in the older house. Sleep well in good beds. We would gladly came back!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home in Stavanger, and it was an experience to remember. The house is amazing—spacious yet incredibly cozy, with a charming fireplace that added the perfect touch of warmth to our evenings.

A very unique and beautiful place to stay, we enjoyed dinner in the boathouse area downstairs, the view was great, and we loved hiking the island.

We had a peaceful month-long stay here. The annex met every expectation: a stunning fjord view, lightning-fast internet, a new, modern kitchen with high-end appliances, and fresh, soft tap water. They also provided essential items, which was a thoughtful bonus. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, preparing everything to make our stay comfortable. We truly appreciated their attention to detail and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Wonderful, clean accommodation, in a house that already has a long history, ideal accommodation for those who like houses that live their own lives. The beautiful island beckons for many walks and explorations. Silje was a great host, she helped with everything right away and she was very nice. If I ever return to Stavanger, I already know where I will stay again.

Kenneth is friendly and made it important for us to enjoy their place, he always responded quickly. The stay was more than good :) The whole family loved it! Great accommodation for sightseeing. Awesome apartment. Super central . I had great communication with the host and we had everything we needed within a short distance. I had needs along the way during my rental period and the host was accommodating and contributed to a successful end of my stay. 10/10
