Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lyons

This was a beautiful place to stay. Quiet and comfortable. Easy to find and get into. Nathan, the owner, was responsive and suggested great local restaurants that my family and I tried out during our stay. The hot tub was our favorite part!

Beautiful mountain retreat just a few minutes from Nederland and Boulder. Property offered amazing views and lots of privacy. The house was perfect for a weekend getaway. We would book again with Zac and Lisa, no question.

Fantastic hosts, very responsive, and helpful. Unit was extremely spacious, great layout, and fantastic kitchen. Only issue was the shuttle to the resort was unreliable. I’m guessing the holiday traffic combined with extra crowds due to Park City’s issues contributed to that. I can’t fault the owners for that. This place is great with wonderful hosts!

The place was everything my guest and I needed and made my party and I feel right at home. Dennis was a great host and was responsive whenever I had reached out. Would book again!

We took our daughter on a University of Colorado Boulder tour. The house was the perfect location as a jumping point for snowboarding and visiting the school. The house itself was the perfect vibe, and is actually one the reasons she now wants to attend Boulder - ha. I just have to let her know the dorms wont look like this. Great location, unbelievable house and gracious host.

We call this the Castle Cabin! Absolutely gorgeous home, spacious and so well put together. The pictures dont do Justice. book it!! you'll love it!! We will definitely be back soon.

Best place I’ve stayed in Colorado by far. Definitely recommend and the host was very kind and responsive.

We had good time in the house. Very clean and spacious. The parking on side of the house was a better choice than the heated parking in the basement especially in summer.

Charley’s place was perfect. Exactly as advertised. Bonus: there was a great shopping area with a variety of high quality eateries just a block away. I spent 10 days there and didnt want to leave.

Andrew was always helpful and spot on during communications. The location was exactly what we needed and our large group felt right at home. We definitely would stay again. Thanks Andrew!

We really loved this stay. We had seven adults (professional colleagues) and it was kind of perfect. Every bedroom was clean and well appointed. The bathrooms were great. The kitchen was huge and well supplied. There were multiple gathering areas for casual relaxation times (we were in the house a lot for both work and recreation). It was a great walking neighborhood, including to many fun eateries, and the park across the street is lovely. With all this, we didn’t really need to contact the hosts much but when we did they were responsive and friendly. A great all-around stay.

Tom is absolutely incredible! I’ve worked with many hosts over the last year while working in the area and Tom is the best. The house is exactly what we needed and exactly how the listing described. I highly recommend you stay here when you are in the area.

We stayed for a short visit with my son who lives nearby. It is very close to the college and downtown area as well as shopping. Although it was nicely laid out, I do wish there was a TV upstairs rather than having to go downstairs to watch anything. Also, the laundry machines are due for a change out....the dryer burned some spots on a couple items. Overall, the place was warm and cozy for our stay.

We had an amazing 2+ weeks here with our dog. The park made dog walks sooo convenient and nice. The house is even bigger than the pictures and full of cozy furnishing that make you feel right at home! Kammie was an amazing host with excellent communication and was always there if we needed anything. This is one of the best located airbnbs in the city as there are so many things to do like walking to the zoo and science center. Highly recommend this place for 1-2 couples with dogs, will be back!

This was a perfect stay for our quick ski trip! We stayed 3 nights and it was great! It was very clean, comfortable bed, nice kitchen, cozy living area and the best primary bathroom! It was in a great location - a few minute drive downtown to get our coffees every morning and to get supper every night. The food offered in Idaho Springs was delightful. Laura & Judd had recommendations in their welcome binder that were spot on! I highly recommend booking here as it was worth every penny!

We had a great stay. Lots to do within walking distance. Everything was as advertised. Comfortable and clean. Our host was easy to communicate with.

Great condo just a quick walk to the River Run Gondola and Summit Express Lift. 1 minute walk to great restaurants/amenities/rentals in River Run Village. Hot tub and pool a bonus after a long day on the slopes! We are a family of four and the sofa bed and murphy bed were perfect for our two kids.

Loved the spot. Good location close to restaurants and bars on the main road. Shuttle takes you right to the lifts or it’s a short drive to one of the WP lots. Cozy and clean space.

Very nice place to stay for a ski vacation! Close to shuttle, also an easy drive to Winter Park. The place was very clean, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. We didn’t get to the hot tub, but close by and looked well used. Had problems with internet connection, but Roger and Sharon communicated clearly about it. We would definitely stay here again!

Trish was excellent with communication and the unit was exactly as described. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

We loved our stay the past 4 nights. The house was very warm and inviting. LOVED the heated floors. Beds were comfy, living space upstairs was spacious and accommodating. Perfect for our group. We will look to stay here next year for our trip.

Highly recommend, if you like the sound of a river and the chance of seeing elk, this is the place. Accommodation was perfect for 2 and close to the hot tub.

The Art House is a fantastic and welcoming property. Our family has the most relaxed Thanksgiving there. The space is amazing good together and separate space. It is super comfy and Peter was fantastic, so responsive and kind. The art and plants in the house added to the charm. Next time in Denver, we will definitely stay!

Really one of the nicest Air BnBs I've seen. One thing I did not realize but that turned out to be fantastic was that this condo is a suite formed by joining two adjoining rooms. With two substantial doors that could be closed between the living/dining and sleeping areas, noise or one person needing to work was never a problem. There are luxurious rain/hand-held showerheads in both bathrooms, a very comfortable bed, and pretty much anything you could need for a week-long stay. The unit is also very well decorated. In terms of amenities outside the unit, the pools and hot tubs looked clean very well maintained, both indoors and out, as did the women's locker room. The staff members I interacted with were extremely friendly, and this did not change when I said I was using Air BnB. I didn't experience any oddness from building residents. There was some noise from the hallway and above, but this mostly did not reach the sleeping area, so that was fine. I would love to stay here again!
