Cottage vacation rentals in Lynton

We booked this property over a year ago for a special family trip to celebrate a 60th birthday! There was plenty of room for us all & the dogs. The hot tub was lovely & us ‘adult kids’ really enjoyed it! Lots of room and it really felt like home from home. Roger was kind and patient. Thank you for hosting

Words can’t even describe how wonderful this accommodation is. We were shown around by Mick with clear instructions on how to use all appliances, we were asked in advance what time we would like the spa ready for and it was ready for exactly that time. Communication from start to finish was impeccable and we couldn’t have wished for better hosts! So welcoming and wonderful with easy communication with Tracey. The accommodation itself was spotless and had everything you needed. The small Christmas touches, fresh homemade mince pies & clotted cream as well as the big Christmas tree got us right in the spirit. The spa was on another level, it was more than we expected. A beautiful home with a stunning view. It was lovely and warm and comfortable, with space for relaxation and games. We went on some lovely walks. The hot tub was also great! Highly recommend.

We had a brilliant time, the property was beautifully presented and exactly what we wanted. A great place to choose if you're looking to spend time in the area. Close to several pubs, shops and, the beach. We would highly recommend.

The welcome gift was exceptional AND represented the overall level of care and attention. Every effort had been made to provide all that you could want in this cosy well equipped cottage with it's secure dog friendly private garden, excellent garden furniture and its own private hot tub. A quiet but friendly area with good safe private parking, a short drive to a local shop. The standard of information provided was first class....how often do hosts print out the weeks tide times for you? Some nice places to eat out within a few miles and excellent cooking facilities and little extras provided. Comfortable sitting room with TV and DVD facility. If you are over 6ft 3 the top bed room might make you take extra care! Lovely modern shower and all the heating needed willingly offered. Lovely main garden area and pleasant views. A great place t relax and enjoy.

We stayed in the winter and the lodge was very quiet and peaceful. Hot tub was lovely on a cold winters evening. Easy walk to the pub in Croyde. We will definitely be back.

Lovely place with hot tub and other great amenities . Supplied us with breakfast, snacks and a bottle of Prosecco. Location is a little out the way but Ubers are cheap and most places are walkable distance. Great stay, would definitely revisit

Beautiful home and area surrounding it. Unfortunately whilst we were there storm darragh hit but Iveta kept in contact with us and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back in better weather for sure!

There are no words to describe this beautiful cottage, we all fell in love with it the moment we got there, it is stunning tasteful decor ..everything you need, just peaceful and the pub front door you can see from the window... Simply lovely and we are booking again ..thank you Alison it's a unique treasure to own ..

We spent a lovely couple of nights at Chris and Freya's cottage which is as described with a homely feel and beautiful views. Sadly we were hampered a little by storm Bert so didn't get a chance to visit the farm but nonetheless thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you're travelling from London Stourhead is a great stop!

Cosy little cottage. Beautifully presented throughout. Everything in good working order. Wood supplied for the log burner & basic staples in the kitchen, lovely touch of a bottle of Prosecco & milk. Excellent location for exploring Braunton & the surrounding areas. Easy access to the Tarka trail. Would definitely recommend & would love to revisit.

Gorgeous property in a very private and peaceful location. Amy was the perfect host, letting us check in early and always being on hand if we had any questions. Everything was clean and well looked after, fresh bedding and towels ready to go and the house had everything anyone could need to settle straight in. Would love to come back soon.

This was not my first visit to this cottage. I had to come back again. It is the absolutely most perfect location, within easy reach of shops, restaurants, pubs, and beaches, but completely tucked away and so lovely and quiet. The cottage itself is warm, cosy, extremely comfortable, very quiet and just feels like home away from home. Thanks Rich for another lovely break. I will be back again!

Sarah was so kind and accommodating. We loved her dog and geese and she left us some delicious fudge too. Really lovely location, and Boscastle is fabulous with great food and great pubs and friendly locals. Lots of places to go for very long walks and the Boscastle farm shop was really worth the visit if you look good food and lots of cake!

This cottage turns out to be a real gem. Every room downstairs is carefully designed to be sympathetic to the original house, and yet manages to be really upmarket and still cosy. Kitchen was amazing. Upstairs and downstairs bathroom/cloakroom deserves a round of applause for its design and look. You do need to like walking to stay here. We loved it. Would deffo stay again.

Me and my family had the best stay at Simons place. He had thought of everything you could possibly need while away. We loved the fire, even purchased more logs from the cute community shop, so we could enjoy the fire each evening. I personally really enjoyed the hot tub, felt so relaxed in it. Beautiful small village, loved the real community feel and the shop. Would not hesitate to recommend Simon as a fantastic host.

The house is absolutely beautiful, it's better than the photos. When we walked in the smell was amazing. Great location, would recommend. Love, love, love!!

We had a great stay at Nicola's in her lovely warm cottage which was very convenient for our family wedding nearby. Nothing was too much trouble, be it wood for the burner in the conservatory or more milk for our breakfasts and she made is a delicious loaf of bread and gave us freshly laid eggs from her hens. The location was peaceful and quiet in beautiful surroundings.

What a wonderful place! I’d recommend staying here come rain or shine. It’s the perfect little cosy spot to take in the countryside and enjoy the beautiful views. Harriet was a great host who communicated quickly. The place is so accommodating for dogs with cute little treats too. We enjoyed a beautiful fire and were even surprised by some welcome brownies!! I don't really know where to start with this review as this place is something truly special. Barbara was easy to communicate with and our hosts at the property Bob and Sue were a lovely couple and super helpful, we felt right at home from the start. We were a party of 16 and 4 dogs split between the 3 cottages to celebrate our mum's 80th birthday! We spent most of our time in Great Cleave which we called the 'party house', it had everything you could possibly need and the huge table was great for entertaining. The other 2 cottages Little Cleave and Old Orchard were as equally well equipped and comfortable with lovely beds, the duvets were freshly ironed and everything was very clean. Thoughtfully, all the log burners and BBQs had been prepped ready for use including fire lighters, logs, matches and briquettes. The swimming pool and sauna were wonderful, lots of fun and a true gem as was the games room! Memories were made that will last a lifetime and we will definitely return.

We spent a lovely few days here with our friends. Scrumpy cottage is in a great location with lots to see and do locally and a great place to be in the dark evenings or when the weather isn’t so good. The New Inn nearby serves good food with a curry night on Wednesdays. The Perry’s cider barn in the village is worth a visit for a coffee or breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and warm cottage, thank you to Suzy and Andrew for being great hosts and for the cake and cider. Very highly recommended.
