Our stay at this cabin was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cozy yet modern charm of the space. One of the highlights of our trip was the hot tub. It was perfectly maintained and sparkling clean. Inside, the cabin was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing getaway.

Great host and very nice lodging. Located inside Wintergreen resort and a short few mins drive to the mountain for skiing. The sauna and hot tub were amazing after a full day’s skiing. 100% recommend and would stay here again!

This home was exactly as advertised. The layout was open and spacious. Beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. The only negative was spotty internet that impacted the tv watching but that is outside of the control of the renters. We didn’t use the kitchen to cook but it was totally equipped for everything. We have already recommended this rental to a friend and will try to stay here again in the future.

My girlfriend and I stayed the weekend and as soon as we stepped through the door, we were amazed. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. Right off the back porch is a little creek that you can easily hear the running water. The house is fully stocked with amenities and household needs including spices and seasonings to cook with! The hot tub was perfect and easy to use. Will definitely recommend to anyone and plan to come back ourselves. The cabin truly had a relaxing and loving energy to it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are absolutely in love with the cabin and the property surrounding it. The pictures don’t do it justice for how lovely everything is. Everything you could want and need. Stayed here twice now and am looking forward to staying many more times!

Oliver and Natasha were absolutely amazing and accommodating. We stayed here for one night as we made our cross country trek with our animals and they worked with us and communication was above and beyond! Highly recommended. Very beautiful cabin in a great area with lovely views! Saving their place and look forward to coming back! Cabin was extremely clean, everything well kept and in order. Jacuzzi was amazing. This place felt like the log cabin i've always wanted. King size bed in separate bedroom was great! Thank you Oliver & Natasha!

Beautiful gorgeous cabin worth every Penny! Ty Monica for letting us stay at your stunning cabin despite the weather being questionable. She alerted us about snowy conditions and prepared the cabin spectacularly for our arrival. The driveway and walkways were cleaned and salted. The cabin itself was so cozy and warm! We would have loved to stay there longer. Definitely recommending it to all our friends!

this was our fourth time staying at Sally and John's cabin, and as usual we felt right at home curling up by the fire. We appreciated that since we've last been at the cabin they upgraded the heater in the bedroom (definitely helpful as it got very cold out second night!) and added a full bed in the upstairs loft (a great place to sleep, including a nearby outlet, if you're too hot). We love coming here and would love to come back! 😃

We traveled to Lexington to compete with our dog in agility trials at the VA Equine Center. The property was beautiful with breathtaking views from the porch. Very convenient to the show site and to downtown. Amanda and David were proactive in clearing and salting a path before we got there. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the gate at the porch steps so our dog could be out on the deck with us for morning coffee. We will definitely be back again. Loved it!

John was excellent about communicating while we stayed at the house. And when the snow got my buddy’s car stuck he came to the rescue. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great place to get away and enjoy nature while having modern comforts! This place exceeded my expectations. Loved the holiday decorations and the personal touches that made it feel like home. Notes: They have a hard water softener, which makes the water taste metallic, so bring bottled water or a water filter. Also, it is secluded from major stores, so be sure to bring all your supplies with you.

Absolutely beautiful property! Very private, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed walking the trails with our dog and since we had mostly rain, relaxing in front of the fireplace reading and listening to music. We did venture out to walk the Chessie Trail, see the Natural Bridge, cross the James River on the footbridge, and check out Lexington downtown area. Would love to come back in another season. Thanks for being pet friendly!

Everything was great for a nice weekend getaway. Very private, the dogs were able to run through the woods with no worries. We decided to drive to the wineries which were about an hour away. The deck and fire pit were perfect to watch the sunset over the valley! The gas stove wasn't working but he had a nice electric burner to cook on. Overall the place looked very new and was very clean!

The property was absolutely stunning & the cabin was gorgeous! A great place to unwind & get back to nature. Matt & Erin were responsive throughout the process & we thank them for sharing their gem with us!!

We love this place so much that we got MARRIED there! My now-husband and I stayed there two other times in the last 7 years and it became such a special place to us that we had our tiny 6-person wedding ceremony on their dock. Beverly was the most delightful and accommodating host and gave us tons of recommendations for local musicians and catering— we had it all covered already but we were so thankful for the extra care she showed us. It was a simply perfect wedding surrounded by mountains, changing leaves, the beautiful old cabin, and the gorgeous lake full of little fish and newts, followed by a trip to a local brewery and distillery for great food and drinks. We loved getting visited by their friendly dogs and watching their goats graze on the mountainside. The cabin is cozy and warm, the beds are comfortable, and the lack of cell service and WiFi is so peaceful (remember to print directions beforehand!). We love Parr’s Camp tremendously and hope to visit many more times!

We have stayed at many places in Lynchburg. We particularly enjoyed our stay here because it always felt safe and above all, even though it is small and very quaint- it was perfect for my husband and I and our aging dog. The host had many nice touches that made us feel at home. We will stay again in the future.

Such a great cabin for some much needed TLC. We were hoping to hike the Peaks of Otter, but the weather had other plans. We arrived kind of late, but Andy met us at the farm entrance & led the way up the hill to the cabin. He showed us around & have us lots of helpful information. We spent the rainy day driving around the mountains & checking out historic Bedford. We stopped off at Beale’s Brewery for some local beer & food. Great spot! Then for dinner had Bella’s Italian, which was phenomenal! The garlic knots were addicting! We spent the evening relaxing on the back porch enjoying the peaceful views. Sunday the weather was much better so we hiked to the top of the property for the spectacular views. We cooked breakfast in the kitchen each morning, we had everything we needed. The bed was very cozy & the gas fireplaces were so nice & warm! Couldn’t ask for a better cabin getaway! We’ll definitely come back to take another shot at hiking the peaks!

Amazing host! I had sent him a message about checking in a few hours early to we could set up some things for my sisters 50th birthday. Not only did Micheal respond fast he he was all for it! Upon arrival there was an amazing bottle or red wine from VA and a personalized note wishing my sister a happy birthday and hope we have a great time at the cabin! Great hosts!! And we will definitely will be back!!!

This place was wonderful! The air bnb is a very beautiful, unique and fun historical home! Janeen was very accommodating and very responsive! The air bnb is stocked with everything you could possibly need! The back porch over looking the river was my favorite spot! Very peaceful and serene! I loved this place and would definitely stay again.

It was so peaceful and was just what we needed for a couple days after Christmas. Everything was just as described, and Martha gave me a couple of great recommendations for food and places to hike. We loved seeing the horses and cows every day, and it felt just like home to us. We would definitely book here again!

Tania was great, place is beautiful and clean and in a fantastic location. Great areas to relax, play pool, have hot tubs and watch TV by the fire. The area was beautiful and close to the resort and other points of interest.
