Et godt utgangspunkt for å oppleve Sørlandet med kun ca. 45 min. kjøretur til Kristiansand, Mandal og Evje. Dette er stedet å mellomlande, men også stedet å feriere! Under 1 times kjøring til Dyreparken. 15 minutter til Mandalselva kjent for sitt laksefiske. Mange andre flotte reisemål i nærområdet. The place is family friendly with cats and hens, in addition to a large garden with several seating areas. Good hiking and swimming facilities nearby and close to shop and bus stop. Free parking.

Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Great family apartment on the ground floor with stunning views to Lysefjorden. Closer to the fjord you won't be coming The apartment has a double terrace door onto the mountain. You will have a feeling of being “at sea”, once you enter the apartment. Large bedroom with double bed, with possibility to close down two extra beds if you are many people going to share the apartment. The second bedroom has family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.

The road has a boom at both ends. 100m from bike route 3 Very fast internet. Swimming area in the river 50 m from the cabin . Many hiking trails. Rowboat can be borrowed from about April to about November. A lot of small fish in the river. No need for a fishing license.
