Vacation rentals in Luukki

It was a pleasure staying with you guys. The area was cozy and peaceful. The house was atmospheric and the beds were really comfortable. There was a gentle steam in the sauna. I can highly recommend the destination!

I stayed for almost 3 weeks at Ossi's place and loved it! A bit outside of the city centre, it is located in a peaceful neighbourhood with a bus station only a 2 min walk away (the city center reachable in ~12 min), several grocery stores and restaurants nearby, and a wonderful park and coastline about a 15 min walk away. Seeing the sun rise above the sea is beautiful from there! Ossi's place is beautifully furnished, cozy and homey. The kitchen and bathroom are very generous in size, the bed comfortable, the heating system excellent, and I also loved the beautiful (winter) balcony. It was generally very clean when I came, though some places (e.g. the dispensing drawer for the detergent in the washing machine, or the top of the kitchen exhaust fan) could benefit from some more regular cleaning. That is, however, only a tiny complaint, because I all in all I felt very quickly at home there, and Ossi's responsive & helpfulness only added to my positive experience. Would come again!

House is decorated very pretty - feels like you step into a page of a magazine. House as a whole has an interesting design - it's circular, so you literally can have a feeling of "walking in circles" until you get used to it, it's nice though, almost fairy-tale like. There's plenty to read, lots of magazines and books around. The kitchen is well stacked with essentials like frying pans and such. There are pretty glass ware and teacups to enjoy tea from, basically all you need to eat in comfortably. The upstairs bedroom is pretty and spacious. Bed is comfortable and large. The bathtub and sink in the upstairs bedroom is in the bedroom area itself, pretty design. Toilet upstairs has its own section, right next to bedroom, important to notice though - there is no door between toilet area and bedroom itself. There's very good ventilation so bedroom does not retain any unpleasant scents, if you know what I mean, so it is still very convenient. The toilet section is prettily designed just like the bedroom and spacious. There's a sauna (via door from the toilet area), so if you are into that talk to Timo ahead to have it set up for you. Upstairs bedroom also has a small balcony with some pretty wines all over it, large main window. The view over the lake is spectacular, breathtaking trully. To note - you can't go down (at least to my knowledge), as the house is on a steep mountain. The downstairs 2 bedrooms are very simple, small rooms with sliding beds. The beds are comfortable, however when the second one slide out then there's only a small area to walk. It's no problem though, as they're just used for sleep. The tv section is tricky - it has a very comfy reclining chaise, but not much room for other people, so ideally there's just room for 1 person to watch tv, unless you bring in chairs from the dining area of living room. Dining area has a wonderful, huge table, very convenient, comfortable chairs and close to kitchen section. Downstairs shower room - has 2 shower heads next to each other (no partition in the middle), and then there's another sauna room. There's also washer and dryer room. Outside of house is decorated very pretty too - there are multiple sitting areas and the views are just lovely all around. There are also a row of apple trees on the driveway! Very tasty apples! Overall, great experience, good communication with the owner and very well put together place. I would rent there again if I go to Finland. Oh also, there's music system, so pretty much rainy days are no problem - there will be something to do inside. Sitting on the white couch and watching rain over lake view was a profound experience, very calming and relaxing. I highly recommend Timo's house! Thanks Timo and Anti for everything:)

Very nice flat, very easy to access from Helsinki center, and perfect for a family with a small child. Our son was very happy to have his little bed with many toys to play with !

Tero’s place was perfect for our large family. Nice quiet location near the beach but easy to get to the city. I would definitely come again and strongly recommend.

We had a very nice stay and felt very comfortable. The apartment was very cozy and the nearby lake perfect for cooling off after the sauna. The apartment is heated with air conditioning, so there is a certain noise level in the living room, but we got used to it over time. In the bedroom, the air conditioning can't be heard. There is always a very pleasant temperature in the apartment.

It was a very pleasant trip in this apartment. It has every commodities you can imagine and it is very well located with the public transports just next to. Don’t hesitate if you plan to spend some days in Helsinki Thanks Tuula !

We had a fantastic time staying at Juhani’s home. It was immaculate and had all the essentials we needed. It was so cozy and quiet. The location was perfect and parking was accommodating. Overall, our experience was amazing. We were greeted with a tour and did not need to reach out as everything was perfect. Thank you for adding to our very memorable visit to Finland. We can not recommend this home highly enough. I would definitely stay here again, if it’s available.
