Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lower Garden District, New Orleans

PERFECTION!!!!!!! Will absolutely be staying here again. It’s a Gem. The house is great. Even better is the host. Very responsive, helpful, friendly, just great service all around. We can’t say enough great things about our stay. Best part, they even allowed us to bring our elderly large breed dogs so that we didn’t have to worry about them being cared for at home while we were gone. The back yard was fully fenced and secured, our dogs frolicked like they were puppies again. We found so many great places close by to eat. The views from the ferry ride to the quarter were stunning. This place is a must stay!!!

Jacob was an extremely responsive host! Our flight arrived super early and I reached out and he responded immediately. He also had items that we could purchase onsite so we did not have to go to Walmart. House was very nice and exactly as pictured! My Sisters and I appreciated being able to stay together!

This stay was great! Hosts were so proactive and responsive and made sure we had all the information we could possibly need for a seamless stay. They were also so kind and flexible! The place was perfect and we came as a group of 5. Had more than enough space and everything was tidy and comfortable. The area was just about 15 mins from downtown so really easy to get around during the day or Uber at night. Highly recommend!

Everything was very nice felt very much home and safe Donald was very friendly and responsive I will definitely book again thank you again for having me and my friends everything was 10/10 And master bed was nice and clean wanted to take the bathroom with me 🥰

Rodney and Kennedi always responded very quickly, which to me is the most important thing because it is how we solve issues or answer questions. Very friendly as well! We also appreciated getting access earlier than the listed time. There were some minor issues like a broken washing machine and luke-warm shower, but nothing major. The location is right at the northeast end of the French Quarter so we spent the week without a vehicle, able to access all the great culture and activities on foot, as well as cook some meals at home. It was an amazing vacation! Lastly the outdoor hot tub is enormous with walls to provide privacy, and we relaxed there every day. Highly recommended!

This was our first time to New Orleans! The house was adorable and Gabriella was a fantastic Host! So close to all the fun! Ubers galore in the area-I wouldn’t mess with driving ;) would stay again if we ever make our way to New Orleans in the future!

We had a great stay at Reilly’s place! It’s walkable to Garden District restaurants and shops, and it’s easy to get to other parts of New Orleans. It was comfortable and warm (it was cold outside during our stay). Also, Reilly let us check in early and was very responsive and friendly. I’ll stay here again the next time I’m in town.

Our stay in New Orleans was brief but great! The house is beautiful!! It’s even better than the pictures!! It’s a nice remodel with updated appliances! It gives a home away from home feel. I loved the security features on each door! We were a few minutes away from everything. Some may say walking distance from the French Quarters, I’m not a walker, so I can’t say that! The house is also less than 15 minutes away from several of the restaurants we wanted to try. If you’re looking for somewhere modern & spacious, book this house! 9 women stayed here & had no issues with getting in & out the bathrooms, or space. Chris was a great host. He checked on us throughout the weekend, if I had a question, he responded quickly. We’ll definitely be booking again when we visit!!

Lovely hosts. Very clean and bigger space than I expected. We love this Bywater location and hope to be back soon. Easy walk to coffee, bars and restaurants and we had no issues parking right in front of house. Comfortable bed. Having a big bottle of water and laundry detergent were nice extras from the hosts.

Erich's place has that "New Orleans Feel" to it. The 1st floor ceilings have to be 14 feet tall. The property is a duplex. Inside we found that the placed matched the photos and everything was very clean. The windows on the 1st floor let in natural light and the furniture was comfortable. This property is very walkable to the St. Charles line of the NOLA RTA Streetcars. We bought an RTA pass at the local Walgreens and rode the Streetcars everywhere (the "Jazzy" pass is also good for busses and ferries). There are local restaurants also very walkable, and Erich was kind enough to leave a printed information sheet describing some of these destinations. As we were visiting in December, the temperature throughout the house was great. If you are tall like I am, watch your head coming down the staircase. The neighborhood was quiet and looked to be well taken care of. This location offers an about 6 - 8 minute Uber Ride to the French Quarter and other downtown locations.

Kim made sure to correct her mistake. Very apologetic. She made us feel safe and let us know if we needed anything she was a call away. The home was very clean and homey. Everything was close. We loved everything.

We enjoyed our stay here! The home was spacious and we appreciated that it had multiple bathrooms. It was convenient to the French Quarter where we were attending a wedding, so we were back and forth a lot and had no issues getting around. Loved the historic charm of the house and neighborhood. Very quintessential New Orleans!

Absolutely wonderful experience! All of these years coming to New Orleans and I'd walk by this grand house on St Charles and wonder what it was like inside! This is the true New Orleans experience, Uptown with an expansive, private deck overlooking the mighty oaks & streetcar of St Charles Avenue- heaven! You can feel the history! Don't miss a chance to stay in this stunning home!

This listing was perfect for a group of 4 and what we were looking for. This place was close to where we were going and had what we needed. the host was clear with info and instructions and I would definitely rent this again.

This charming shotgun house in Mid City had a great location in a quiet residential neighborhood. Close to Morning Call and Cafe du Monde in City Park. Shopping and restaurants close by. The house was far removed from the noise and numbers found in the French Quarter and Central Business District, but one can easily reach them by a scenic, half hour streetcar ride with a stop just a short block away. You don't want to drive to the Quarter: the streets are torn up and crowded pedestrians, not all of whom are completely sober, and parking is nearly impossible to find on the street, and New York City prices are charged for secured private parking. Every other location in the city is just a short drive from Ian's house. My wife and I found it an ideal place for a long weekend.

Came down for a getaway for my anniversary and this place was so cozy and romantic . Lauren was super responsive everything had sticky notes which I so loved around the house perfect communication I will be booking again next time I come into town perfect location for restaurants etc

Great place to stay while in New Orleans. Walking distance from a number of sights and restaurants, as well as a comfortable place to take it easy when you need a moment's rest.

My group and I had a great time. The chateau impressed us. Well maintained, very clean and spacious not to mention the ambiance….definitely a must see! Michael was extremely responsive and also provided additional information to make our trip one to remember. He was very accommodating and really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Would most definitely recommend this site and would be top of the list if we visited the beautiful NOLA again. Thank you for being a part of an amazing trip!

Had a fabulous family Christmas vacation at this Airbnb! Wilson was the on site property manager/concierge and he was accessible, responsive, friendly and communicated wonderfully to any concerns we had. Bathrooms and kitchen were well done. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable with good bedding. Fun to stay in a famous chef’s previous home. Courtyard was wonderful - we spent a lot of time out there. Our only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub was unavailable from our first day through our second to last day. That was a top amenity priority for me in choosing this property. Wilson, was diligent in getting it fixed and communicating about the status, however. I would certainly return here for future visits to New Orleans!

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We booked very last minute and it was the perfect place on a budget. We needed 3 bed rooms and was hard to find without spending a fortune. Large house and besides the roosters waking you it was perfect. It was a pretty quiet neighborhood. Overall we were happy and Marcus was so nice and responsive.

Michael was a very responsive host. He answered every question. Maintenance was frequently on property. Other guest in compound were friendly. Courtyard was so relaxing and beautiful. One Uber driver complimented the neighborhood as hugely improved, safe and popular. Thanks for a lovely stay in NOLA.
