Vacation rentals in Lower Dunsforth

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous. It’s so beautifully decorated and furnished with great taste and has everything you could possibly want. The beds are so comfy, the heating’s really responsive and the kitchen’s perfectly fitted out. We live in the middle of nowhere and are always wary about noise when we go places but the cottage is totally silent, right on the outer edge of the village (& we loved that there are blinds as well as curtains that make it dark if you want it to be). The Forrester’s Arms, a five minute walk, is amazing: lovely service and all homemade. We thought it was “the best pub food ever!” Such lovely walks literally on the doorstep. It’s the perfect place to explore beautiful Yorkshire from. We loved every moment. Ed was great and communicated so helpfully. There isn’t much Wi-Fi nearby so I’d screen-shotted the directions which were clear and accurate and it was easy with the map. We can’t recommend it highly enough

Amazing luxury cottage . What a find , gorgeous cosy and modern cottage , has everything you could need . Lovely little touches like fresh bread , milk and robes provided . Spotlessly clean , lovely festive decor . Hot tub and log burner were so lovely . Lisa was a great host and checked in. Lots of recommendations where to go near by , short taxi ride to Richmond , loved all little pubs and cafes . Loved sitting and taking in peace and quiet . Was a slice of heaven , hope to return soon’ thank you so much ☺️ xxx

A really lovely house, immaculately kept and in a brilliant location for enjoying all York has to offer without the need of a car. Everything we needed was to hand, and the owners were easy to communicate with, and had left useful and friendly instructions. My sons and I had a great few days, and I'll be recommending this house on to family and friends (and hopefully I'll be back there again myself!).

Nice and cosy flat with everything we needed in a great area with the ease of walking to the shops. We would definitely recommend and would love to go back to Harrogate.

Catherine’s place was a gem of a find. My wife and I come to York every year for our wedding anniversary and stay in an air BnB and Catherine’s has to be one of the best ones so far, if not the best. This is so peaceful here, parking is just opposite the apartment and it’s only a short walk into town, it’s just great. Catherine was always very responsive when contacted.

We had a lovely weekend stay in November. Location is great right next to the river, some very steep hills to negotiate to get into town (we were expecting this). Clive was on holiday and the house sitters did a great job of welcoming us. Everything was sparkling clean and the apartment was fitted out really well. We would love to stay in the warmer weather to take advantage of the outside sitting area overlooking the river. There was some noise from the house above, it didn’t really bother us and wasn’t a problem. Looking forward to returning for another weekend break soon.
