Our cozy 1 bedroom cabin is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape. Located on 26 acres where deer and turkey roam. Just a few minutes away from I-84 and Hood River. Please be aware that a 4WD vehicle may be required for accessing the property during the snowy season of December, January and February. Loved the place I would go back again. Would love to go back when it is warmer so we could enjoy sitting out back on the deck and listening to the river. Couple of things to keep in mind. It tells you that they will give you a bundle of wood but if you want to start a fire in the fireplace for each day you are there you will definitely need to bring your own wood. The internet is very spotty. Tried watching Netflix and it would stop on us to look for internet service again. We had a hard time figuring out the TV and what remote to use to get to Netflix and so forth. They do good on giving you directions on how to turn the surround sound on but we didn’t see anything about the TV. There is a road right next to the house and cars drive very fast on it so make sure to watch pets. But again I liked the place.

The moment I pulled up to the cabin I realized it was going to be a really special stay. Definitely one of the most charming and cozy Airbnbs I’ve ever booked. Everything about this cabin feels like something you’d see in a movie. I really enjoyed how much effort was put into restoring the original charm and build. You can tell a lot of time went into it! Being able to relax by the fire or open one of the windows to look out into the moss and fern covered surrounds was perfect. I’d love to have a reason to stay again sometime but maybe with a few more friends! Also the hiking within a few minutes drive in mt. hood national forest is UNREAL. Just book it.

My husband and I haven’t gotten away in a long time, part due to not having a pet sitter. I found Paula’s cabin on Airbnb and it sounded perfect AND dogs were welcome! This was my first time using Airbnb and I know I wasn’t an ideal guest since I didn’t have any history, reviews, etc.. but luckily Paula allowed us to rent her property. This cabin was beautiful!! All the amenities of home but with the most perfect, peaceful setting. The property was amazing and the dogs had such a ball running around and going in the river. Paula has lots of games, music, and dvd’s to entertain. We really did nothing except play outside with dogs, watch movies, and enjoyed great conversations with my husband. The cabin is fully stocked of anything you may have forgotten. Paula was amazing the entire time with answering any questions I had during our stay!! You will not be disappointed with staying at Paula’s cabin❤️

We took off for a few days to get away with friends to celebrate our 50th anniversary. I happened on the Palmer Cabin after weeks of searching. It was exactly what I was looking for. It was in a great location, lots to do and see in the area, quiet and comfortable. The hot tub was great and sitting by the gas fire place in the evening was nice. We did most of our cooking there and the kitchen was well stocked with last-minute stuff that we may have forgot to bring. Check in and check out Instructions were easily understood. Would definitely come back here again.

We had a very relaxing stay. The cabin is very cozy & just like the photos. The forest surrounding it is beautiful & gives a lot of privacy. The host has thought of everything. The cabin is well stocked with everything needed, & for a rustic mountain cabin, it was nice & clean. We loved the decor. The bed & linens were very comfortable. The host was communicative & helpful. The Skyway Bar & Grill was a great suggestion, we very much enjoyed a dinner there. It’s a little tricky to find, the address from GPS directs you the house on the road infront of the cabin. You have to go further down the road & up a gravel road/driveway, but it wasn’t hard to figure out. Our AWD Tiguan made it up the bumpy/steep driveway just fine. There was lots of trillium blooming, it was beautiful! There was space to fetch our dogs. The hot tub was very clean, hot, well lit & covered from the elements. The proximity to Mt.Hood is great, my husband spent a day there snowboarding. We will book again! Ty!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth’s cottage very much. Everything was as advertised and then some. Wonderful thoughtful touches and very peaceful. Definitely a nice recharge and good for the soul. Reminded us of our visits to cabins in Northern Wisconsin so cozy and warm. Would definitely recommend.

What a great place! We had a super peaceful, and very comfortable long weekend at Matthew's cabin. Directions and house instructions were very helpful and clear. We definitely felt at home right away. The combo of beautiful surroundings (and lots more to explore in the area), wood stove and hot tub checks all the boxes for us. Thank you so much for the wonderfully rejuvenating experience!
