Guesthouse vacation rentals in Los Gatos

Cute guesthouse, total privacy, great location in Santa Cruz. Sarah sent clear instructions and we had no problem finding extra towels, coffee, etc. There’s even a little s’mores kit included to utilize the fire pit—which we unfortunately didn’t have time to use. Street parking was easy to find and we could walk to the pier or SC downtown. Very much recommend and would stay again.

Amy's place was wonderful - one of the few places we've ever stayed that was even better in person than in pictures. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for the 2 of us. The outdoor space was amazing, plenty of quiet spaces to lounge in the sun and walk around. The area was great as well, quiet but close to downtown, and Amy was a thoughtful and responsive host, we really appreciated her thoughtfulness. The one thing to note is that the Wi-fi could be unreliable - we both worked from the Airbnb, and made it work for the week, but something to note for future visitors. We'd definitely recommend this place and plan to come back next time we visit. Thank you Amy!

This was an EXCELLENT Airbnb. Great value, beautiful property, plenty of privacy, exceptionally good instructions form the hosts. I can not recommend highly enough. Great place to recharge.

Our stay here was great. The house was clean and comfortable, all amenities described in the listing were available, and it was really quiet and private for being a guest cottage. The hot tub was definitely our favorite part. Erin was great with communication. She proactively sent messages to let us know different things about the property (hot tub, trash, etc), and was quick to respond to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect place to decompress during a busy work trip. The space is beautiful, and the attached gym is such a nice treat! Everything was exactly as described, clean and lovely. I would definitely stay again!

Had an absolutely lovely stay at Rezan’s place. She was the utmost in hospitableness and thoughtfulness The property is absolutely gorgeous, filled with birds and trees and flowers and the sound of frogs, statuary, walking paths, places to sit and enjoy the environment, a little pond with fountain, and just minutes to downtown Los Gatos. I had the best stay.

Ray’s place is like a home away from home tor us and we appreciate especially his accommodating change that arose this trip - quiet house, convenient location, and everything we needed.

Stayed at Arthur’s to attend a SAP Center event. Planned to Uber but found the neighborhood very walkable. Place is nicely tucked away and quiet away from the street and main house. We only had trouble street parking on our first night which was a Thursday after 5pm. Otherwise it was fine. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Super cute place! Our kids loved the ducks and horses across the street. They couldn’t wait to explore! The house is very well stocked- games, kids toys, cookware, laundry soap… everything you can think of! We had a really great time, and it’s such a unique place to get to stay!

We really enjoyed staying at Yao's place! It's located in a quiet, safe neighborhood while also being conveniently close to many great restaurants and other parts of the South Bay. The space is spacious, superbly clean, and has all the amenities one could ask for. Yao was a friendly and responsive host, and we would definitely stay again!

Marilynn has been great and very responsive when we have stayed there. The place is well-stocked and maintained, and San Carlos is a friendly town with good restaurants and boutique shopping.

Very cozy and private. I brought my family of four and we had a lovely time. The only tricky part is figure out how to lock the door, but if that’s the worst of it, then I’d say it was pretty amazing. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach along nature paths and side streets. Definitely worth it!

Thanks for the stay! The bed was very comfortable, and the space was private and quiet. The room is quite large and nicely divided into the sleeping area, sitting area, and eating area. And parking on the street was aplenty.

Julie's stay was everything an airbnb should be - peaceful, clean and reasonably priced! Conveniently located by Palo Alto and Mountain View, it's a superior option to many of the outdated hotels. Would absolutely stay again!

We felt right at home in this cozy Air bnb. The garden areas surrounding the property are beautiful. We had everything we needed and more in the kitchen where we made breakfast every morning. Lots of cookware and cabinet full of spices. Super clean. Bed was comfortable. Walking distance to downtown San Carlos was about 23 minutes. The host checked in regularly with us online and we appreciated the attention. Was sad to leave when our time was up. We hope to return as we have family in the area.

Christina’s place was perfect. Everything was as described in the listing. The views of San Jose were amazing. This is a very good location with security, inside a gated compound. We totally loved our stay here and will recommend Christina’s place to friends. We will definitely be back. Thank you Christina and Chris for hosting us!

Our stay at Kyle’s was lovely and easy! It was a perfect home base for our adventures in the nearby state parks. The chickens are very cute, but if you’re a light sleeper looking for quiet, you may hear them in the morning. The eggs are amazing and such a wonderful addition to a comfortable stay. We had everything we needed and then some! Would definitely stay again during a trip to the Santa Cruz area.

My grandpa and grandma stayed here and they said this was the best bead and breakfast they have experienced in their life. huge thanks to Silvia for being responsive and making my grandparents feel at home!

Great host, very quick to respond the place was wonderful and I enjoyed my stay there and will be definitely looking forward to staying here in the future as well five stars highly recommended!

The space is accurately described. It is very private, a modestly sized one bedroom duplex with everything you need like washer dryer and full kitchen amenities. I liked that it was so close to the beach and restaurants too, we had Tramonti and it was great. If this is available during my next vacation I will definitely try to reserve it again

Mary’s Place is wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Most importantly, we want to thank Mary for generously opening her home to host us. We feel it’s important to point out that many Airbnb guests in America often overlook the effort and generosity it takes for a host to open their private space to the public. They arrive with their own expectations, sometimes forgetting that the host also has their own style and preferences for managing their home. Too often, guests project their desires as requirements and leave comments without considering the host’s perspective. As a fellow host, I understand this challenge well. Many of the criticisms I’ve received are based on guests’ personal expectations rather than what was actually listed or promised. That said, Mary handled this challenge with grace and professionalism. She went above and beyond to meet the highest standards of hospitality. I truly admire her and highly recommend Mary’s Place as a top choice for the travelers

The Casita is a wonderful place to stay - everything is sparkly clean, nice layout (love the separation of the dining area from the bedroom), easy to get around. Highly recommend!

Our stay was excellent. The place was very clean and well-maintained. Communication with the host was quick, and they were always available for any questions or recommendations. I would definitely recommend this place to other travelers and would stay here again in the future.
