Bluebell Staycation

A lovely stay! Very comfortable, clean and welcoming caravan. Well equipped - esp for children with potty, steps in bathrooms and many games which we played in the evenings. Comfortable beds and quality bedding and towels. Ample space to sit on the decking or the cosy back garden if weather is good. Karen always responded within 5 mins to any questions we had - though we didn't need to ask for anything as it was all provided. We were pleased to be in a quiet spot on the site as we were not really interested in the entertainment block - not our thing and quite busy. However, it is just a short walk to a lovely, peaceful beach with rockpools to explore after a tasty ice cream from Crosswell Ices. Only 35 mins drive to beautiful Alnwick Castle and Gardens so we had a day in each of these. NB We planned to eat in the walkable Greek restaurant but person at Drift Cafe said it had closed down "for the foreseeable future" so we drove to Widdrington Inn for a lovely meal (book first).

We booked for only 2 nights with not much notice. Great set up for the 3 of us. Could have spent longer there. Not easy to find initially but Jamie responded with remarkable swiftness! Appreciated the flexibility on check out as well. All good.

Property was exactly what we were looking for, felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Neutral decor and comfortable furnishing. We had an issue with the boiler one day, but with prompt communication this was sorted asap. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thank you

We had a great stay at Jay's place. The house had everything we needed in terms of amenities, and was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Jaya was very responsive and attended to all our needs. Anyway, only regret was that we only stayed one night ! Hope to come again to Jaya's place for our next visit in Newcastle !

Alma Meadow Glamping

I can't fault this place, nice and local yet you feel a million miles away. Spotlessly clean and all the amenities you could need. A park and grassed area for the kids to play, and it's secluded and safe. Lovely pubs nearby too (as well as parks etc). The host Abbie was fab, really responsive, friendly and flexible.. would definitely recommend a visit here 😄
A clean and modern kitchen is showcased with white cabinetry and a wooden countertop. Stainless steel appliances are integrated, including an oven and microwave. Natural light comes through a window, highlighting the tiled backsplash and marble flooring.
