Vacation rentals with a kayak in Long Island Sound

The house felt like coming home. Everything you need was provided. The location is beautiful as is the surrounding area. We needed proximity to family and this was a perfect spot. All the amenities in the home were available and perfect for a weeklong stay. Thank you for a great stay!

We were looking for a place to unwind and we did with Seth’s place. Right on the river, great views, enjoyed the hot tub and very comfortable beds! We had a relaxing time.

My boy's enjoyed fishing on the back dock. The 3 full bathrooms was definitely nice. kitchen was fully stocked with whatever we needed. Great restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again.

This Airbnb was truly better than the pictures. This lake house has its own private beach, is close to amazing eateries in Bantam and the house itself is modern and clean on the inside and is an amazing space to spend time. The deck and chairs as well as the fire pit and chairs on the beach make it all an amazing place to relax. Would stay again!!

We had a beautiful stay at the cabin. The views are stunning and the hot tub was glorious. A lovely escape into nature.

This was the ideal location for my husband and me to spend the holidays with our family who live across the lake. Will and John gave us a warm, friendly welcome and Quinn also checked in to make sure we settled in and had everything needed for a comfy cozy stay. It was easy to communicate with everyone and the location felt peaceful and private but not isolated. I can't imagine a more ideal experience and cannot thank Quinn enough for making this stay the best ever we've had with Airbnb!

If you are looking for simplicity (which we were) this is the perfect place to. I’ve always wanted to stay at a lake house. We couldn’t have asked for more. Serene, tranquil, beautiful are the proper descriptions of the house and the area. We came to Connecticut to visit my daughter and family and they ended up coming to our place instead. Jason was extremely helpful when needed. We would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the location was beautiful. We stayed for a few days and celebrated our early family Christmas here. It ended up snowing, which made the surrounding Connecticut forest even more beautiful. We found the cabin cozy and peaceful, with the town just 10 minutes away for anything we’d need. I definitely plan to keep this listing in mind for next time I’m visiting family in Connecticut.

We had to come to the area for a family funeral, so this was a last minute booking, and Nicole was just the best. She got us in quickly, with less than 24 hours' notice. The house is absolutely beautiful, and overlooks the equally beautiful Oxoboxo Lake. Would recommend this house to anyone needing to stay in the area. Thank you Nicole!

Stayed for a long weekend with my wife and two dogs. Cottage was comfortable and clean with an amazing view of the lake with a nice patio and access to the dock which we enjoyed. Also great location just a bit over an hour from the city but within a 15 minute drive to many great hikes and close to many great food options. Tony was also very responsive and helpful with recommendarions. Highly recommend.

I really liked all the outdoor activities my daughter and I did! Karen let us borrow the games inside the cabinet and they were pretty interesting. There's a lot of beds, and they are all comfortable. I really like the view when we were sleeping on one of the bed because you can see the lake when the sun sets or rises. It's really beautiful and I really liked spending time on the canoe and having this vacation! My family and I loved coming here and hope that we can come again. This place was so peaceful and gorgeous! We stayed here during the A Weekend in the Life event and it was such an easy drive into town and to all the activities. The house itself had great amenities and things to do! During our stay, the heater did break, but our host was on top of it. The house has a pellet stove that kept it toasty, so she had 5 bags of pellets delivered to the house for us, she had someone come out and service the pellet stove and she had someone come out to service the heat all in one day! They were accommodating and helpful. We also had our dogs with us who has plenty of space and the airbnb didn’t smell like dog. You couldn’t tell it was a pet friendly place. We loved it!

We had an amazing valentines weekend and my dog couldn’t have had more fun ! This private cabin in the neck of the woods can truly be described as a real getaway ! It has a beautiful landscape and is strapped with everything we needed and more. After a full day of hikes in the local area, we found ourselves snowed in and enjoyed some card games. We had an outdoor fire in the stone pit and made some smores. Colleen and Julian were also super accommodating for us due to the weather conditions as well. They are beyond helpful ! Thank you guys ! Will definitely be back !

Beautiful house! We enjoyed our stay and found the house to be very comfortable and cozy! The location was great and felt very secluded but yet still very close to town. Loved all the amenities the house had to offer and the dogs enjoyed playing in the yard. The art and records in the house were a great touch. We would love to come back again!

We loved our stay at Ed's cabin. it is a real gem and perfect for a long weekend away. we loved the fireplace, the rocking chairs, the windows with views out onto the lake that make you feel like you're right over the lake and in the trees. there were nice restaurants and hikes in the area, but we were perfectly content watching the lake and reading from the cabin. Ed was perfectly accommodating and extremely generous with his space, couldn't recommend more highly.

The cottage was perfect. Rocking chairs by the window for when it was chilly, chairs on the deck, chairs by the pond for when it wasn’t. Terrific recommendations from Tim, particularly the Dog Watch Cafe in Stonington Borough. Our stay was exactly the peaceful respite we needed, we just should have booked three nights!
