Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lombardy

We had a wonderful stay in Mattia and Elisabetta’s little house, located in this charming, traditional village. The location is perfect for hikes with lake views, but also for a city getaway to Lugano. We loved going on excursions with our dog to see the many nearby waterfalls, and coming back at the end of the day as the villagers gathered in a friendly atmosphere (alongside the many cats!). The drive up will put your driving skills to the test, but don’t worry you quickly get used to it. The house is perfect—comfortable, safe, and very clean. Mattia checked in with us regularly to see how our stay was going and to share recommendations. A perfect stay in the kind of Italy you dream of and love!

I had such a lovely stay at Enrica’s place! She is truly a wonderful host, exceptionally kind, helpful, and generous. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. She went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed and offered great local tips that made my visit comfortable and easy. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail made one of the best airbnd experiences i have had!

the house was much more beautiful than we expected !! very nice and big kitchenette. The locaties near the brigde and the view on Borghetto is outstanding. the swimmingpool was perfect and the host very nice and helpfull. We were even invited for pizza with his friends. We had really a very nice stay !!

The accommodation was perfect for us, clean, modern and well equipped. For our dogs, the garden was a dream. Quiet environment overlooking the lake.

We had a wonderful stay and were still able to enjoy the time in the apartment because of bad weather. The apartment was heatable and very nicely decorated. Fabrizio also gave us a good tip for eating out and also the location so close to the promenade with several playgrounds was ideal with our little daughter. The little shop nearby had delicious specialties. It was a very nice holiday in a particularly nice apartment.

Perfect location in the middle of Valtellina. Sunny, near Sondrio, walkable, with many nearby valleys and hiking trails. The house has its own private garden with a grill as well. Daria is responsive and open, great host!

Really lovely retreat. Hired a car and drove around Lake Garda and an amazing place to come back to and relax. Fantastic rooms and lovely breakfast box. A little gem highly recommend

Very clean accommodation with all the comforts required, very comfortable beds and a well-stocked and complete kitchen. Extremely quiet and traffic-free location, quiet area. Center of Sirmione reachable by shuttle a short distance from the apartment and convenient location also to reach other places of interest in the area. Everything was positive and Federica was also very available for tips on restaurants and how to get around the area.

We have had a wonderful week at Anna's apartment in Bardolino. Such a beautiful view from the balcony and a peaceful and beautiful area. The apartment was clean and fresh with a well equipped kitchen. Thank you Anna for your kindness!

The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with a beautiful view of the lake that made our mornings extra special. The host was friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions that made everything easy. In all my years of using the Airbnb platform, I have rarely met a host as helpful and friendly as Riccardo. The tips on places to visit, how to get there and small "tricks" to avoid traffic/inconvenience made our stay very pleasant. The kids loved their bedroom with bunk beds and the apartment in general is warm and welcoming. The kitchen, as small as it is, is really equipped with all the essentials for cooking (other properties claim to have the essentials in the kitchen and then they are missing potholders, colander, dish soap...). Surrounded by greenery, the property immediately gives a sense of peace and serenity. We will definitely be back for our next stay on Lake Garda!

Great apartment in a great neighborhood. The apartment is large, cozy, well appointed and very quiet. Its a classic apartment. The location is perfect for getting around Milan. There were plenty of places to eat and there is a great market around the corner. I absolutely recommend it! It would work well as a long term stay too.

We spent a week, beginning of January, in the cottage and it was very comfortable despite the negative outside temperatures. The multiple heat points (pellet stove, open fire and radiator) allowed us to be perfectly comfortable and we always had enough wood and pellets, available. Our host was lovely and caring. The cottage was very clean as well as the sheets and towels available ☺️ The cottage is located in a beautiful place, very quiet and with amazing views of the mountains. The area is very charming, lots of hikes possible and restaurants to try. I also recommend a visit to the Teglio tourist office, where we were very well received and advised. A perfect vacation! No complaints, 😌 a big thank you!

We were passing through for a stopover in the apartment. Check-in was super straightforward, communication was always easy. The apartment is highly recommended. Kitchen overall very well equipped, but a clever knife was missing. Otherwise, everything worked out. There were plenty of pizzerias for dinner within a few kilometers. For "big" cars, the driveway into the yard may be a little tight.

We very much liked the house and its surroundings. Perfect for those looking to discover the area of Lago di Como. Very close to Varenna and with an amazing view of the mountains. A place to come back to!

Alessandra's place is a great space very close to the ferry terminal and an easy walk to the main part of Varenna. Alessandra was a wonderful host and communicated in a very friendly and responsive way. Would highly recommend this place if you want to be in the central area of Lake Como. We loved our stay here.

Perfect location, 10 minutes from the center of Menaggio and the pier to take the boat to Bellagio and Vernazza. The only downside: the mattress of one of the large beds needs to be changed, it sags on one side.

We had a wonderful stay at this idyllic Airbnb in the mountains near Lake Lugano. The small Italian village exudes tranquility, perfect for switching off and relaxing. The surrounding nature with its mountains is breathtaking, and there are numerous opportunities for hikes and walks. The Airbnb itself is immaculately clean and cozy – a perfect place to get away from it all. If you are looking for peace, nature and Italian village idyll, this is the place to be. We will definitely be back!

We felt at home as soon as we arrived. A luminous space, very comfortable and clean, and with all we needed for our stay. There were also some welcoming home made pastries, which made our breakfast special. Perfect! Highly recommended.
