Spent a beautiful week after Christmas with my family. Was a perfect farm stay, quiet and picturesque, lots of walks, sitting by the fire reading and cooking. All amenities well provided, had raclette on NYE. An amazing stay.

Friendly hosts beyond our expectations enchanting or even magical place, accessible for people with reduced mobility or the elderly, and impeccable if you have children, they can only enjoy themselves in the castle garden or in the pool which is protected by a barrier Large apartment where everyone can find their privacy, very practical and carefully decorated with a rustic modern mix Wonderful stay, everyone was delighted (the Pal next door is the icing on the cake). thank you

Was lovely to stay here for a week. Everything is well arranged, and good reception. Enjoyed our stay at this location. Furthermore, the supermarket and other things are easy to drive to, so plenty to do in the area.

We enjoyed the absolute tranquility and the castle with its unique nature. We were able to see the area again and again from the castle window and the beautiful garden. I booked Chateau Lamothe for 11 guys for my 50th birthday celebration based on the fantastic reviews. We were not disappointed. Damien was very communicative and provided great recommendations for transport and private dining. The chateau is located about 30 min from the centre of Bordeaux in a beautifully wooded area. You feel immediately at peace upon driving up the tree-lined driveway. They provided a tour of the incredible limestone cellars beneath the chateau. The wines produced at the chateau are truly outstanding for the price. The Sauternes style and Prestige Cuvee bottles were my favorite. A 12th century church is a short walk away in the old bourg of Haux. Truly a magical place to spend a few amazing days in Bordeaux. I would highly recommend Chateau Lamothe to anybody visiting the Bordeaux region.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay! Alice’s Chateau was the perfect place to stay with family. The house and the surrounding gardens are beautifully presented with fully stocked amenities. I highly recommend Chateau du Grava!

Our stay at the chateau was more amazing than anticipated. Cedric was kind and helpful, answering our questions and helping us find a chef for our event. The chateau itself is even more beautiful in person, pictures just cannot do it justice. It was easy to get to, and equally as easy to get to the surrounding towns to do some sight seeing and grocery shopping. Check in and check out were simple and straight forward. The chateau is comfortable and modern while maintaining the authenticity from its past. Truly remarkable. We will be returning someday!

We cannot recommend Alexia’s place enough. Such a beautiful spot, surrounded by nature. The space is well thought out, you will not find it lacking anything. Alexia has great recommendations for places to dine in Tours. Recommend doing the wine tour with her as well. She is very knowledgeable and makes it easy for amateurs to understand. Alexia also did not hesitate to help us book a taxi at the end of our stay. Don’t hesitate to book!

First and foremost Lucie and her parents Annick and Pierre are greats hosts and super lovely. They were helpful and so welcoming. Perfect communication and always there when we need them. The chateau was a dream- peaceful and beautiful not to mention super clean! Our stay there was amazing and it’s perfect for family’s. Won’t hesitate to return! We spent 4 days as a family in this cottage and this stay delighted everyone to gather in a beautiful place filled with history a great congratulations to these owners for the perfect restoration of this heritage and a big thank you to his very friendly staff welcome guide to the castle restaurant la voliere and gardeners for rent without hesitation

When we arrived all I kept saying was “ I want to move in here!” So totally cool with high ceilings and two large bedrooms. Had windows open and breeze and sun flowed in. Would definitely come again.

Absolutely beautiful place! The house and pool are gorgeous and so well-equipped. It's in a quiet location but there is a lovely small town 10 mins away. We would stay again!

The estate and its garden are beautiful, the pool is very nice. We spent our days and evenings outside, the environment being so relaxing and beautiful. The bedrooms are large and the bathrooms too, with the charm of the old. Swing, ping pong table, barbecue, the house is well equipped for leisure. We had a great time and will definitely be back! Almodis was always responsive and available. I recommend it!

Great family stay in this great area! We all enjoyed the tranquility of the place and the very atypical side of the castle. It retains a beautiful part of history through its decor and facilities. The annex cottage is perfectly renovated and offers many places for large groups. Christophe is very welcoming, available, responsive! The surroundings allow for small quiet walks, and offer a beautiful view of the Puy de Dôme.

We have a great stay! It's an experience to stay in an estate of a castle! There is a lot to see in the area. Very good and we would like to come back! Thanks for everything Szymon!

A very nice weekend in this peaceful and comfortable room, which allowed us to escape for a weekend. Pierre is very considerate and welcoming, we both enjoyed our stay at the castle!
