Waterfront vacation rentals in Loch Lomond

Centrally located, walking distance from the pier with private parking. Hard to find a better spot in Oban. Very clean, very well-equipped, large enough and comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen is great and there is a bit of a view on the harbour. Lorraine is an attentive host and very responsive. A very comfortable and uncomplicated stay. Would highly recommend.

This apartment was perfect for my son and I to stay for 5 nights while he played a golf competition in West Kilbride. Very close to Largs and Eleanor left some nice restaurant recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. I would highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

A very nice apartment with an attentive & friendly host. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the hydro or 20 mins walk to the city centre. We will stay again next time.

We had a lovely stay in Scott’s very attractive, comfortable flat. It’s got a really nice outdoor patio area and the walk along the harbour is fun to do. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and the parking is very straightforward. Scott himself was very friendly and helpful. All in all quite a find!

Apartment was great, views of the firth and it's bridges stunning. Short walk to the great pubs and restaurants.

Claudio's flat was the perfect location for a stay in Largs. Very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Ideally situated on the seafront next to the Ferry terminal. The views from the bay window were stunning and the sunsets were spectacular. It was most enjoyable watching the ferry going back and forth to Cumbrae and watching everything through the telescope made it more enjoyable. It had the added bonus of being able to sit outside on the roof of the restaurant below! The welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs and pancakes was greatly appreciated, although teabags would have been useful. Fortunately there's a Co-op supermarket close by. The extra, very cosy blankets I found in the cupboard were great on the chilly nights. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware so eating in was easy. TV reception wasn't always good as there isn't cable or satellite, but still got a good range on Freeview.

Robert's place is in the perfect location for exploring Oban and the surrounding areas! It's a lovely apartment, with excellent views, and plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very easy to get to from the train, and Robert was a delightful host. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely place, well equipped Kitchen. Lovely and peaceful. Very comforrable and all the things you may need. Good phone reception, wifi connection and TV. Toy cupboard for our girls. Lovely bathrooms and bedrooms and beautiful views over the loch from lounge window. Lovely garden. Very helpful and welcoming host.

We enjoyed a lovely stay while attending a wedding nearby. The house was perfect, so welcoming, homely and very clean. Kim was a responsive host from the off, advising on taxi numbers and great local recommendations for eating out and buying those last minute bits and bobs that you’ve likely forgot! This property was such a find, and we enjoyed watching the changing weather over the loch. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for off-the-beaten-track luxury with incredible wildlife, views of beautiful Loch Etive and the surrounding mountains which are second to none - then this is the place for you! Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay here and we were sad to leave. We highly recommend this Air BnB and we would love to visit again. Note: we were thankful to find teabags and coffee - but bring your own milk. ;)

We booked relatively last minute to stay with Michelle, yet we were catered for above and beyond. The wonderful little touches of cheese and biscuits, milk and juice, not to mention the lovely easter treats. We felt very much at home and extremely comfortable in the house, it is so homely. The location is superb as you can walk everywhere, we didnt use the car once from arriving to leaving. We walked to boat trips and restaurants, as well as to the ferry to Kerrera. Stayed for 3 nights at this remarkable property. If you are contemplating holidaying here I urge you do it, just book it now! husband, dog & I revelled in this haven of a house and it felt mansion sized, you can lose yourself among the generously proportioned rooms. The heart of the house being the huge traditional kitchen with welcoming raeburn stove which flows seamlessly into one of the most comfortable living rooms we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. We loved the tasteful decoration throughout & the carefully curated quirky modern & antique mix of furnishings. Outside the hot tub is of a very high, quality standard & and those powerful wee jets were an absolute tonic after a day’s hillwalking! Did I mention the owner’s attention to detail? And at last, Someone who understands the importance of silky soft & crisp bedding!! Peaceful setting with the joy of hooting owls & the odd stag grazing in the field in the evenings. We absolutely loved staying at Julie and Ians place. The scones and prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch and a fab way to start of our weekend! The location was just stunning and we enjoyed having a wee dip in the river at the end of the garden! Would highly recommend this place as it was perfect for making a nice meal and enjoying each others company. Thanks so much for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay!! Lynn is an amazing host: very responsive, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The home is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic view of the loch. There were seven of us (adults) and we were all very comfortable. The garden (yard) is large with soft, mossy grass, which our dogs loved! Helensburgh is not too far and offers nice places to eat (La Barca's) and fun stores for shopping (Tweedies). Highly recommend! 5 stars🌟

This is a wonderful place to stay, had everything we needed, Fran and John where very welcoming and had even supplied a small milk so we could make a cuppa. The place was clean and spacious, beds very comfy, views were spectacular. Perfect place to explore the surrounding area, which has a lot to offer. will definelty be going back and would recommend 100 times over.

We spent a long weekend here and had a great time ☺️ The flat is very close by to local transport and grocery shops, and has a private parking space. The flat is spacious, clean, and easily accessible via stairs or lift with a large lounge / kitchen which was perfect. The host was very friendly and communicated quickly with us. They very kindly allowed us to stay an extra hour over checkout time due to clocks moving forward! Would highly recommend staying

What a perfect find!! We were looking for a quiet spot to get away from it all for a couple of nights. The Old Post Office could not have fit the bill any better. From the start, Vince was exceptionally proactive with clear communication and instructions. On arrival, everything was exactly as expected.. Spotlessly clean and pristine throughout. Extremely well appointed with lots of lovely touches by Vince and Nicole. Plenty of snacks, biscuits and porridge pots to keep us going for our stay!! We were blessed with amazing weather - the beach was literally 10m from the front door with incredible views across the water to the Holy Loch, Dunoon and Gourock. Sunsets in Cove are beautiful and we were able to enjoy them fully, sat on the perfect little bench at the front of the apartment. Absolutely no complaints and we would thoroughly recommend others to try it out. PS: There’s a little shop only 30m up the road that does amazing ice cream!! Enjoy!!😊

We live in the USA now, but while visiting Argyll (where I was born) we stayed for 2 nights at John’s place in Inveraray. Beautiful views; a well furnished, neat and tidy, modern-looking apartment; easy check-in/check-out; and a responsive, friendly host……what more could anyone ask for?! We highly recommend John’s place and would have absolutely no hesitation in booking it again.

The Editor’s Choice is a lovely apartment: quiet, spotless and close to restaurants and the port. We appreciated the very well-equipped kitchen, the plants and the tasteful decor. It is up three flights of stairs, so make sure you’re travelling light! The reward for getting up there is the fine views to the south, across the port and up to pulpit hill.

This apartment was the best we have stayed in while visiting Bute. The dining room and large kitchen were brilliant (not something you get in most apartments on the island). It was very cosy, trendy and spacious. We will be back.

The Lookout has the most wonderful views from the comfy and cosy living room. Perfect location for a visit to Millport- a short walk to the beach and the shops. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable and the sofa bed turns the living room into a second bedroom if needed. Lots of stairs up to this attic flat which might not suit those with limited mobility but it’s worth it for the spectacular views! Ailsa was a perfect host, easy to communicate with, and very helpful. Would definitely recommend her lovely apartment.
