Lake house vacation rentals in Loch Lomond

Absolutely beautiful stay in Dalavich. The views from the dining room and hot tub were next level. George was extremely helpful with all recommendations and there is a helpful manual in the property on things to do around. Having a car is vital and make sure to do a shop before getting to the property but the village shop allowed us to pick up some bits we ran out of which was a bonus. Could not recommend more and will definitely be back!

The property was exactly as described and surpassed our expectations. It was easy to find, the directions are spot on and Rose was very easy to communicate with. Early access was granted which was amazing. Every amenity listed was available and there was a lovely welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us. We would love to book again, we loved the place. Thank you!

Great place to spend a weekend, local (directly opposite Clydebank Shopping Centre) with two train stations nearby. Glasgow just 29 mins away and Balloch, Loch Lomond 25 mins … Lots of places to eat nearby. A perfect location. Great instructions from the host, easy access, wi-fi and sleeps up to ten people!!!! I‘lol definitely book again.

We had a fabulous time spent at Mel’s place. Super clean and felt very homely. Absolutely stunning views over the Loch. We would come back here at the drop of a hat.

We had a really lovely family holiday here. The house is light, spacious and well-equipped with everything guests might need. The location is just stunning, beautiful scenery and we loved being able to spend time at the lake every day. The weather wasn’t great when we visited but had it been a bit warmer the kids would’ve played in the lake quite happily and safely. It’s a beautiful area with loads to do. Val was a very friendly and helpful host.

Place was located in a fantastic spot and was beautiful. Super clean and easy to check in. Only negative is that the air bnb directions took us to the wrong spot, so definitely google maps the actual location instead of taking the air bnb link

Mairi and Jason, Thank you so much for having myself and my friends over. Easily one of the best and most beautiful properties to rent out if you’re looking for a peaceful time away. The hosts really thought of every detail making sure guests felt at home; comfort, lovely decor and maximising space with the main bedroom at the top and its great view of the sea. Very helpful hosts which made every one of us feel at home from the start. I can only imagine that it’s even better in the summer! 10/10! Evandro

Lovely big house with amazing views, ideal for family gathering. Jordan was an excellent host - great communication and went the extra mile to ensure we were all comfortable Well equipped house with secure garden. Lovely big hot tub - would’ve preferred if there was a door from the games room (which was a great space too with a multi-games table) to the hot tub as it was freezing outside but it didn’t stop us using it! Would definitely stay here again , would love to be able to use garden area & the enclosed back garden must be a lovely sun-trap on a sunny day.

We had a lovely stay at Silvia’s place. The house is beautiful and surrounded by stunning forest - there’s even a wee river where we went for a dip. The location is very private and scenic.

I can't recommend the cottage enough as a place to stay. It was just what I was looking for, relaxing with beautiful surroundings. I took my dog and paddle board as it was right on the water, and there were lots of gorgeous walks nearby with new areas to explore. I'll definitely be back, sooner rather than later I hope!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is so peaceful and the surrounding area breathtaking. The house itself is superb and well equipped to service a large number with several bedrooms and several bathroom with a well equipped kitchen. Our only issue was trying to locate the house on arrival but it’s worth the journey

Joanne's cottage was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, the little touches made it homely; board games, lots of leaflets to tell us what was around, plenty of utensils in the kitchen and great wifi (two teenage sons!!). The conservatory room gave ample space to dine with stunning views of the Loch. It also leads out to a large garden with lots of cute bunnies who were grazing and hopping around. The location was absolutely stunning; we bravely took a dip in Loch Linnhe and marvelled at the ever changing dramatic landscape. Both Joanne and Adrian were fabulous hosts, local and on hand when we needed them. We will definitely return to Scotland and wouldn't hesitate to return to No 1 Ardrhu cottage. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous place. Peaceful, beautiful, stunning location. Amazing views of the loch and hills from the lounge. So cosy with the wood burner on. Lots to do in the surrounding area - we walked in the ancient Caledonian black wood of Rannoch, hiked across Rannoch Moor “the last Scottish wildernesses”, and cycled round the loch. The tea room at Rannoch Train Station is wonderful with great views and delicious food and drink – we loved the hot toddy. Host was very responsive and helpful with questions we had. Highly recommend this AirBnB. Hope to visit again.

We really enjoyed our relaxing getaway - very peaceful with beautiful surroundings! The guest house was well furnished and had a well equipped kitchen. The recommendations were excellent (both local and into Oban).

We really enjoyed our stay. The surroundings are peaceful, with enough space for 2 big cars to park. It’s a very comfortable house. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Would love to stay here again if I do come back!

John managed to accommodate us last minute as the place we were staying had to cancel due to a burst pipe. We were a bit deflated and exhausted after a day of hiking He was very responsive and very helpful. Place was lovely . Hot tub was a great touch after hiking and we brought our own food too cook so we were very happy to have a full equipped kitchen too. Unfortunately there was no shower gel in showers and after a day of hiking we really needed a good shower . We just used the hand wash . I understand this was maybe not included like the last place so we didn’t bother packing any . Would definitely highly recommend this accommodation and definitely stay again. Thank you so much for saving our day .

Great holiday. The lodge is fabulous - clean and very well presented.

A beautifully renovated cottage. We loved the kitchen/lounge room, especially the window seat overlooking the loch. Sensible stone flooring (but not cold) for the dog. Bunk beds were comfortable and spacious for my 25 yr old daughter and her best friend. Large well fenced garden great for dog. We 4 adults also enjoyed the children's swing ! Shower was amazing, fantastic water pressure. In all a very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. A beautiful place for a holiday.

What dreams are made of!! We truly felt so lucky to stay at Ross and Rachel's property. It was simply the most perfect week weather wise which meant we made the most of going out on the Canoe which was such an added bonus. The house itself we fell in love with because of the accessibility to all floors and of course the stunning view from the living room. We could have stayed in the whole week and still been happy because of that view. The 20/30 minute drive out of Foss towards Pitlochry was one of our favourite drives. We saw Doe Deer every time. The added bonus was the Barn Owl, baby Fawn, Red Squirrel and the Stag who shot across the road in front of us. Absolutely breathtaking scenery, completely immersed in Nature. The property had everything we could ever need or want from it and it ticked all of our boxes. We hope one day we can return. Thank you.

We just spent the weekend here with 2 friends and our 2 dogs. Firstly the house is exactly as described, it completely met our expectations. The location and surroundings exceeded our expectations. It is simply stunning. It’s the most perfect place to relax and enjoy the quiet. We were lucky enough to have clear sky's at night and we got the most spectacular display of shooting stars while sitting in the giant hot tub! I have never experienced anything quite like it. The garden is huge and well kept, the dogs loved the space while it being secure for them. I highly recommend staying here.

In the Knowe is a spacious house and located very conveniently about a 10 minute walk from the city centre and the train station that'll take you to Glasgow in 25 minutes. Parking on your own driveway so that's perfect. Whenever we contacted James (the host) he responded quickly and did what he could to make sure to fix any problems. The house is very quiet, with the windows closed you can barely hear the outside (which is perfect when it's storming and raining) and the house is nice & warm, which makes it a comfortable & cozy stay in winter time. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay near Loch Lomond & Glasgow.

Well we had a marvellous stay and the dogs did too. All 3 had the holiday of a lifetime. The location was beautiful and the grounds were just the best part. Amazing water access. Enclosed garden and huge outdoor area. Sauna was fantastic best I've used in any accommodation. Hot tub was a nice addition takes a while to heat with the fire but all added to the charm. Would love to go back again with some boats and use the firepit. But it was like having your own dog park! Very private and beautiful views.
