Our B&B “Al Pozzo” is part of an old farmhouse restored and refurbished. It is situated right on the path leading to the “Basilica di S. Pietro Al Monte” (http:/www.amicidisanpietro.it), a monument considered to be a jewel of Romanesque art (X-XI century). And further on along the path are our wonderful montains with its Monte Cornizzolo, a peak famous for paragliding (www.cornizzolo.com). Is is a very short distance from the cliffs, where climbing enthusiasts will enjoy various levels of difficulties in this adventurous sport. There are easy links to che cities of Milan, Como, Bergamo, to the picturesque towns of Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio and to Switzerland. And just 4 Km from “Al Pozzo” you can visit the beautiful historical city of Lecco, on Lake Como, with its amazing views famously described in the novel “The Betrothed” by A. Manzoni. A bit about us: we are a family made up of a young couple, Barbara and Beppe, and two children, Ale and Franci, lovers of mountains and nature. We grow our own organic vegetables, we have two dogs and even a stable with twenty odd goats which help us produce a high-quality homemade cheese! You will be able to taste it at breakfast or it you choose to dine comfortably at our typical restaurant part of the farmhouse structure- We are looking forward to your visit!

Breakfast is included and we prepare it from 7.30 to 9.30 either in the garden or in the kitchen. The use of the kitchen is allowed but it must be left clean and tidy. Our B&B is located on the most romantic of the Italian lakes: “lago d’Orta”, in the county of Alzo in the municipality of Pella (on the western side). The house is only 5 minutes from the lake shore of Pella (the beach, sailing club etc), 15 minutes from Omegna, Borgomanero, Orta Saint Giulio and the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso, at 30 minutes from the Mottarone and Valsesia.

Lovingly furnished and very clean room with a super delicious breakfast and an incredibly beautiful view. Easy check-in and check-out. Loredana is very flexible, extremely attentive and super friendly. She even provided us with a crib for babies/toddlers. Thank you! We really enjoyed the stay in Italy and would be happy to come back.

Room in a very nice historic building in a quiet environment and completely surrounded by greenery. We really appreciated the aesthetic care of the spaces and the attention to detail (hard to find). Taino is a good starting point for visiting the various towns on Lake Maggiore while staying away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy villages at the same time. The hosts were very kind and helpful, if there is an opportunity we will be very happy to come back!

The stay went very smoothly. Unfortunately, we were late, which is why we were not received in person. But that was all no problem, because we received all the necessary information. The room was lovely and had a balcony with beautiful views. Furthermore, everything was tidy and clean! In the morning we came into the dining room and were warmly greeted. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the breakfast was also good. We would stay there again :-)

Laura and her husband were exceptional hosts, and their home is an absolute dream. I highly recommend staying with them. They are warm, inviting, beautiful people who make you feel right at home! It was the perfect respite from time in the city: reconnecting with nature, taking things slowly, and enjoying all that the lake has to offer. One of the best places I've ever stayed!
