Vacation rentals with beach access in Locarno

Was great to stay at Savina’s place. She was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. We had hired a car and Savina arranged parking across the road for us in the shared underground car park which was helpful, as the property is located about 25 min walk out of the main town. The property is most suited to a family with kids as the second bedroom has two smaller single beds. It’s exactly as described and we loved staying there.

Elena is a very kind and responsive host. She recommended what to do on New Year's Eve. Clean, spacious and well organized apartment. Above all, come back in the summer.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at this Airbnb in Lezzeno. The location was ideal—situated right on Lake Como, offering breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Waking up to the serene beauty each morning was a highlight of our trip. The apartment was spotless, clearly recently remodeled with high-quality materials, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, and the living space was cozy, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The balcony was perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening wine while soaking in the incredible views. Our host, Emi, was incredibly helpful, providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. She also surprised us with an amazing gift basket, which made us feel even more welcome! The apartment is conveniently located close to the bus stop and and ferry, making it easy to explore other parts of Lake Como. We can’t wait to stay again!

Very nice place, with everything you need, clean and well furnished. Cristina is an exceptional host, always available, present and ready to recommend places to visit, restaurants, shops... The fresh brioche with pistachio that he made us find in the morning for breakfast.

We had such a wonderful stay! Isa welcomed us right from the start and even though she couldn't speak English, we could feel her warmth and friendliness. Upon knowing it was our wedding anniversary, she also painted us a card to welcome us. The apartment overlooks Lake Como and it was surreal to wake up to such a view every day. Beach chairs and snorkels were also provided if you'd like to swim in the lake, accessible just beneath the house. Unfortunately, it was cold when we were there but I'm sure it would be a lovely experience for those going in good weather. One thing to note, however, is that the accommodation is about 15-20min walk from the main town/dock although there is a restaurant right opposite. This might be a consideration for those who have accessbility concerns. Personally, we didn't mind the walk too much. Overall, we highly recommend this accommodation. The cosiness of the hosts and the interior decor of the space truly felt like a home away from home.

We had a lovely stay in Onno. The Apartment was great, very clean and comfortable. And you have a great view over the lake. Nothing to complain about. The private beach and private parking spot are nice. The communication with the owner was easy and we got helpful tipps. We definitely recommend the apartment. Thank you!

Eros and Daniels place exceded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains—pictures simply don’t do it justice! The property itself is beautifully designed, modern but cozy! Eros and Daniel were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. They provided great recommendations for local restaurants, activities, and hidden gems around the lake that truly made our trip unforgettable. Our accommodations were spotless, well-appointed, and had all the amenities you’d need. It was truly a dream come true. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway in Lake Como, this is the place! We LOVE Bellagio Love. This was an amazing place. The apartment is very close and walkable to the ferry at San Giovanni , Villa Melzi and Gardens as well as to the center of Bellagio. There are plenty of hills and roads are tight but walkable. People who have trouble walking can take a handy, small tour train that stops near the apartment and will take you to sites in the town. The apartment is comfortable for four adults and well appointed. Clean!!! The pool was lovely. The Il Lombardia bike race came right by the house on Sunday, so Saturday evening was a bit noisy with activity but still exciting to be on the route.. The hosts were VERY helpful. Watch the videos they send to assist as they are necessary to make finding the apartment easier. This place made a life long dream of visiting Lago di Como even better! I hope we can return someday!

We had a great stay at Luigi's house. The accommodation it was exactly as described, very very clean and perfect located for visite all the region, the lake Como and Milano city. Luigi was a great host, friendly and very fast responsive. We kindly recommend the house. For sure we will book the accommodation without hesitate next time.

Kathi Exceptional Host, super helpful and kind, beautiful home and equally view

We had a wonderful stay. Michele and his family were so friendly and helpful. We took our dog, and Michele sister as a vet was able to provide the services needed for our return trip. Michele also offered a taxi service to help us get our car from the garage and my mum to the train station. We can’t thank him enough for making our stay go well. We were able to walk down to the lake edge, the local restaurant the Blue Shell was amazing and we loved going to the little local shop also in walking distance for supplies.

Great spot near the lake!

Luisella and her husband are exceptional hosts. They met us upon arrival where our driver from Milan dropped us off. They helped us with our luggage for the short walk. Luisella went over everything to do in the area, the perfect host! This is such a cute space with a gorgeous view of lake Como. The town Varenna is a very short and lovely walk from the home. We did a day trip to Bellagio, took the ferry from Varenna. Easy! Another day we did a private boat tour on an old Woody boat. Luisella recommended the company—what an exceptional experience!!! Luisella is quick to respond, is a local travel agent, and exceptional host. We LOVED our stay and felt like we were taken back in time staying in this space and village. Highly recommend!

Top location really a nice view over the lake. Apartment was fine with a good bed! Too bad the kitchen wasn't really equipped with basic things like pepper or olive oil.

What a superb spacious apartment, fitted to a very good standard , the welcome drinks and bread were most appreciated The view from the terrace was amazing and the location was perfect, 5 to 10 minute walk to the supermarket,restaurant,shops and the ferry crossings. Verbania itself was lovely, quieter than Stessa but still had a good vibe. Isola Bella and Superiore were our favourite islands with restaurants bars and shops, whereas on Isola Madri you had to pay for the entrance to the palace and gardens and there was nothing else to do if you didn’t. The Saturday market which you could see from the apartment, was worth going to. Fiorella was an outstanding host and looked after all our needs. Would love to visit again.

Everything was excellent, with a special thanks to responsible. The only drawback was the elevator, which made bringing the Bags a bit challenging."

We absolutely loved our 6 days in Bellano & Gian's apartment. The apartment is modern & spacious with a lovely view of the lake. Bellano is far enough up the lake to be off the main tourist track, so lovely & quiet & not packed with tourists, but it is still on the ferry & train lines, you can easily get to see all that Lake Como has to offer. Gianpaolo is wonderful - he met us at the train station when we arrived & helped us with our bags and did the same when we left, even giving us some lovely pastries to have on the train! We cannot recommend Gian's place & Bellano more highly & will certainly be telling all our friends about it when we get home!

Absolutely recommended, Ivana was punctual and provided us with all the necessary information. The apartment is large, close to the center (10 minutes) but at the same time in a calm area of Arona.

Marianna has a beautiful place and is a wonderful host. The views from the balcony are breathtaking! Marianna was helpful in how to find her address, she came to meet us at the bus stop and told us where to get off. Through out our stay she struck the balance of being available to help but without being intrusive. Lezzeno is a lovely base from which to explore the towns up and down the lake, it’s easy to travel by bus or boat to various villages like Bellagio, Menaggio and Varenna. These places can be packed with tourists so it’s nice to come home to Lezzeno at the end of a day, which is much quieter and less ‘touristy’, a much more authentic feeling town where locals live. Lezzeno also has some fantastic places to eat. Osteria Il Governo 1801 is especially good and Crotto dei Pescatori is also great. I would absolutely recommend this place to stay from which to see all that Lake Como has to offer!

We felt very comfortable. The view view on the lake is priceless. Yes, there is a street under the apartment, but this did not bother us. In the kitchen, everything you need is very clean and not worn. Also otherwise it was very clean and the bed comfortable. Check-in was super easy, as Alessandro sent me detailed pictures and was therefore very easy to find. He was also quick to respond to questions. Thanks for that 😊 If we are in the area we will be happy to come back.

There is so much to boast about Andreas place and it still Would not do it justice. Andreas place was just as described and as the pictures show. The place is pristine and I cannot put into words the view that greets you, just insanely beautiful. Andrea provides clear instructions, recommendations on what to see and do, which I would suggest you follow as so many beautiful places within the recommendations and definitely worth the visit. Andrea is an attentive host answering all your questions and ensuring your stay is positive. Andrea’s place will not disappoint you, its so peaceful and we are incredibly sad to be leaving today. When arranging Andrea’s recommendation was to hire a car which was great advice and allowed us to explore lake Como to its fullest. We cannot wait to come back and haven't even left Italy yet. Thank you Andrea for a wonderful stay and allowing us into your beautiful home. Will definitely be back Arrivederci 🥰

We had a great time at Mario's place. The apartment was great for our family (2 adults 2 children and 1 baby) Check-in with the lockbox (as we were arriving very late) was very convenient. We were able to meet Mario the next morning. He explained how the shuttles work on the lake. He gave us good places to eat/shop and/or order for delivery in the evening. Mario is a very available and accommodating host. The apartment is true to the listing and very clean. We highly recommend Mario and his apartment!
