The accommodation, location and facilities were perfect for a special birthday weekend for a party of 13... The house easily accommodated everyone, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was a superb focal point for a weekend of celebration and having access to multiple fridges was ideal. Outside, the natural pool was fabulous, as was the sauna, patio area and garden.. There are lovely walks from the house and a great local pub within reach. Very helpful neighbours on hand, if needed. Tim was an excellent host and this is a perfect setting for a special occasion.

We had a lovely time weathering storm Darragh here. The fire kept us nice and warm through the power cut and the cottage was very comfortable and cozy. Thanks for having us!

We recently enjoyed a fantastic 4 nights family reunion, and we couldn’t be happier. Doreen was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The property is very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. We were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen and pantry fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, and glasses. One of the highlights was the amazing fire pit, beautifully surrounded by trees and lights, creating a magical ambiance at night. Doreen always refilled wood for cozy fires each evening. We also loved the swimming pool with its clean water and perfect temperature, and the hot tub provided a relaxing retreat after a day of fun. Overall, our experience was great, We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you again, Doreen and Peter, for being such great hosts and making our stay so memorable!

The house is lovely with peaceful surroundings. Set in a beautiful location. Great host and amazing place to stay! Would definitely stay with again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was very peaceful and the surroundings beautiful. The lodge was nice, light and spacious. Only thing to be mindful of is that you do need to take your own bath towels and kitchen towels.

I’m almost disappointed I can only give this accommodation 5*, it deserves much more! A lovely converted barn, it was clean, spacious and ideal for what we needed. Charlotte was a great host, always available for communication. We’re already excited to come back again. Thanks so much for providing the backdrop to a lovely weekend.

Great accommodation in pretty location. Roomy, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and very clean (ideal for us with food allergies). Plenty of sleeping space with additional airbeds which meant my daughter could sleep upstairs too. Very thoughtful decorations for Christmas and ideal space for a dog (we could confine the dog to the conservatory when we needed to). Central location, not being too far from Chester and surrounding attractions. David was very helpful throughout and gave a list of local attractions as well as supermarkets etc which saved me some time researching. Will look to book again if visiting in future as felt very comfortable here.

The farmhouse is in a great location. The beach is just down the road through a caravan site where they also have arcades, chip shop and a little shop. Communication was very good with Liz and we appreciated the milk and Welsh cakes on arrival. The bedrooms are huge and the kitchen is well equipped. The views from the farmhouse are amazing and is a great base to explore from. Barmouth is 10 minutes drive away and we'll worth the visit.

Lovely house in a fabulous peaceful location. Jacob supplied the code on the day of arrival and we had no problems accessing the property. Everywhere was spotless and the kitchen had everything you could ask for. We did not eat in the main dining room as the kitchen table was big enough for us and had lovely views of the garden Chester Zoo and City Centre both only 10 minutes away. We only spent 2 nights there but would certainly recommend and visit again.

We had a great time staying at Ysgubor Y Cook. It was perfect for our family get to together. The house is very spacious, warm and comfortable. The location was ideal. It’s very peaceful and there are country walks right on the doorstep. The EV charger was also very useful for us.

Really great place to stay and Jill is very welcoming and responsive with anything you need, house is constantly warm even in the morning ! Even during storm weather the house felt very warm, would highly recommend !! Keep up the good work

My husband and I had a fantastic week at Anna's, the house was clean and cosy, exactly what we needed after a day of walking the coastline and reliving some childhood memories in the arcade and at the leisure park! A beautiful view from the balcony out to the sea, easy check in/out and off road parking on the drive of the property. We visited Machynlleth for the outdoor market, Dolgoch Falls, Aberdyfi, Aberystwyth, the point, Tallylyn railway, and the Magic Lantern cinema! We can't wait to come back next year!

Our stay was excellent, and the house was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 young kids). We had travelled to Chester for our son’s birthday and planned to visit the zoo. Unfortunately the awful weather meant the zoo was closed, but Amanda made a great recommendation to visit the aquarium, which he loved. The best bit was how sweet Amanda was in wishing our son a happy birthday. She’s a truly lovely host. We’d definitely stay again.

We were family of three adults stayed for three nights at Awen’s place. It was a lovely two bed room house well suited for our needs. The house located in a quiet street , supermarkets , pub, high street only 5 mins by drive. We had a lovely time exploring North Wales from Awen’s place and we felt like being at our own place. Ruthin a lovely town. I will definitely stay at Awen’s place again.

Ty Iris was a lovely little cottage in which to stay, we loved some of the unique features, eg the stone back wall of the living room and its history. Me, my husband and son stayed and it was ideal for us because we had come to walk/ climb in Snowdonia; so we were right on the doorstep! The cottage was perfect for the three of us, it may have been a bit cosy for four (my son is 6' 2" adult) but still perfectly manageable. We had everything we needed, a decent kitchen in which to cook, the bonus of having a proper oven, fridge and freezer; we were only there for 3 nights but it would've been easy to cater for a week. The bathroom had the bonus of a separate shower and bath which was great if you came back cold and stiff from a day on the hill. There is also a decent sized porch to hang coats/ leave outdoor kit in, and a nice garden area at the front to hang out in and have a BBQ if the weather allows. Very good value for the price, we would return here.

We booked well in advance without knowing storm Darragh was coming, which means we got to spend a lot of time indoors, and Porfa Wyrdd was the perfect place for that. It's spacious and comfortable, and has great views from the kitchen and dining room regardless of the weather. The piano was lovely, and a great way to pass the time during the storm. It was easy to keep our devices charged (especially important when there's a chance of blackouts) because no matter where you are there's an outlet nearby. On the final morning the storm had died down and I was able to sit in the back garden for breakfast and look at the birds feeding, with the mountains as a backdrop. Anne offered to let us check-in later in the day due to the weather but we were eager to explore the castle and town as soon as the wind died down a bit, and the checking out process was easy and well explained. I love Harlech and would love to come back - and when I do, I know where I want to stay!

Absolutely gorgeous house. We had a fantastic stay with a private chef to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday and we could not have asked for a more luxurious place to stay. Bedrooms were large and tastefully decorated and the reception rooms were pure luxury. Really handy for access to central Chester. We loved the kitchen area by the fire for games and drinks. The cinema room is amazing too. The garage was big enough for one large car and the public car parks are within a 2 minute walk. Overall we had a fantastic stay. Chris allowed us to check in earlier on our arrival date which was really helpful. Would definitely recommend getting a private chef- total treat.

Amazing stay! Come to barmouth quite often and would definitely re book to stay here again, home was gorgeous and had everything we needed! And the hot tub was a lovely way to end the day! 100% recommend!!

We were in Shrewsbury for business and Danny's house was conveniently located for a supermarket and restaurants. The house is very homely and a great place to stay. Danny was a very responsive host and we would definitely recommend his house. Just a couple of points to note, it is smaller than it looks in the photos and the loft bedroom is accessed via a steep ladder, so not suitable for everyone.

Russiahall was truly a gem! The beautiful house, amazing garden, and the wonderful Rachel made our stay unforgettable. The cozy atmosphere of the house, the well-maintained garden. Rachel is a wonderful and very kind host and the hospitality of her added a special touch to our experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming retreat ♥️
