Vacation rentals in Linton Colliery

Lovely place which suited our family of four perfectly. The house was great - clean and as shown in the pictures. It’s situated in a great location with easy access to the Longsands beach or a short picturesque walk to the villages of Tynemouth and Cullercoats. Also easy to get into Newcastle city centre by driving or taxi (approx. 20 mins). Gavin and Lisa were great hosts - very responsive and providing anything we needed during our stay.

We had a fabulous short break to celebrate my wife's birthday. We could not have hoped to have chosen a better place, Warkworth is a great little village with a good selection of places to eat all within walking distance in beautiful surroundings. Close by are several other great towns all with lots to do, see and places for lunch or dinner. Grace is a fantastic host, always responsive and warm with a genuine desire to be helpful and cares to ensure your stay is as good as you want it to be. Finally, the cottage is faultless, beautifully appointed with a cosy lounge and log burner, well equipped and modern kitchen, and great bathrooms with lovely linen and towels. The welcome pack is well chosen and thoughtful and it is great that other things are left that are so often not!, i.e oil, s&p, foil, kitchen roll, washing up liquid etc. Grace even left a bottle of bubbly on ice as a birthday treat. Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location, ideal for long walks on the beach

Me and my partner absolutely loved Nicola’s place! It was so peaceful and just what we needed. The hot tub was amazing and the Christmas tree was such a lovely surprise. The surrounding area is beautiful and a nice get away from a bustling atmosphere. Watching the moon with the telescope was very memorable. This is one of a kind, no complaints!

Words cannot describe how amazing Simone is and her gorgeous retreat. I took my Dad away for a little trip away as he is rather poorly and the original place I had booked was appalling! So bad I refused to stay. Thinking I'd have to take my Dad back home as finding somewhere suitable for his needs is slim picking, never mind on an August Friday night at 6pm, last weekend of the summer holidays. Nevertheless, after refusing to give up I found this gem, both in Simone and her retreat. Just what we needed . Simone went above and beyond from the second I placed the booking, she rang me straight away, said she would met us there, she had the retreat warming through for us, lights on and made us feel absolutely at home. So much so I had to give her a hug. The whole experience from start to finish was 10 star. The place is beautiful, the views are outstanding, area is perfect. My Dad is dying to go back already. And I can't wait to take him. See you soon x

Amazing lodge, so cosy and as decorated with Christmas things which made it feel even more cosy. Beautiful view over the lake. Hot tub was excellent and topped up daily! Diane was an amazing host, we booked very last minute and everything was in place for us to arrive and she was excellent with communication! We will definitely be booking again

Carolyn is the best Airbnb host I have ever had. She responded in record time to every message. She thought of everything her guests might need. Her cottage is very well-equipped and super-comfortable. Amble is a wonderful place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return

We absolutely loved our stay!! It was my partners birthday and it was a surprise! Kris decorated the lodge for our arrival and it looked amazing! The lodge felt like home and was so comfortable! The hot tub was fab and definitely the best part of our stay! We left feeling so relaxed! We will be back soon! Thank you Kris!!
