Amazing place! We stayed here for 1 week in October and all 3 of us, my husband, our 5-year-old daughter and me, enjoyed every moment of being there. The house is cozy and clean, and there is everything you need for cooking. On top of that, there are plenty of toys for kids and our daughter was super happy with it! The nature is stunning - the lake and the woods, and at night the sky full of stars. Stefan was very friendly and always replied to all my questions, providing useful tips and advice on food/shops/activities. All three of us agreed that we would definitely like to come here for holidays again! 10/10!

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

We had an incredible stay at Jonas and Jana's place! It’s one of the most welcoming and authentic Airbnbs I’ve ever experienced. Despite arriving late due to a snowstorm, Jonas went above and beyond - he lit a fire, turned on the lights, and greeted us with a warm, cozy house and a thoughtful gift of homemade jam. Jonas was so helpful, assisting us in renting a canoe for the lake and sharing great recommendations for local walks and fishing spots. He and Jana were incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. The house itself was perfect - authentic, cozy, and beautifully equipped with a new kitchen. The sauna was a wonderful bonus, especially on a chilly November weekend. Overall, we had a great time at Jonas and Jana’s charming home and would highly recommend it!

There were nine of us and there was plenty of room and sleeping options. There was everything needed to cook and there was a great barbecue. The house has become well warm, especially with the fireplace. Highly recommended for a holiday with several people. We had a fantastic time and thank you for the accommodation.

This is the 2nd time at Haris's cottage, last year we were here too. The cottage has become even more beautiful, due to all the adjustments. 😃 Our dog was also able to run around in the fenced garden. And Haris.. who is so incredibly helpful and always cheerful! All in all a perfect place for a stay in nature with lots of peace and quiet 💪

We will be back! Beautiful house next to a quiet lake. Spacious, well-thought out and a nice host. Highly recommended!

We got a warm welcome in the house. Mark, Ellen and their parents were amazing and so so kind. We got a lot of good tips and they helped out with everything. The wood around the house is miraculous. We enjoyed the garden and the huge wooden terrace. The bathing place nearby is ideal with smaller kids to play and for the adults to swim. We did trips to Vimmerby and Astrid Lidgrens World and to Bästervik to the cost. I cannot think of anything we would have missed. Ellen, Mark and all of your family: Thank you so much!

Beautiful neighborhood. Very kind host. She provided delicious homemade baked goods. A clean cottage with everything you need. Recommended

We felt very comfortable and had a nice time. The house is well equipped and we didn't miss anything except a baking sheet. 🙂 Very nice quiet location. And from the back terrace you can even catch a small view of the lake. The host Annika is very nice and we always had good contact via chat. It's worth it! Price performance definitely fits. 👍
