The cottage is located within walking distance to Nortons Pond, Lincolnville General Store (opening this summer!), the post office and the Lincolnville Library.

Dan's cottage provided everything that the three of us needed for our weekend stay. We enjoyed a walk on the nearby beach, and were able to explore the city of Belfast, which is charming and artsy. If we'd had more time we would have checked out more restaurants, galleries, and shops. There was a great food co-op in town where we picked up meals and snacks for cozy dinners and board games at the cottage. The beds were comfy, the place was clean, and it was about a one hour drive to Acadia National Park where we spent most of our time while we were in Maine.

Being at Carole's place was a total pleasure. If I could, I'd spend a lot of time living on a boat, and this was about as close as possible to that experience, only much more comfortable. I loved being able to see all that was going on in the bay - a lobster boat with a happy dog aboard, a kayak - but mostly birds, including a few visits from a couple of Bald Eagles. For anyone who enjoys nature and privacy, this place is heaven.

We enjoyed the cottage. It was clean, comfortable and as described. We had some difficulty figuring out how to use heating and later with TV. Jeff responded quickly with clear guidance on both. Followed up with us throughout the visit to be sure we had everything we needed.

Annette and Jim were great hosts. We had a small problem that they can by and immediately fixed. The view from the house is 1000% better than what you see in the photos. We went all over the coast of Maine and the view from their porch was my favorite by far. It's a great location. Close to Acadia but with 1% of the congestion of Bar Harbor.

The cottage was cozy, clean and comfortable. Peaceful surroundings, can see the ocean and inlet with the lobster boats leaving and bringing in their catches, the location was perfect for day trips to other surrounding towns. We met Susan and her sweet dog, she was very nice and friendly, had suggestions of places to see , do and restaurants in the area. Overall it was a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend.

Our second time staying. Beautiful location, close access to the water. Thoughtful features inside. For wintertime stay the driveway was clear and we were able to keep very warm in the cabin, even on the coldest of days!! Tara is a responsive, kind and helpful host. Would definitely visit again!
