What an absolute paradise located in a private and peaceful setting! Safe even for solo female travelers. The lapa, braai area and fire pit were extremely well laid out. The pristine pool was always the perfect temperature with the added benefit of an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The pool is situated next to a game path. We got to see zebras, kudus, warthog, steenbuck, duikers, bushbuck, lizards, bush babies, wildebeest and so much more. The airconditioned rooms were a wonderful reprieve from the sweltering heat. Marloth has beautiful walking paths next to the river with magnificent views into the Kruger. There were also a lot of mountain bike enthusiasts. Marloth is ideally located close to the Crocodile Bridge Gate of the Kruger and the Kambaku Golf Club. Leon, his son Donovan and their housekeeper, Phindi, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. When my friends’ Jeep had a flat tyre, Donovan went above and beyond to assist them. I will be back.

We had the most incredible stay at Warthog Lodge this past weekend, celebrating my birthday with family visiting from the USA. From the moment we arrived, Lea ensured that everything was seamless and stress-free. A special thank you for the personal touch of the birthday message on the notice board, it was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture! The lodge itself is breathtakingly beautiful, offering the perfect combination of luxury and nature. Lea’s friendly assistance throughout our stay made it even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated her attentiveness and hospitality. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Warthog Lodge for an unforgettable getaway. Thank you, Lea, for making our stay so special!

It’s a beautiful, clean and private home. Poppy and Reuben were amazing, they were readily available for everything we needed.

We had a great weekend break at Dinaledi.. A real home away from home experience. Thank you to Teko and Peter for having us over and for the very warm welcome we received. My kids were very happy with the space that you have and might I say that you have exquisite taste.. We will definitely be going back in the warmer months - warmbaths is within walking distance and very safe to walk. Overall 10/10!

Wonderful place and host, would highly recommend!

Great stay, second time there. A few hiccups beyond Debi's control that were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The house is great and fully equipped. No WiFi (hey, you're in the bush) but decent mobile coverage for data. Stock up in Bela Bela before you get there as there aren't any shops close by and be prepared for occasional power outages: a cool box, ice and torches (although there are some in the house). Thanks Debi, we'll be back.

Call of the Wild is a must visit if you are planning a trip to the Hoedspruit area, Sue’s place is comfy, clean, well maintained and has all the amenities as listed on Airbnb, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the bush over New Years ☺️
