Amazing place to stay for those looking for a break north of J’Burg. Staff were great attending to every need and the flexibility to allow us to personalize our trip from game drives to quad safaris to just pool time was great. Be sure to do the outside dining experience which was spectacular. We will be back for sure.

We stayed for a few nights while visiting Kruger National Park for day trips. The property’s close proximity to the Crocodile Bridge Gate made it easy for us to enter the park. The home itself is well-equipped, providing everything we needed. We felt right at home during our stay, and our highlights included being surrounded by nature, feeding the animals in the garden, and enjoying the outdoor shower. Rita was an excellent host and was readily available if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again, and we highly recommend Rita's home.

We had the best time at Deon's place, the animals visiting the house were incredible. Beautiful sunsets from the deck and balcony. A wonderful experience in the African bush.

Great stay! The place is beautiful, the house is superb, all comfort.. We received an unexpected visit at the fall of the first night, a big male elephant that came a few steps away from the terrace, unforgettable memories!

Prior to this trip I had a preference for out of town accommodation, but after staying at Trout and Butterfly, I think I've changed my mind. The house is great, a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the main road and walking distance to Dullstroom dam and nature reserve - and of course the pub down the road. Thanks Jackie we'll be back

Wonderful place. Spacious and clean/neat. We had a great time. A small inconvenience is that the wood/charcoal braai (bbq) is below the deck so the men had to braai standing at the bottom while the ladies sat on the deck on top where the table and chairs where.

Although a bit out of town, it is definitely my first choice when travelling to Phalaborwa in future.

Honestly, one of the most beautiful places I've stayed. I felt welcome and the place is stylish, neat and comfortable. Shaun was so friendly and willing to help with anything. There was no hassle with what, where or when. It was lovely and peaceful.

Heather was so welcoming and friendly. The house and patio were beautiful, with a gorgeous view of the river. The deck with the pool, right on the river, was lovely. There were many different places to relax and hang out. The A/C in the bedrooms was a nice bonus. We also enjoyed the outside kitchen and the fire pit.

Our family enjoyed the place, weather made it difficult to do a lot of outdoor activities but all in all we had a great time.

Amazing house to stay in the greater Kruger area. Tim is a perfect host and respons very quickly when having questions.

This is a wonderful property, but actual highlight is the native surroundings and all the animals you'll find walking past your stoop. Absolutely magical. The kitchen was well appointed and given that we stayed during a heatwave, the 3 air conditioners were a total blessing. Our only con was that we found the house quite dark inside but overall excellent value for money. Would happily stay again.

Sometimes getting completely OFF THE GRID and spending time with family and friends with no distractions, no wifi, no cellphone reception, solar electricity and a donkey geyser, collecting freshly laid eggs in the morning etc is so good for the soul. What an amazing place for a break from our busy lifestyles, a working farm/game farm with wildebeest and farm animals on your stoep, at night light a boma and watch the stars and milky way and listen to jackals in the distance, I will remember this getaway for a long time 🤩🙏🙏🙏

We had an incredible weekend at Tinker’s beautiful house, set within Zebula. A highlight of our stay was watching the animals come to drink from the water hole and right up to the house. The house was spacious, with generous sleeping areas and a well-equipped kitchen. We also loved the nice walking trails nearby and the fantastic braai (barbecue) facilities. It was perfect for families, and the kids had plenty of room to play and explore. A special mention to Sinah, the housekeeper, who was absolutely wonderful and took great care of us during our stay. We highly recommend this place and hope to return soon!

Our family spent two nights at Tulani Manor and loved it! The views from the house are unreal. Giraffe, elephants and so many animals wandering past and stopping by the watering hole. The staff was wonderful and made being there very comfortable. And we LOVED Chris, the game drive guide. He taught us so much and we really enjoyed the time with him. Thank you Tania!

Great stay, second time there. A few hiccups beyond Debi's control that were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The house is great and fully equipped. No WiFi (hey, you're in the bush) but decent mobile coverage for data. Stock up in Bela Bela before you get there as there aren't any shops close by and be prepared for occasional power outages: a cool box, ice and torches (although there are some in the house). Thanks Debi, we'll be back.
